Diane Kruger In Marni – Out In Hollywood

Diane Kruger was spotted out with her handsome beau Joshua Jackson, shopping at Alexander McQueen and Monique Lhuillier before heading to lunch at Ago in Hollywood, California on Wednesday.

The German actress wore a Marni Summer edition 2013 dress.

Her green silk-crepe dress features a distinctive ‘quacking ducks’ print, which we’ve seen on Solange Knowles.

Diane styled her look with contrasting accessories, adding a black leather belt, navy booties, tortoiseshell round sunglasses and a luxe beige structured tote to her look.

If only we could all look this effortless, with a hot beau in tow to hold our Alexander McQueen and Monique Lhuillier purchases.

Julianne Moore In Dolce & Gabbana and Chloe Moretz In Marni – ‘Carrie’ Cancun Photocall

Julianne Moore and Chloe Moretz attended a photocall of their latest movie, ‘Carrie’, during the 5th Annual Summer of Sony, held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cancun, Mexico yesterday evening.
Both dressed for the gorgeous climes.

Julianne Moore: The red-haired actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana ivory lace dress with sheer sleeves, styled with black Tabitha Simmons shoes, which prevent this look from feeling to mumsy.

Chloe Moretz: For a while I just didn’t get Chloe’s mature style; however, lately she’s been a delight on the red carpet. She looked super cute wearing a burgundy Marni cotton-twill dress featuring a white-and-blue pineapple print, which she styled with nude t-bar Louboutin pumps and an orange wrap-around watch. A half-up, half-down hairstyle completed her look.

Solange Knowles In Marni Edition – Verizon Wireless and Nokia Live Event

Austin, Texas seems to be the place to be this week with the film festival taking place in the city, but Solange Knowles was there attending the Verizon Wireless and Nokia Live event.
The singer/DJ wore one of her favourite labels: Marni.

She mixed up her Edition 2013 look by wearing a mocha polka-dotted blazer and blue polka-dotted shirt from the Winter Edition with a green pleated skirt from the Spring Edition. They could easily be from the same collection; she has mixed the pieces flawlessly.

I have conceded that the white shoe trend appears to be here to stay. Especially as these appear to be her shoe colour of choice at the moment.

Keeping her signature hair and red lippie intact, she completed her look with a gold mirrored clutch.

Marni Fragrance Launch

A trendy list turned out to support the first Marni fragrance at an exclusive party on Tuesday, presented by Consuelo Castiglioni, at Marni Edition in New York City. British TV presenter and model Alexa Chung even had a DJ set in store for all those Marni mavens, who dressed for the occasion with bold and brave exits from the designer that ranged in style from cool-girl (and cool-boy) to sassy schoolgirl.

Alexa Chung: Along with her party playlist, Alexa delivered a prepster, winter-casual look with her top-to-toe Marni ensemble. She wore a toggle coat over a green printed shirt and high-waisted skinny jeans along with a blocky pair of metallic, Pilgrim-like loafers. It shouldn’t all work, but somehow she rocks it in her own way.

Christina Ricci: The actress didn’t get the casual memo like Alexa, instead donning a flirty Marni outfit with her girly green skirt and embellished blouse. She paired it with a beige zipper bag and plain black sandals that looked, well, a bit cold.

Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol: The two DJs from The Misshapes hit some interesting fashion chords. Sporting a new blonde do, Leigh’s candy-apple-red Chanel Spring 2013 overcoat and white shirt dress got an extra shot of quirk with those knee socks and red flats. Geordon played her cool companion, mixing things up with his blue and green micro-prints, matched with a black beanie and patent black shoes.

Celebrities Love…Marni’s ‘Flap’ Bag

There’s another celebrity ‘IT’ bag which is popping up on the shoulders of many young starlets and that’s the Marni ‘Flap’ bag.

The bag, which hails from the brand’s Resort and Spring 2013 collection, is the chic, urban go-to bag to add an edge to celebrities’ off-duty looks.

Jessica Alba and Emma Roberts prefer the two-tone version with a studded flap, while Rashida Jones and Amanda Seyfried’s Marni ‘Flap’ bag of choice has a studded shoulder strap.
