‘Black Panther’ World Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The highly anticipated world premiere of Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ was on Monday (January 29) in Hollywood, California, which drew a veritable constellation of actresses to support the film’s stars Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, and Nabiyah Be.

Sydelle Noel: The actress opted for a golden goddess look in this shimmering Marc Bouwer gown, by which the cutouts made it a sleekly modern interpretation. The gold dress was one thing, but she channeled Vanessa Bell in ‘Coming To America’ even more so with her Imani-approved high ponytail hair.

Chloe Bennett: The high-shine aesthetic continued with Chloe’s Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2017 embellished gown, which wasn’t anything we haven’t seen. Yet, I like that she let the gown have its time in the spotlight by keeping her accessories -which included Neil J. Rodgers ‘Stella’ shoes and Monica Vinader jewels – to a minimum.

Cobie Smulders: Also getting the glitz memo, Cobie glittered in a Markarian Pre-Fall 2018 grock that offered a fresher silhouette by virtue of its sharp lines and side slit. The minimalistic styling – Jimmy Choo ‘Ellipse’ clutch and ‘Minny’ sandals – also served her quite well here, as the dress was the main attraction.

Issa Rae In Markarian – Power in Women’s Cocktail Event

Issa Rae lit up the night at the Power in Women’s Cocktail Event at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday (January 20) in Park City, Utah.

The ‘Insecure’ actress dressed up a dark shirt and jeans with a shimmering Markarian Pre-Fall 2018 Rainbow Stripe Sequin Wallflower Wrap Coat.

I was captivated by the glistening bands of color on the topper.

And then I got to the footwear.

I will make concessions for the boots because it’s Sundance, but I feel deflated as this was a missed opportunity for a fabulous pair of black boots.

Millie Bobby Brown In Markarian – NETFLIX Celebration of the 2018 Awards Season Nominees

Millie Bobbie Brown attended NETFLIX’s Celebration of the 2018 Awards Season Nominees on Saturday (January 20).

The ‘Stranger Things’ actress and style darling wore a Spring 2018 Markarian dress with silver peep-toe pumps and what seems to be no jewelry at all.

This look is just furthering Millie’s position as a rising fashion star for me. The tinsel detailing is fashion-forward but also tons of fun, and the ruffles are just impeccable. The flawless fit only furthers how on point this is, and reminds us all how great it is to be young and have access to fashion!

Hilary Rhoda In Markarian – 2017 Whitney Art Party

I was instantly drawn to Hilary Rhoda’s look from the 2017 Whitney Art Party on Tuesday (November 14) in New York City.

Firstly her Markarian Fall 2017 dress is brimming with festive cheer.

I adore the bold asymmetrical hem that brings about an edge and modern attitude which was an interesting change of pace for Hilary.

Plus I love the unique materials used to bring this look to life; making it a totally different piece we saw in the look book.

Alexandra O’Neill’s Markarian is an emerging brand who is receiving a lot of celebrity love right now.

Known for the oh-so-pretty, I love this cool twist.

Jaime Ray Newman In Markarian – ‘Marvel’s The Punisher’ New York Premiere

The stars collided for Jaime Ray Newman at ‘Marvel’s The Punisher’ New York premiere on Monday (November 6).

With a nod to soft femininity, she donned a Markarian Spring 2017 star-embossed, peplum gown.

I love the dream-like quality of thus dress with its diaphanous layers and sophisticated whimsy.

Nor can I look away from the gorgeous—and unexpected—finishing touch of the turquoise hoop earrings, as they deliver a little jolt of energy to refresh the romance factor.

Alicia Sanz In Markarian – Childhelp Hosts An Evening Celebrating Hollywood Heroes

Alicia Sanz donned a Markarian Fall 2017 dress for the Childhelp Hollywood Heroes event on Wednesday (October 18) in Beverly Hills, California.

What appeared to be a simple half-moon and planet printed frock, becomes rather eye-popping when you see the cut outs at the side which further reveal some cheeky side-boob.

I’m not sure I understand the red René Caovilla pumps here, mostly because they don’t add anything to the look, so I’m going to guess that the idea was to ground the look and stave off any boudoir vibes.

You may remember that Emma Roberts wore the black version of this dress back in March.

Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic was held on Saturday (October 14) in Pacific Palisades, California, with a number of stars in attendance for the day of sport.

Tracee Ellis Ross: This look brought a big smile to my face, as I was immediately charmed by the Agnes B printed top and mustard-yellow Celine trousers. The star of the show was the Eric Javits hat, though, with Stuart Weitzman ‘Marlon’ shoes completing the typically quirky look. The shoes were funky, to be sure, but it was the Louis Vuitton clutch that I could have done without.

Camilla Belle: This Adeam Resort 2018 asymmetrical frock offered up such a delicately feminine vibe, with her pink lip echoing that spirit. Her block heels ensured there would be no sinking into the grass.

Kate Hudson: I loved the playfulness of this candy-stripe Johanna Ortiz Resort 2018 wide-leg jumpsuit, all tied up with its girlish bow. But, I would have been fearful that Kate would trip on the pants that puddled on the ground. The giant rosebud earrings were such fun as was the Clare V. ‘Petite Alice’ tote.
