End Of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

There were so many looks this week, that we’re going to cram them into this final post.

Josephine De La Baume: Attending the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere, the French actress opted to infuse her red carpet style with high-voltage seduction courtesy of this Self-Portrait devore mini dress from the Fall 2017 collection. I’m not usually a big fan of platform shoes, but I find myself buying what she’s selling as these Miu Miu Mary Janes add a playful vibe.

Martha Hunt: I love the fashion forward feel of this Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh black cropped blazer and sequin dress from the Fall 2017 collection with simple black pumps. Worn to the World of Children Awards, this was a truly intriguing look I have to say.

Ajak Deng: This saffron yellow Roksanda ‘Tamiko’ jumpsuit from the Fall 2017 collection gave me so much joy at the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere. I love the relaxed nature of it all with the chunky heels adding a utilitarian flavour.

Angel Ball 2017

The Angel Ball 2017, which fundraises for the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for cancer research, happened on Monday (October 23) in New York City bringing out numerous celebrities dressed to the nines.

La La Anthony: The multi-hyphenate wore a Rani Zakhem Spring 2017 Couture gown with gold embellishment that gave the black base a night sky effect. The earrings enhanced the glistening fabric, but I would have preferred it without the belt.

Karolina Kurkova:
The model oozed sophistication in a black column gown. It might not have spoken as loudly as other ensembles, but the Chopard jewels and a joyful yellow clutch helped make it a memorable look.

Maria Menounos:
Recalling disco heydays the journalist and host dazzled in a Maria Lucia Hohan gown. Not bothered with boobs or legs, the dress had a down-to-there neckline and thigh-high slit. Maria’s soft makeup and topknot helped put a modern spin on the rose gold pleated gown.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

It was all about enchanting black at the ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ LA premiere on Tuesday (October 10) with many ladies opting for dresses in the dark shade.

Praya Lundberg: The model-actress shimmered in a Maria Lucia Hohan dress and Borgioni diamond drop earrings. The long sleeves of the dress were balanced by a thigh-high slit and a strapless neckline.

Mackenzie Foy:
The young actress opted for ballet pink Miu Miu separates. The sleeveless blouse and cropped pants were speckled with sparkles. An embellished collar, Prada clutch and silver sandals provided further shimmer.

Elsa Pataky: Supporting husband Chris Hemsworth, the Spanish model-actress looked regal in a Victoria Beckham Resort 2017 gown. The simple black column style was enhanced with a twist on the bodice and a gold choker necklace.

Rosario Dawson In Maria Lucia Hohan – Museum of Artemis: Life on the Moon

Rosario Dawson attended the ‘Artemis: Journey To The Moon’ event on Thursday (October 5) in New York City.

If you thought you knew everything there is to know about Maria Lucia Hohan dresses, Rosario invites you to throw out those notions when you see her latest look.

The Romanian designers signature style has given way to this free-flowing halter chiffon dress with peek-a-boo sensual panels accented with studs to give the look a galactic feel.

Malone Souliers ‘Savannah’ heels completed this very strong showing from Rosario.

One for her hall-of-fame.

2017 Emmy Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is our roundup from Sunday’s 2017 Emmy Awards.

Shannon Purser: I felt this was quite a magical, fairytale moment for Shannon. Her custom Sachin and Babi gown was simply breath-taking. Not only in colour, but also in design. The look was styled with Swarovski jewels.

Judith Light: Some might say this Christian Siriano gown is dated, but Judith brings so much energy to the look, that one can’t help but be left in awe.

Toronto Film Festival Red Carpet Roundup

The 2017 Toronto Film Festival red carpet has been red-haute with looks throughout the weekend, and here is a roundup of the rest of the stars that were seen on Sunday (September 10).

Margaret Qualley: The young starlet was at the ‘Novitate’ premiere dressed in a Valentino Fall 2017 gown. This ornate look translated a bit heavily for me, but it’s intriguing to watch Margaret continue to boldly experiment with her style.

Evan Rachel Wood: I absolutely loved this Stella McCartney Resort 2018 pinstripe ensemble on the actress at the ‘A Worthy Companion’ premiere. Riffing on menswear, the look perfectly played into her edgy style sensibility while providing a different take on the suiting trend with its play on proportions. Her makeup seemed a bit overzealous, but that would be my main qualm. Giuseppe Zanotti shoes completed her look.

Elisabeth Moss: After a few recent looks that successfully pushed the boundaries of Elisabeth’s go-to style, she was back in her comfort zone at ‘The Square’ premiere with this Rochas retro-inspired jumper and skirt accessorised with Chloe Gosselin embellished pumps.
