Olivia Culpo Front Row @ NYFW Fall 2017

There seemed to be hardly a front row seat without Olivia Culpo’s name on it during New York Fashion Week—her respective designer looks from each show reflecting the wide variety of presentations she frequented.

Noon By Noor: Mannish vamp was the mood with her all-black ensemble at the Noon By Noor show on Thursday (February 9), where her sleek bun and glossy crimson lip took the look from standard to sultry.

Cushnie Et Ochs: Pants again were in play at the Cushnie et Ochs show on Friday (February 10), but the most I noticed of them was where the waistband peeked through the deep plunge of the vest that actually seemed strangely ill-fitting. It compromised the outfit, as sometimes a plunge is just too deep. She accessorized with a Lee Savage clutch.

Zimmermann: From menswear to mega-feminine, Olivia flipped the script at the Zimmermann show on Monday (February 13) with a look from the label’s Spring 2017 collection that served up ruffled, lacy romanticism with an innocently sultry finish. With the lace-up boots, you can see the ‘sexy pirate’ edge that was rife throughout that collection.

Katie Holmes In Marchesa – Go Red for Women Dress Collection 2017

Katie Holmes attended the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection show during New York Fashion Week on Thursday (February 9).

Showcasing Marchesa’s penchant for embellishment and spotlight-stealing designs, this chic dress – intricately adorned with fringing, sequin and beading – is even more majestic in movement.

With the red dress came a red lip, and an elegant updo which championed this smooth transition from Bollywood to Hollywood.

Victoria Justice In Marchesa – amfAR New York Gala

Victoria Justice brought a whole new meaning to the phrase, ‘shutting down the red carpet’ while attending the 19th Annual amfAR New York Gala on Wednesday (February 8) in New York City.

The actress wore a Marchesa Spring 2017 ball gown which fuses exquisite detailing with supreme femininity.

I just love the 3D floral embroidery adds a couture-like attention to detail.

Some might say there is too much gown in this gown for young Victoria to handle, but for me she strides down this red carpet like a seasoned pro; floating gracefully with every step.

Nicole Kidman In Marchesa – 2017 Directors Guild Of America Awards

Nicole Kidman was also at the 2017 Directors Guild Of America Awards on Saturday (February 4) in Beverly Hills.

After her rather lacklustre beige dress at the 2017 Producers Guild Awards, the slightly more luminescent quality of this bejeweled, mauve-gray Marchesa Resort 2017 cocktail frock was a welcome relief.

The artistry of the intricate beading work made up for any lack of vibrancy, with metallic silver Jimmy Choo ‘Truce’ sandals and a Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch bringing another layer of lustre.

Kaley Cuoco In Marchesa – 2017 SAG Awards

Kaley Cuoco also attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The ‘Big Bang Theory’ star made a big bang on the red carpet in this Marchesa Spring 2017 gown, with its ombre blue and pink tulle skirt and train.

This is probably the most ‘out there’ Kaley has been on a red carpet in a long time, and as much as I want to love it, something is stopping me. It’s all a bit Katy Perry, who would totally rock this dress. But does Kaley have the conviction?

And although the colour washes her out slightly, the shape is very good for Kaley: dainty straps, cinched in waist and a slight fishtail skirt is a good call.
