Fan Bingbing In Marchesa – ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

"Mad Max : Fury Road" Premiere - The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Fan Bingbing made her second red carpet appearance during Cannes Film Festival for the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ premiere this evening (May 14) in Cannes, France.

The actress wore an extremely beautiful Marchesa Spring 2015 dusty grey v-neck tulle gown made all the more heavenly with the billowing sleeves and delicate pastel multi-colour feathers and crystal bouquets.

Sadly, I couldn’t get on board with the crystal bouquet headpiece, which takes this look down an overstyled and almost comical/costumey path.

Eva Longoria In Marchesa – 2015 People En Espanol’s ’50 Most Beautiful’ Gala

Eva Longoria In Marchesa - People en Espagnol’s 50 Most Beautiful 2015 Gala

Following her horrendous look at the 2015 Upfront presentation, Eva Longoria did a 180 while attending the People En Espanol’s ’50 Most Beautiful’ Gala at the IAC Building on Monday (May 12) in New York City.

I love how chic her Marchesa Fall 2015 plume-effect lamé and crepe jumpsuit is; oozing just a hint of sexy appeal while putting forth plenty of sophistication and flair.

I’ll excuse the dull-beyond-belief pumps on account that she was able to turn around her previous misfortune so quickly, and because her red lips serve as a welcome distraction.

Is the love for this look shared or are you waiting for Eva to hit Cannes knowing that’s when she’s in her element?

Elizabeth Banks In Marchesa – ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ LA Premiere

Elizabeth Banks In Marchesa - 'Pitch Perfect 2' LA Premiere

Elizabeth Banks attended the ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ LA premiere held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Friday (May 8) in Los Angeles, California.

As the producer/director of this movie, Elizabeth’s red carpet style has shifted from glorious Couture gowns to chic separates and few jumpsuits, while still maintaining her magnetic appeal.

That was the case when she stepped out on the red carpet wearing this Marchesa Fall 2015 look featuring a fringed halter scarf and sleek black trousers.

This look means business without being boring or stale.

I think those who tag Elizabeth as being consistently over-dressed don’t give her enough credit.

Models @ The 2015 Met Gala

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

The models also had their moment at the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), some strutting to the beat of the theme better than others.

Karen Elson: One of the most extravagantly attired models, Karen truly embraced the ‘costume’ in the Costume Institute Benefit Gala in her Dolce & Gabbana ballgown spectacle featuring an ornately embellished and gilded bodice with matching cuffs, and an explosion of red tulle. Her elaborate gold headpiece also gave Sarah Jessica Parker’s own topper a bit of crown competition. This was the Chinese princess moment of the night.

Sofia Vergara In Marchesa – 2015 Met Gala

Sofia Vergara In Marchesa - 2015 Met Gala

Sofia Vergara also made her way around the red carpet of the 2015 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

Not even a magnifying glass could help locate any measure of the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ theme in the ‘Modern Family’ actress’s ballet-pink Marchesa strapless confection.

This was a Sofia gown through and through with all the trademarks of her signature style. The same goes for her beauty look consisting of long waves and sultry makeup tones.

Ethereal with its angelic chiffon layers and sparkling embellishment, the dress was beautiful yet oh so expected and rather uninspired for this occasion.
