Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Irina Shayk was the guest of honour at the 60th Birthday Party for Fawaz Gruosi, President and Founder of de Grisogono.

The Russian supermodel looked heavenly wearing an ethereal Marchesa strapless chiffon gown with crystal embroidered bodice.

With all those crystals on her gown, you’d have thought she would’ve been all blinged out, but the jewelry founder bestowed upon her some quite magnificent diamond-and-emerald de Grisogono jewels.

Who would say no to those dazzling beauties?

Barely there makeup and a simple updo completed her look.

Jaime King is always a delight on the red carpet; she looked stunning as ever when attending InStyle’s Summer Soiree at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, last night.

The ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress was dressed in a beautiful Marchesa Resort 2013 one-shoulder cocktail dress with cascading ruffles, a layered peplum detail at the waist and patent bow accent.

Her stunning scarlet dress was styled with an eye-catching Marchesa beaded-and-sequin embellished clutch for a touch of pizzazz to the look.

To prevent the look from being too one note, she added nude Jimmy Choo ‘Delta’ strappy sandals and applied a rose-pink lip colour with gold studded earrings and a slicked-back bun providing the finishing touches.

I know some of you aren’t the biggest fans of Marchesa’s work, but you have to admit that this look is pretty special.

Marchesa has long been a Hollywood staple, and with its characteristically romantic designs, it’s not much of a mystery why.

Design duo Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig are master drapers and know exactly how to make a dress work for a woman’s body.

Their Resort 2013 collection highlights Marchesa’s tendency to play with tulle, lace and patterns, constantly emerging with a distinctly elegant and fashion forward result.

The gorgeous Marchesa Resort 2013 collection is now available on every fashion girl’s best friend, ModaOperandi.com.

Included in the trunk show — which ends on July 31st — is an embroidered cocktail dress which is similar to the gown Diane Kruger wore to the Jacob & Co. Charity Gala earlier this month.

So if you’re in the market for some red-carpet-worthy elegance, head over to ModaOperandi.com now and check out the fabulous Marchesa offerings.

As you know I was unmoved by Diane Kruger’s previous look, but this is the Diane I know and love.

The German actress joined a host of stars including boyfriend Joshua Jackson, Coco Rocha and Adrien Brody on Friday evening at the Salle Empire, Hotel de Paris in Monaco for an intimate and exclusive gala presented by Jacob Arabo of Jacob & Co. to support two wonderful charities: the Princess Charlene Foundation (supported by Princess Charlene of Monaco) and the Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy (supported by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco).

Diane looked stunning wearing a Marchesa Resort 2013 gown, our first look at this collection since it was recently presented.

Never one to play by the ‘rules’, she opted to mix her metals teaming dazzling silver Jacob & Co. pieces with her white gown enriched with gold embellishments.

The gown has a lot going on with the flock of feathers on the sleeves and empire waist. Some may have been overwhelmed by such a striking, show-stopping gown, but Diane carries it off with great aplomb.

I would place this over the Alaia in BDOTW poll.

Katy Perry was in London last night for the premiere of her docu-movie ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D’.

Britain may not be her home anymore, but she showed that she still has love for our nation by wearing red, white and blue lashes, a Union Jack Solange Azagury-Partridge ring and a matching umbrella.

Even with her quirky accessories, she opted for a ballerina-esque Marchesa Fall 2012 dress.

The pretty white sleeveless dress featuring intricate gold embroidery detailing and a frothy tulle skirt and bustline was styled with a sleek bun.

Her fitted dress is slightly different compared to the runway, as Katy’s dress features a shorter tulle accent at the bust.

Flawless makeup and a final ode to British brands via her Jimmy Choo ‘Lauren’ diamanté-and-suede strappy sandals and a polka-dot pedicure completed her look.

Naomi Watts was flanked by the hosts David Furnish and Elton John on a sunny evening in Windsor, England, for the 14th Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball to Benefit Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Taking the dress code very seriously, Naomi looked stunning in a Marchesa gown that was similar to Look 5 from the Fall 2012 collection.

Her gold-embroidered crane gown had a delightful princess-like frothy tulle flared skirt.

We objected to her overwhelming necklace worn with a Marchesa gown during Cannes Film Festival, but on this occasion her Chopard triple-strand white diamond necklace and white diamond cuff were the perfect complements.

The look was complete with a fresh-faced look and chic updo.
