Sophia Bush In Marchesa – 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards

Sophia Bush In Marchesa - 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards

Sophia Bush attended the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center on Monday (June 2) in New York City showcasing a new blonde ‘do.

The actress wore a stunning Marchesa cream long-sleeved laser-cut-out dress enhanced with crystal embroidery from the Fall 2014 collection.

Her dress is amazing but it’s the styling which really elevates the look. Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals complement the look but it’s the stunning Dannijo necklace and ice-blue Rauwolf clutch, plus the pops of red, which leave me breathless.

A wavy faux bob and luscious red lips completed her look.

This was one of my faves on the night.

Uma Thurman In Marchesa – ‘A Fistful of Dollars’ Cannes Film Festival Screening & Closing Ceremony

Uma Thurman In Marchesa - 'A Fistful of Dollars' Cannes Film Festival Screening & Closing Ceremony

Uma Thurman attended the Closing Ceremony and ‘A Fistful of Dollars’ screening during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 24) in Cannes, France.

At first I thought she was wearing Givenchy Couture as her white satin gown featuring Japanese crane embroidery is similar to pieces we’ve seen in the Givenchy Spring 2011 Couture collection.

As dramatic as the embroidery is, this fails to excite, especially when compared to her Atelier Versace from the night before.

Chopard jewels completed her look.

Naomi Watts In Marchesa – Charles Finch Filmmakers Dinner

Naomi Watts In Marchesa - Charles Finch Filmmakers DinnerBefore stunning on the red carpet at the ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival, Naomi Watts was earlier at the annual Charles Finch Filmmakers Dinner at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Friday (May 16).

As at the premiere, the actress was again lovely in a romantic Marchesa creation, this one from the Fall 2014 collection.

Perhaps it’s because I still have visions of Poppy Delevingne’s wedding gown in my head, but when I saw Naomi’s lacy and ruffled white dress, I immediately thought bridal—at least from the waist up.

The black accessories, including a metallic-accented clutch and ankle-strap sandals, help counteract that notion.

Naomi Watts In Marchesa – ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Naomi Watts In Marchesa - ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2? Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Naomi Watts attended the ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 16) in Cannes, France.

There are very few traditions left when it comes to Cannes, but you can always rely on Naomi to wear Marchesa.

Naomi wore an exquisite, graceful custom dusty blue silk chiffon draped Grecian gown with black diamond crystal embroidery, with a cowl overlay sweeping through the sweetheart neckline.

As the face of Bulgari, she donned a diamond-encrusted serpent necklace that snaked around the back. On an ordinary night this may have been considered overkill because of the embellishments on the gown, but this is no ordinary night.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Blake Lively In Gucci Premiere, Karolina Kurkova In Marchesa, Benedict Cumberbatch In Ralph Lauren & Douglas Booth In Burberry

BD1 12 May

There was just no separating Blake Lively and Karolina Kurkova this week.

Both taking 34% of your votes, they were neck and neck all weekend.

Blake swept you off your feet with her dazzling return to the red carpet in Gucci Premiere, while Karolina’s Marchesa sculpted strapless satin-organza gown was not only a thing of beauty but was also one of the very few looks which lived up to the theme. This was my favourite too.

Kylie Minogue In Marchesa – 2014 Met Gala

Kylie Minogue In Marchesa - 2014 Met Gala

Kylie Minogue was a guest of Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman at the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

The Marchesa designers created this gorgeous ivory silk-tulle gown with a deep plunging neckline, gold threadwork and black-diamond embroidery for the Australian actress/singer, which sees her step away from her favoured Italian designers for a rare change.

Sparkling with Harry Winston jewels, Kylie completed her look with the brand’s signature quartz-clasp clutch and a voluminous bouffant.
