I think we all changed out minds several times this week.
I went from Aniston to Fanning to Saldana, but I was blown away by Sarah Jessica Parker in her Lanvin dress.
It was mostly because of the colour, the pairing of her yellow dress with pink heels (something I’m definitely going to try) and for her restoring my faith in the Lanvin Spring 2010 collection off the runway.
You guys probably had the same journey, but you ended with SJP in Marchesa.
Her pleated black tulle Marchesa mini with an embroidered star detail on the neck was just the right type of dress to get us exciting about the “Sex And The City 2″ movie as this is so Carrie Bradshaw.
If she’s wowing us this much at ShoWest, just imagine what she’s going to do during the film’s premiere.

BDOTW just became impossible.
I needed to do a separate post for Sarah Jessica Parker at the closing ceremony because she left me breathless.
The Sex And The City actress looks outstanding in this Marchesa Fall 2010 shooting stars mini dress.
At the Fall 2010 Marchesa presentation I imagined this dress on someone like Selena Gomez, but SJP injects that cute sweet personality this dress needs. This mini is not about being sexy.
The actress wore her dress with black patent pumps, which surprisingly don’t upset me, but that’s maybe because the model wore this dress with ankle boots so the pumps are an upgrade.

It’s A Grower Award
Vera Farmiga was one of the first to walk the red carpet at the 2010 Oscars.
The reason it’s taken me so long to post her look, is because I knew it would grow on me and it did.
Her Marchesa strapless column dress with sculpted pleated cascade is such a big gown, but Vera didn’t shy way from it.
She appears to be in love with Marchesa, as she also wore a Marchesa gown to the BAFTAs.
Her hair was styled into a loose updo and her lipstick is very complementary to her look.

Most Fabulous & Confident Award
Gabourey Sidibe certainly had a lot of confidence as she walked the red carpet at the 2010 Oscars.
Her description of the beautiful blue Marchesa gown was “If fashion was porn, this dress would be the money shot”.
I have to say this is the best I have seen her on the red carpet.
Something is usually always off for me, but the hair and make-up look good on this occasion.
Lorraine Schwartz jewels complete her look.

Please Smile You Look Fabulous Award
Sandra Bullock looked beautiful as she walked the red carpet at the 2010 Oscars tonight, but I just wish she would believe it more.
If I was wearing this stunning Marchesa Fall 2010 gown you wouldn’t be able to wipe the smile off my face, but I guess she’s nervous on her big night.
The beaded gown had an embroidered illusion bodice which is really elegant.
She was definitely one of my favourites of the night.
This gown looks like it was made for her.

I think Camilla Belle’s Marchesa feathered confection was equally loved and hated.
But the love shone through to crown her Best Dressed this week.
If we were talking about the week she definitely deserved recognition for stepping out on the red carpet looking fab at each event.
This won’t be a popular choice as only 5% of you agreed, but I LOVED Rihanna in her Alexandre Vauthier jumpsuit.
Sexy, edgy, daring and on top of that she totally OWNED the look.
I dare anyone else to wear this jumpsuit with this much fabulousity.

Best Modification Award
Vera Farmiga made the right choice at the 2010 Film Independent Spirit Awards.
As much as I love gowns on a red carpet, the Spirit Awards isn’t about that. It’s more casual, so I love that Vera shortened her Marchesa Resort 2010 red dress to make it more event appropriate.
I don’t however like her peep-toes as they almost blend into her skin-tone.
Yes it would’ve been too matchy matchy, but I would’ve preferred red heels on this occasion.
