‘Empire’ & ‘Star’ Celebrate FOX’s New Wednesday

A trio of sultry stars were at the ‘Empire’ and ‘Star’ Celebrate FOX’s New Wednesday event on Saturday (September 23) in New York City.

Taraji P. Henson: The ‘Empire’ actress was smoldering, as she combined sheer sexiness with full-on sparkle in a Rasario skirt.

Demi Moore: Demi’s version of sultry appeal had her looking to lace and velvet in this Marchesa fit-and-flare dress styled with Eva Fehren jewels. I found myself wondering what it would look like without the bow at the neck, though, for a sleeker variation on sophistication.

Rumer Willis: Joining mom Demi at the event, Rumer was on-trend in her relaxed, slightly oversized Styland and Ruben Singer monochromatic suiting. The look was styled wih Ananbela Chan brooch, Djula hoops and a Pasquale Bruni diamond ring .

Post Emmys Parties

Following the big show, came the Emmy’s after parties hosted by HBO and FOX which saw a few celebrities change into second looks.

Julianne Hough: When it comes to after-parties, the idea is to switch into something more comfortable to get your groove on without the fear of someone stepping on the train you’ve been carrying around during the awards ceremony, but Julianne has different idea. She used the occasion to dress up again, wearing a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2018 gown with a train longer than her Marchesa gown. I love the ethereal nature of the gown, but I really dislike the clutch here and I feel like she’s a tad overdressed for the occasion.

Sarah Hyland: When I look at Sarah in this Vatanika Spring 2018 LBD, I’m like, “yes, she gets it. She came to party”.

Vanessa Kirby In Marchesa – 2017 Emmy Awards

Vanessa Kirby attended the red carpet of the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The ‘The Crown’ actress is at the height of the fashion season wearing a gown from the Marchesa 2018 Resort collection.

From the frothy fabric to the rosy hue, this gown is all things feminine and lovely, and I’m sold.

I also love the edgier styling details, since the gown is so girly. The dark lip, the grungy hair and the mid-arm bangle are all surprising choices with this gown, but it works seamlessly.

Julianne Hough In Marchesa – 2017 Emmy Awards

Julianne Hough was one of the first on the red carpet of the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in LA.

Staying firmly within her girlie style, she debuted a look from the Marchesa Spring 2018 collection with this cherry-blossom-bedecked confection accessorised with Aldo heels and Forevermark Diamonds.

I love the contrast between the dainty-pink softness of the floral that whispers across the gown and the wispy black layers that portray fall’s more appropriate version of the sheer trend—one that leaves a bit more to the imagination.

This fairy-tale gown, which is so feminine without the shred of overly saccharine sweetness, was on the Red Carpet Wish List for Alison Brie.

But, were you just as happy to see Julianne wearing it?

Harper’s BAZAAR Celebrates ‘ICONS By Carine Roitfeld’

The list of lovelies at Harper’s BAZAAR Celebrates ‘ICONS By Carine Roitfeld’ on Friday (September 8) in New York City was seemingly unending, as a number of stars joined Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, and Kim Kardashian.

Gigi Hadid: Her hyper-embellished Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2017 ensemble, styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, was so intricate and powerful of a statement that it really didn’t require the rhinestone clogs.

Kaia Gerber: Cindy Crawford’s model daughter was all grown up in a slinky Kristian Aadnevik Fall 2017 mini that had her looking like her mom more and more.

Kendall Jenner: There was little left to the imagination in this Dolce & Gabbana ruched, sheer number. Yet, ironically in spite of the see-through, I couldn’t help but still get a certain sophisticated, glam vibe with the look, which I will chalk up to its silhouette along with Kendall’s Old-Hollywood waves, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and Jimmy Choo sandals.
