Issa Rae In Marc Jacobs – 2018 NAACP Image Awards

Issa Rae shone at the 2018 NAACP Image Awards on Monday (January 15) in Pasadena, California, joining Tracee Ellis Ross and Storm Reid.

A dazzling outfit was in order given that she was nominated for three awards for her work on ‘Insecure.’

This Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 gown was made for the red carpet as the elbow-length sleeves and high neck were juxtaposed with an open back and a plain black skirt panel with tie.

It was 360 degrees of glamour.

Tracee Ellis Ross In Marc Jacobs – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

I am always excited to see what fashion adventure Tracee Ellis Ross will lead us on, and she didn’t disappoint at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

She may be a fan of bold hues, but she didn’t let the all-black theme cramp her style tonight.

Her Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 black jersey halter dress was just as spirited as the star herself with its structured bow at the neckline.

That it was styled over black jogger pants and with a satin turban, also from the Spring 2018 collection, only contributed to that quirky Tracee edge that we know and love.

A red lip and pearl Irene Neuwirth earrings provided another layer of elegantly dramatic attitude to finish the look.

Kristen Wiig In Marc Jacobs – ‘Downsizing’ LA Premiere

Kristen Wiig made a bold statement at the ‘Downsizing’ LA premiere on Monday (December 18).

I enjoy how the black and white floral pattern on her Marc Jacobs gown plays off the downsizing theme with its supersized proportions.

The pattern could have been overwhelming, especially with the addition of the full sleeve, but the asymmetrical neckline and slit helped balance out the blooms wonderfully.

She accessorized with dangling black earrings that enhanced the exposed shoulder and brought attention to her cropped hair.

Weekend Red Carpet Roundup

It was a fashion-filled weekend with many stylish stars stepping out on the red carpet.

Kate Mara: I must say, I’ve enjoyed the actress’s recent tailored looks. She continued her fashion reign in Christian Siriano at the 2017 Humane Society Of The United States To The Rescue! event on Friday (November 10). The rich green fabric of the slim suit was contrasted beautifully with the Jimmy Choo ‘Kerry’ sandals and pink Tyler Ellis bag.

Alison Brie: I almost did not recognize the actress at the ‘The Disaster Artist’ AFI Fest screening on Sunday (November 12). Her Marc Jacobs dress combined with the soft curls had a charming retro feel. It had a Betty Boop quality to it with the sweet bow detail and frill on the bodice contrasting the black belt and platform ankle-strap pumps.

Zoe Saldana: There were a myriad of looks at the Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday (November 11). The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actress looked regal in this black gown with suiting elements. The large notched collar framed her face. But, it was the undone skirt which opened to reveal her delicate sandals that made it.

Jaime King In Marc Jacobs – PAPER Magazine Runway Benefit For Make-A-Wish Foundation

Jaime King has been hitting the red carpet hard the last few weeks, which I love as I’m always intrigued to see what she’s going to bring us next.

I have been dying to see the high-shine, brightly coloured, boldly patterned and heavily adorned Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 collection on the carpet, so I was excited that was Jaime’s choice for the PAPER Magazine Runway Benefit For Make-A-Wish Foundation on Tuesday (October 24).

While we had this on our wish list for Lupita Nyong’o, I’m loving the energy Jaime is bringing to this look, as not many can make me fall in love with a harem-style jumpsuit.

Giuseppe Zanotti ‘BarBra’ sandals completed her look.

Kate Mara In Marc Jacobs – Physicians Formula Celebrates 80th Anniversary

Kate Mara helped the Physicians Formula celebrate their 80th Anniversary on Thursday (October 19) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress was projecting a classy impression wearing a corduroy Marc Jacobs mini dress in a vintage-esque floral pattern featuring slightly puffed shoulders giving a nod to the romantic Victorian era.

Did the high neckline require a high bun?
