Maya Rudolph In Marc Jacobs – ‘The Emoji Movie’ LA Premiere

‘The Emoji Movie’ premiere took place on Sunday (July 23) in Westwood, California, with Maya Rudolph in attendance.

The actress looked beautiful wearing a Marc Jacobs Resort 2017 butterfly embroidered dress which was bursting with colour and vibrancy which fits her personality.

An orange paillette clutch amps up the fun element while strappy sandals adds some modernity.

I love how this look manages to fit the theme of the movie, while still possessing plenty of Maya’s sophisticated red carpet charm.

Tessa Thompson In Marc Jacobs & Rodarte – Marvel Studios Hall H Panel & Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party

Tessa Thompson has been at Comic-Con International 2017, where the ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ actress attended the Marvel Studios Hall H Panel on Saturday (July 22) and the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party the same day in San Diego, California.

Marvel Studios Hall H Panel: When stripped of its dynamic red jacket from the Marc Jacobs Resort 2018 lookbook, this fringed LBD didn’t have quite the same impact as something about the sheer top translated as a bit unfinished. But, the glam-mod ’60s mood was still a sassy one, to which she further played into with her Giuseppe Zanotti platforms.

Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party: Fully immersed in the crafty yet whimsical notions of the Rodarte label, Tessa wore one of the ruffled lace numbers from the Fall 2017 collection. The luminescent silver treatment possessed a certain romance, but I kept wondering if the dress would have been better sans sleeves.

Laura Haddock In Marc Jacobs – ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Tokyo Premiere

The ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ epic promo tour came to an end on Thursday (July 20) in Tokyo, Japan.

Laura Haddock served up no surprises opting for yet another gown in a neutral hue for her last hurrah.

In fact, the major surprise is that her gown was created by Marc Jacobs, as the designers red carpet looks tend to be on the short or quirky side.

I love how Laura’s beige lace, silver sequin embroidered gown is imbued with old Hollywood glamour, which is further amped up by her 1920s retro hairstyle.

While there wasn’t much variety in the colour palette of this promo tour, Laura did herself proud as each gown was simply breath-taking.

Dove Cameron In Marc Jacobs – 2017 ESPYS

The one thing you can say about Dove Cameron’s style, is that she doesn’t take the easy, safe option.

And that was once again the case at the 2017 ESPYS on Wednesday (July 12) in LA.

This Marc Jacobs Spring 2017 silhouette is quite tricky, but the shimmering fabrication ensures it makes a dazzling statement that will leave a lasting impression.

A high neckline and long sleeves keep the piece wearable and contemporary, with strappy sandals enhancing the glam factor.

Kristen Wiig In Marc Jacobs – ‘Despicable Me 3’ LA Premiere

Kristen Wiig was also at the ‘Despicable Me 3’ LA premiere on Saturday (June 24) along with Alice McCall and Miranda Cosgrove.

Right off the bat, I’m sure many will be glad to see that she styled her hair into a fresher, less bowl-cut shape this time out.

But, the rest of her look could fall into slightly less favourable critique.

While I appreciate the playfulness of this brightly hued Marc Jacobs silk chiffon dress, the entirety of the ensemble just didn’t fully come together. The belt struck a constraining note, with her black wrap sandals ending the frock with a heavy thump.

The Irene Neuwirth One of a Kind bejeweled necklace also overcooked it while perhaps enhancing the slight twee factor of that poufy skirt.
