Zhang Ziyi In Marc Bouwer – 4th China Film Directors’ Guild Awards

Zhang Ziyi In Marc Bouwer - 4th China Film Directors' Guild Awards

Zhang Ziyi attended the 4th China Film Directors’ Guild Awards held in Beijing, China on Friday.

The beautiful actress wore yet another Marc Bouwer gown with structured shoulders.

Her silver sequin gown was styled with Cindy Chao jewels and a silver Lana Marks clutch.

While the actress did sparkle, this look feels too one-dimensional to me – plus I’m having a strong case of déjà vu.

Does the Zhang/Bouwer collaboration continue to delight, or do you wish to see her do something different?

Jaimie Alexander In Marc Bouwer – 2013 SAG Awards

Jaimie Alexander In Marc Bouwer - 2013 SAG AwardsStatuesque stunner Jaimie Alexander strutted out a runway-worthy entrance at the 2013 SAG Awards, hosted at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California this evening.

The actress continued her Marc Bouwer love affair with a statement-making, jet-black gown from the Fall 2012 collection. She’s successfully worn the New York-based designer during her recent ‘The Last Stand’ premieres in London, Cologne and LA. This edgy number may be my favorite, though.

The architectural bodice of the dress walked on the delightfully dangerous side with its skin-baring cutouts. But Jaimie managed to pull it off in glamorous rather than garish fashion.

While the silhouette of the skirt was punctured by a knee-grazing front slit, I wasn’t even bothered by the slight mullet-like drape, although it could have certainly done without.

Her sleek updo and minimal jewels upped the sophistication factor even more.

Did you like this Marc Bouwer moment?

Jaimie Alexander In Marc Bouwer – ‘The Last Stand’ London Premiere

Jaimie Alexander In Marc Bouwer PF12- 'The Last Stand' London Premiere

Jaimie Alexander stunned once again on the red carpet at the London premiere of her latest flick ‘The Last Stand’, held at the Odeon West End yesterday evening.

Dressed in yet other Marc Bouwer frock, the actress this time opted for a short and sexy number, switching from her favoured satin gowns worn for her last two appearances.

The heavily embellished white dress, with padded shoulders, a plunging neckline and cut-out details, was the perfect frock to showcase her best asset – her legs.

Styled with snakeskin Nicholas Kirkwood slingbacks, the actress swept her raven locks into a neat updo, with kohl-rimmed eyes and a glossy pink lip colour completing her look.

Jaimie Alexander In Marc Bouwer – ‘The Last Stand’ Cologne Premiere

Jaimie Alexander In Marc Bouwer - 'The Last Stand' Cologne Premiere

Jaimie Alexander joined co-stars Johnny Knoxville and Arnold Schwarzenegger for ‘The Last Stand’ Cologne premiere, held at Astor Film Lounge in Germany this evening.

She may kick butt on the big screen, but she’s always beautiful and feminine on the red carpet.

Dressed in an emerald-green Marc Bouwer Fall 2008 gown, the actress ensured that all eyes were on her.

Her goddess-green gown, with its tantalizing keyhole cut-out and sexy central slit, was modified slightly from the version which took to the runway: the cut-outs under the bust line do not feature on Jaimie’s gown.

Letting the gown do all the work, she added a few subtle jewels including Melinda Maria jewelry and styled her dark locks into a half-up, half-down hairstyle.

I love this newfound love for Marc Bouwer. Jaimie and Zhang Ziyi have been representing the New-York-based designer very well over the past few weeks.

Jaimie Alexander In Marc Bouwer – ‘The Last Stand’ LA Premiere

Jaimie Alexander In Marc Bouwer - ‘The Last Stand’ LA Premiere

Female action star Jaimie Alexander looked stunning when she took to the red carpet on Monday evening for the LA premiere of ‘The Last Stand’, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The brunette beauty wore a Marc Bouwer Pre-Fall 2012 gown, which added some much-needed glamour to this testosterone-fuelled red carpet, also attended by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Johnny Knoxville.

Her ivory satin gown, with a plunging neckline and ruched detailing around the waist, was styled with romantic curls teased into a half-up, half-down style, and gold jewels including a gold necklace with a sapphire pendant.

Even during Globes week, this deserves a BDOTW nomination.
