The Madewell spotdot sweater has been very popular with celebrities.

January Jones was first spotted wearing it whilst leaving a clinic in Santa Monica last month.

She casually wore her sweater with black jeans and black muffin boots whilst carrying a canvas bag on her shoulder.

Young Emma Roberts wore the same sweater whilst leaving a shoe repair store in LA last week. She also teamed her sweater with black jeans, adding Isabel Marant ‘Dicker’ ankle booties and a Miu Miu bag.

On Tuesday, Australian actress Isla Fisher teamed her sweater with a leather mini skirt.

Her tan bag interestingly matched her boots and the frame of her sunglasses.

I was torn between Emma and Isla.

I eventually went with Isla because I love the leather skirt.

Evan Rachel Wood attended the ‘The Ides of March’ London Film Festival premiere with co-star George Clooney last night.

She wore a black Emilio Pucci Fall 2011 belted jacket with a delicate lace trim which was paired with a simple black Prada skirt.

Red Ferragamo satin pumps and matching lips provided a delightful pop of colour to her black-on-black look.

There is something very Dita Von Teese about this look. Do you remember that phase?

Earlier in the day, Evan attended the photocall for the movie wearing an Alexa Chung for Madewell ‘Bunny’ dress.

Her black long-sleeved shirt dress with a white collar and cuffs was teamed with black tights and Gucci knee-high boots.

I feel like this look is a bit too cutesy for Evan, even with the edgy spiked Jennifer Behr headband, but it’s great she doesn’t pigeon hole herself with one look.

Katie Holmes made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night.

The actress who’s known for a preppy look opted for a more laidback look.

She wore a pair of Isabel Marant red jeans from the Fall 2010 collection, which we would expect from the likes of Kate Moss or Erin Wasson.

The jeans are doing nothing for her, but I like that she’s trying something different.

A Madewell Montauk mesh pullover over a white vest and Prada heels completed her look.

The thing I like most about this look is her hair.

Katie was on Leno to talk about her new movie, “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” as well as her super-hot Vogue España cover in which we see her channeling her inner dominatrix.

You may not recognise her straight away, but that’s Reese Witherspoon under the hat and sunglasses.

She spotted at in Brentwood last month wearing a Madewell floaty floral dress.

The V-neck floral chiffon dress has a smocked elastic banding at the waist and draping at the sides.

Reese paired her look with a khaki jacket and nude ankle strap heels.

Jessica Alba wore this same dress a few days later on vacation in Paris.

Despite the look being a lot less busy on Jessica, I much prefer Reese’s footwear so she wins for me.

This dress is available to purchase from Shopbop.com.
