Sandra Bullock In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Oscars

There have been a lot of head-turning looks this evening (March 4) at the 2018 Oscars in Hollywood, California, but when Sandra Bullock stepped out, I was left awestruck.

The presenter was clad in a custom Louis Vuitton gown which dazzled from every angle.

Sparkle is nothing out of the ordinary on the red carpet, but the shimmering pixelated effect of the silver and black bodice merging with the inky skirt projected such modernity and dynamism.

She also looks decades younger than her 53 years.

Zendaya Coleman In Giambattista Valli Couture – 2018 Oscars

Zendaya Coleman made such a statuesque entrance at the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

I was head over heels for how she commanded this Giambattista Valli Spring 2018 Couture chocolate-brown gown.

The colour isn’t always an easy one to breathe life into, but Z did just that with her regal stance and sleek topknot.

I can only imagine how diaphanous the movement of this dress was on her—as the runway presentation did display.

Bvlgari diamond jewels added a layer of all-out sparkling glamour to the proceedings.

Gina Rodriguez In Zuhair Murad Couture – 2018 Oscars

Gina Rodriguez was one of the beauties at the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood, joining Laura Dern, Taraji P. Henson and Ashley Judd.

The ‘Jane the Virgin’ star, who is on presenting duties this evening, enlivened the red carpet in a Zuhair Murad Spring 2018 Couture gown.

The voluminous style certainly didn’t lack drama or sparkle with the embellished belt cinching the sweeping layers of the skirt.

On many occasions, I’ve wished a dress had lining. Here, I actually wish the frock didn’t so it would have maintained the ethereal lightness it had on the runway. Her dress is still captivating, but some of the magic has been lost by the weighty appearance of the bottom.

Leslie Bibb In J.Mendel – 2018 Oscars

Leslie Bibb attended the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Los Angeles.

The actress and partner of nominee Sam Rockwell wore a black J.Mendel Pre-Fall 2018 with classic diamond drop earrings.

I love it when a gown looks like it was made specifically for a body, and boy does this ever! Leslie and this dress seem to embody each other, and each detail is superb from the pleated under layer to the lace panels under the arms.

Her braided, relaxed chignon is the perfect way to complete the total win of a look.

Viola Davis In Michael Kors Collection – 2018 Oscars

Viola Davis brought a big smile to my face upon stepping onto the red carpet at the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

I was craving a major colour moment, and the actress delivered in this vibrant Barbie-pink Michaal Kors Collection gown.

I love that she wasn’t afraid to have fun with this shimmering hue—not to mention her wave of curls—with Roger Vivier handbag perfection achieved in the embellished, matching clutch.

I have to wonder if her heels were also pretty in pink.

Taraji P. Henson In Vera Wang – 2018 Oscars

Taraji P. Henson turned plenty of heads at the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

She celebrated all of her assets in a custom Vera Wang chiffon gown that certainly turned up the heat.

From afar, I like the direction of the seductive romance of this look.

However, I feel as if the super-see-through component of the top area coupled with the dangerously high slit may have taken it a few steps too far into eyebrow-raising territory.

A dark plum lip coupled with Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals completed the effect.
