Cynthia Erivo In Luisa Beccaria – 2017 Grammy Awards

Cynthia Erivo attended the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA.

Most any look would have been deemed an improvement from her Pre-Grammy Gala outing, and this Luisa Beccaria Fall 2016 gown is indeed better.

She swapped a lack of fabric for an embarrassment of it in this romantic corset design with a frilled ball gown skirt.

I really wanted more from Tracee. She’s always been a fan of colour, so this felt a bit drab.

2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Glamour Woman of The Year Awards

There were many more lovely ladies besides Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington who attended the 2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

Gemma Chan: The British actress served up visual splendour wearing an Mary Katrantzou’s intricately printed ‘Cassandra’ dress. I’m glad she kept the spirit of this look alive with a moss-green clutch.

Gillian Anderson: There was a distinct lack of drama at this event, so up stepped Gillian Anderson wearing a nude caped gown by Australian couturier Paolo Sebastian. Some might find this a touch dated, but I’m too busy diverting my eyes away from the upper mid section.

Louise Redknapp: The British presenter usually finds herself at near the top of the my best dressed list, but that wasn’t to be the case on this occasion. While I loved the gorgeous cobalt-blue hue and her breakaway from the expected, this Proenza Schouler basket weave fringe dress fails to flatter, plus her pumps were really dull. The only plus side was the complementary Bottega Veneta clutch.

‘Sicario’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

‘Sicario’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup 1

Here is a roundup of some of the other attendees at the premiere of ‘Sicario’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 19) in Cannes, France.

Daria Strokous: Now this is what you call a princess dress. The model swept the red carpet in a heavenly Luisa Beccaria lavender ruffled tulle gown. I am thankful an obnoxious necklace didn’t ruin the look.

Doutzen Kroes: Jennifer Lawrence wore a better version of this Dior dress to the same festival 2 years ago, and it’s been done to death since then. This is so disappointing from the usually on-form Doutzen.

Glamour Women Of The Year Awards 2013

Glamour Women Of The Year Awards 2013

Here is a roundup of the rest of the looks from the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013, held at Berkeley Square Gardens in London on Tuesday evening.

Laura Whitmore: The Irish TV presenter wore a Carven collage-newsprint dress from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The A-line dress has plenty of personality and I’m glad to see she has just as much fun with the styling, adding a Sophia Webster ‘Speech’ Bubble clutch and bauble-accented heels by the same designer.

Myleene Klass: The singer/TV presenter glowed wearing a Rachel Gilbert hot-pink strapless frock styled with Stephen Webster jewels. She took home the Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Joanne Froggatt: Taking home the Best TV Actress award, Joanne opted for a fall-like hue when so many others were wearing summery frocks. Her maroon Alberta Ferretti dress was styled with metallic-silver Jimmy Choo pumps and a Christian Louboutin spiked clutch.

Mischa Barton In Luisa Beccaria – The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party

I can’t say I am much a fan of Mischa Barton’s style, but she did look very pretty whilst attending the annual Serpentine Gallery summer party held in Hyde Park, London, on Tuesday evening.

Dressed in a floor-sweeping Luisa Beccaria Spring 2012 gown, I would say this is the best she has looked in a very long while.

Her lightly lemon ruffled frock with a sheer yoke was styled with a shoulder bag, which I wish she’d carried as a clutch, a bold red lip colour, and a chic updo.

As much as I think this is an improvement style-wise, the gown would’ve looked better for me with the runway belt.

Hit or miss?
