Rooney Mara In Louis Vuitton – ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ Paris Premiere

YAY…we have our first bonafide red carpet premiere look of 2012 courtesy of Rooney Mara.

She picked up right where she left off in 2011 promoting ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ with a premiere in Paris this evening.

The actress, who appears to have had some red carpet posing coaching over the holidays, looked super confident on the red carpet wearing a black Louis Vuitton sleeveless dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

Her gorgeous dress with a bell-shaped skirt also has an embroidered and woven detail with gold embellishments which really sets it apart from the average LBD.

A black leather belt and Balmain strappy sandals provide the finishing touches, whilst she swept her blunt bangs to the side and added hot red lips for a pop of colour.

With her shoulders back and sexy glare, the shy timid star is no longer.

J’Adore this look from head-to-toe.

Who Wore Louis Vuitton Better? Emma Stone or Isabel Lucas

Back in March, Emma Stone attended the Louis Vuitton Fall 2011 presentation during Paris Fashion Week.

The then-blonde actress wore a wrap dress from the Pre-Fall 2011 collection with one half in a navy solid colour and the other a vibrant print.

Grey ankle boots and a tri-colour clutch completed her look.

Isabel Lucas wore the same dress when she attended the Louis Vuitton Maison Australia After Party in Sydney earlier this month.

The actress may be overly tanned and have over-processed hair, but I much prefer her accessories so she wins for me.

Elle Fanning In Louis Vuitton – ‘We Bought a Zoo’ New York Premiere

Elle Fanning attended the New York premiere of ‘We Bought a Zoo’ yesterday evening alongside Scarlett Johansson.

This is our fifth look at the Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 collection.

We were hoping one of the teens would give this collection a run-out, just to prove our theory that this collection wasn’t really designed for ‘grown women’.

I have to say she looks lovely in this organza and laser-cut lace dress, but I hate the shoes.

The dress is so feminine and charming, but the shoes are jarring. I wish she’d opted for something simple and delicate.

I also wish she’d pulled her hair back.

A ponytail would’ve worked so much better with this look, don’t you think?

Joely Richardson In Louis Vuitton – ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ World Premiere

Joely Richardson joined Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig on the red carpet in London tonight for world premiere of ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’.

The British actress donned a Louis Vuitton Fall 2011 look.

Her black and ivory lozenge embroidered dress was teamed with a black and red patent leather quilted clutch plus black LV peep-toes with a gold padlock detail.

Whilst she looked better in her LV Fall 2011 look than Lara Bingle, her hair doesn’t work on this occasion.

Joely always wears her hair down and behind the ears, but this look needed a chic bun.

Jessica Chastain In Louis Vuitton – ‘Another Happy Day’ Marrakech Film Festival

As much as I love Jessica Chastain, I find her red carpet style frustratingly inconsistent.

She has had some great red carpet moments, but this Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 dress which she wore to the Marrakech Film Festival premiere for ‘Another Happy Day’ is not one of them.

This peach colour is working against her skintone, as are those creased (despite being intentional) and that lopsided updo.

The only good thing about this look is that she didn’t opt for black pumps.

Only SJP has made good on this collection, Olivia Wilde and Cate Blanchett (forgive me) have failed to impress.
