Louis Vuitton Resort 2015 Front Row

LV1

The Place d’Armes in Monte Carlo, Monaco proved just the glossy venue for the Louis Vuitton Resort 2015 show, Nicolas Ghesquière’s second collection for the label, which was held on Saturday (May 17). A chic group of the designer’s darlings—many of whom have also been sighted at the Cannes Film Festival—were seated front and centre for the colourful, eclectic presentation, all correspondingly decked in looks from Vuitton’s Fall 2014 runway.

Jennifer Connelly: The actress trotted out a monochromatic dress with flared sleeves and skirt, accessorized with a small box clutch and patent-black statement booties. The mix of geometric shapes and cutouts, in addition to the armor-like collar overlays, was a lot to manage. Do you think she pulled it off?

Adele Exarchopoulos: Opting for a slightly sportier entrance, the French starlet wore a light lemon-hued zippered blouse with a statement white collar and black detailing. Shiny black leggings, a mini handbag and ankle-strap platform sandals completed her look.

Zhang Ziyi
: Bringing a bolder splash of colour to the proceedings, the Asian actress paired her cerulean-blue and black collared, zipper blouse with a deep eggplant A-line skirt, accented by a burgundy wrap belt.

America Ferrera In Louis Vuitton & Missoni – ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

America Ferrera In Louis Vuitton & Missoni - ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2? Cannes Film Festival Photocall

America Ferrera joined Cate Blanchett on the red carpet this afternoon (May 16) for the ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ photocall during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

As you know, I have been praying to the fashion gods for a while now for America to continue her delightfully colourful red carpet run, so at this moment I couldn’t feel more blessed as my prayers are clearly being answered.

Working a body-con silhouette, the actress wore a bright-yellow Louis Vuitton top with a neon-orange Missoni pencil skirt, which she styled with Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps in a nude hue with orange piping.

This fresh, clean daytime appearance is definitely one of my favourites of recent weeks.

Julianne Moore In Louis Vuittion – ‘Mr Turner’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Julianne Moore In Louis Vuittion - 'Mr Turner' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Julianne Moore took to the red carpet this evening (May 15) for the ‘Mr Turner’ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

Giving us our second custom Louis Vuitton look of the festival, the actress never fails to surprise me with how well she pulls off these edgier choices.

Her Fall 2014 inspired gown featured a corset in burgundy varnished leather with a spiral skirt in black embroidered satin.

Accessorizing Chopard jewels, a Louis Vuitton black ‘Epi Electric Petite Malle’ clutch and black LV patent leather belt, I think this fashion-forward look paid off.

Adele Exarchopoulos In Louis Vuitton – ‘Grace of Monaco’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Adele Exarchopoulos In Louis Vuitton - 'Grace of Monaco' Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

On the playground where we discovered her this time last year, Adele Exarchopoulos took to the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, which also served as the ‘Grace of Monaco’ premiere this evening (May 14).

The French actress wore a Louis Vuitton custom look which bears hallmarks – mostly the pleather bustier and trims – of the Fall 2014 collection.

Her glam look with a youthful edge was styled with a purposely messy side braid, shimmering silver eye makeup, dazzling Chopard diamond earrings and a Louis Vuitton clutch.

This was a perfect way to open her Cannes account.

Rosamund Pike In Louis Vuitton – 2014 Met Gala

Rosamund Pike In Louis Vuitton - 2014 Met Gala

Forgoing a gown, Rosamund Pike attended the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

Also somewhat forgoing the theme, like so many others, the British actress wore a Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 croc zipper vest paired with an embroidered spiral skirt.

Styling the look with Louis Vuitton ‘New Day’ pumps, a gold LV trunk necklace and Jennifer Fisher rings, this look is quite a side step for the Erdem-loving actress, who doesn’t normally toe an edgy line.

Did she pull the look off for you?

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – 2014 Met Gala

Michelle Williams joined the fashion elite on the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

The actress wore a shimmering Louis Vuitton dress from the Fall 2014 collection.

While there is no denying this dress is gorgeous, I can’t help but feel it is a bit lackluster next to some of the works-of-art that are going down the red carpet alongside Michelle.

Her coral lips and cheeks, chic bob and classic black pumps and clutch keep the entire look chic and understated.

What do you think? Do you appreciate Michelle’s simplistic approach to the night, or do you wish she had really wow’d us?

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – ‘Cabaret’ Broadway Opening Night After Party

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton - 'Cabaret' Broadway Opening Night After Party

Michelle Williams attended a party at Studio 54 in New York City on Thursday (April 24) to celebrate the Broadway Opening Night of ‘Cabaret’.

The blonde beauty wore one of her favourite brands, Louis Vuitton, selecting a Fall 2014 leather, suede and satin piece from Nicolas Ghesquière’s first collection for the French brand.

Her colour-block dress with a leather belt tied to the waist is perhaps an edgier look than we are used to seeing from the actress, but with her spunky hairstyle and heavy eyeliner she managed to pull it off.

Keeping the footwear simple with black pumps, she is the first person to wear a look from this collection without wearing the runway ankle boots.
