Charlotte Gainsbourg In Louis Vuitton – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Charlotte Gainsbourg In Louis Vuitton - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Charlotte Gainsbourg attended the 2014 British Fashion Awards on Monday (December 1), hosted at the London Coliseum in London, England.

One thing that can be said for the actress is that she is certainly one for consistency. No shock then that she rocked a head-to-toe Louis Vuitton look from the Spring 2015 collection.

LV designer Nicolas Ghesquiere won the International Designer award, so she was in good company celebrating her favoured label.

The cropped leather motorcycle jacket and patent ankle booties had Charlotte written all over them, as she downplayed the dazzle of the heavily sequined, zipper-front minidress with a dash of biker edge.

She didn’t rock the boat on her beauty look either, continuing her signature no makeup, messy hair standard.

Do you like her sartorial predictability, or are you ready to see something new?

2014 Whitney Gala

2014 Whitney Gala

The 2014 Whitney Gala presented by Louis Vuitton was at The Breuer Building on Wednesday (November 19) in New York City.

Riley Keough: The actress selected a look from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2015 collection. Just when I was starting to get fatigued by the collection, Riley selected one of the yet-to-be-worn pieces featuring mesh sleeves and a fur-trimmed placket. Knee-high boots replaced the booties, with the must-have Louis Vuitton Petite-Malle clutch rounding out this look.

Hilary Rhoda: The model looked simply stunning wearing a Pamella Roland Pre-Fall 2014 strapless gold embellishment gown which would look good at any time, but especially during the festive season. As if the gown didn’t glisten enough, she styled her look with a pair of dangerous-looking spiked earrings.

Padma Lakshmi: Looking as glamorous as ever, the TV Chef host never puts a foot wrong. Wearing a simple cream gown accented with appliqués, she added just a cuff and silver earrings to enhance this look. Makeup-wise she opted for a nude lip with smoky eyes for an altogether different look.

Olga Kurylenko In Louis Vuitton - Liberatum Cultural Honour for Francis Ford Coppola

Olga Kurylenko attended the Liberatum Cultural Honour for Francis Ford Coppola held at The Bulgari Hotel on Monday (November 17) in London, England.

The actress, known for her love for all pretty dresses – usually of the Dior variety – opted for an edgier look on this occasion.

She wore a Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 part-varnished leather part-tweed dress which, of course, had to be styled with the brand’s booties, opting for black over the tan ones we saw on the runway.

Perhaps the new red hair has given her a new attitude, and I for one, despite my LV fatigue, really like this refreshing look for Olga.

Do you?

You may remember that Jennifer Connelly, naturally, wore a modified long-sleeve version of this dress back in March.

Julianne Moore In Louis Vuitton – ‘Still Alice’ AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Julianne Moore In Louis Vuitton - - 'Still Alice' AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Julianne Moore joined Kristen Stewart on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre on Wednesday (November 12) in Hollywood, California for the AFI FEST ‘Still Alice’ premiere.

Following her chic showing at ‘The Hunger Games’ world premiere on Monday, the actress was back to wearing black, this time wearing a head-to-toe look from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2015 collection. It seems that Natalia Vodianova was the only one allowed to get away with wearing her LV look without those boots.

Despite not being a fan of recent LV red carpet looks, this look, which is simple in design yet edgy, is beautifully presented by Ms Moore. I wouldn’t change a thing, plus I just love how Julianne and Kristen complemented each other.

You may remember that Catherine Deneuve wore the same dress in red a few days ago.

Natalia Vodianova attended the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 10) in New York City.

The model wore a Louis Vuitton Resort 2015 look consisting of a floral-print jacket with pale-yellow trousers.

I never pictured Natalia in this collection as her red carpet style appears to be more conservative; however, I found myself really enjoying this change of pace for her, plus I’m delighted to see an LV look without a pair of those ugly boots.

With her favourite brand, Dior, incorporated into her look, she added Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Bagatelle’ white-gold and diamond earrings to provide the finishing touches.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Celebration

Louis Vuitton Monogram Celebration

A host of stars joined Nicole Kidman on the red carpet for the Louis Vuitton Monogram celebration held at the Museum of Modern Art on Friday (November 7) in New York City.

Miranda Kerr: As you know, the model has been trying to shake off her known for style and present much edgier red carpet looks. While Miranda might be just wearing a sheer top and printed skirt from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2015 collection, she’s not selling this look to me as she doesn’t strike me as an LV girl under the helm of Nicolas Ghesquière. The LV Fall 2013 or LV Spring 2013 collections are more suited to her ultra-femme style.

Jennifer Connelly: The actress is still going full steam ahead with the Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 collection, wearing a trompe l’oeil mini dress with lace tights and boots while carrying an LV minaudière. While I can’t deny how great she does look, I can’t help thinking how terribly bored her stylist must be at the moment to be working in such narrow confinement.

Charlotte Gainsbourg: Between Jennifer and Charlotte this LV Spring 2015 collection will be used up by Christmas, which might not be such a bad thing. Like a true Ghesquière disciple the French actress wore the runway look in its entirety, and while I have a been-there done-that feeling about this look, she’s working the hell out of it, therefore forcing me to buy what she’s selling.
