Alicia Vikander In Louis Vuitton – ‘Tomb Raider’ Stockholm Premiere

Alicia Vikander returned to her motherland – Sweden – for the premiere for the reboot of the action-adventure film ‘Tomb Raider’ on Wednesday (March 7) in Stockholm.

If you were expecting Alicia to go the Gal Gadot warrior princess route in honor of Lara Croft for this promo tour, you may be disappointed.

Alicia continues to opt for delicate ladylike elegance in Louis Vuitton.

Her London premiere gown married a feminine aesthetic with an edgier silhouette, but this chiffon dress with shimmering jacquard paneling is prim with a dash of bohemian spirit.

This doesn’t have the same gravitas as the London look, but fits her to a tee.

Alicia Vikander In Louis Vuitton – ‘Tomb Raider’ London Premiere

There will be no surprises that Alicia Vikander was donning Louis Vuitton for the ‘Tomb Raider’ London premiere on Tuesday (March 6).

As was the case with the Berlin leg of the promo tour, she offered up a quite feminine take on the LV label here.

She was a vision in this Asian floral gown, the sculpted shoulder of which was such a cool exclamation point to the look.

I love how her geometric earrings and cuff along with the warrior-edgy braid completed the look with a flourish of modern girl power.

What about you?

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Fall 2018

Nicolas Ghesquière debuted his latest offering for the Louis Vuitton Fall 2018 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (March 6), with a number of the designer devotees in attendance.

Sienna Miller: After attending the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party this past Sunday, Sienna was back on the fashion front row here. Her casual look was full of ’70s, boho charm with the ruffled top and high-waist, cropped denim—topped off with a ladylike finish in her stacked pumps and black-and-white handbag—although I can see some questioning the stark contrast of hues against her outfit.

Jennifer Connelly: I know there was an intentional long and languid aesthetic to these separates, but between the sleeves and the hem, both seemed just a bit too droopy.

Emma Stone: As the latest brand ambassador—also fresh from the Oscars—Emma represented the LV label more successfully here in this paisley frock. I like the unexpected twist to the girlish offering with the peplum jacket, and the additional edginess delivered via the over-the-knee boots.

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

It’s fair to say we were bitterly disappointed by Emma Stone’s Louis Vuitton suit the 2018 Oscars on Sunday night.

The actress had a chance to redeem herself at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but failed to take the opportunity.

I found myself completely dumbfounded by this second Louis Vuitton offering.

Firstly, it feels too twee for someone of her stature. I would’ve brought this on Elle Fanning.

Secondly, it feels casual for the event, even if it was a party frock.

And finally, I’m not a fan of the design.

As a returning Best Actress winner I had high hopes, however, I guess she wanted to take a back seat.

This is heart-breaking, quite frankly.

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Oscars

Emma Stone was also at the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

Opting to go against the gown grain, her custom Louis Vuitton pantsuit made an impact simply by virtue of it not being a dress.

That said, I really liked this look especially from the waist up. The deep ruby-burgundy blazer, punctuated by the magenta-pink ribbon belt and her flame locks, was a stunning revelation.

With the trousers, she lost me a bit, perhaps because at some angles, I questioned the baggier fit. I have to imagine it was intentional, though, on the basis of the ensemble being custom.

Louis Vuitton high jewelry completed the dynamic look.

Sandra Bullock In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Oscars

There have been a lot of head-turning looks this evening (March 4) at the 2018 Oscars in Hollywood, California, but when Sandra Bullock stepped out, I was left awestruck.

The presenter was clad in a custom Louis Vuitton gown which dazzled from every angle.

Sparkle is nothing out of the ordinary on the red carpet, but the shimmering pixelated effect of the silver and black bodice merging with the inky skirt projected such modernity and dynamism.

She also looks decades younger than her 53 years.

Margot Robbie In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Margot Robbie attended the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (March 3) in Santa Monica, California.

The ‘I, Tonya’ actress’s awards season run has been impeccable.

This Louis Vuitton dress translated as a fun, vibrant look – perfect for the occasion – yet, I can’t say it’s one of her best.

I think I would’ve liked this more had it not been for the animal print.
