Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton - 'Grand Central' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Lea Seydoux attended the Cannes Film Festival premiere of her latest movie ‘Grand Central’ which took place at the Palais des Festivals in France this evening.

She looked stunning wearing periwinkle blue Louis Vuitton custom-made bustier gown featuring the same degrade sequin detailing we saw on several pieces in the Fall 2013 collection with a signature Louis Vuitton bow at the back of the ivory silk satin bustier

Silver Jimmy Choo pumps provided a touch more sparkle to her look, as did her Louis Vuitton jewels.

After sporting a light, careful beauty look for her photocall earlier in the day, the French actress worked dark rouge lip on this occasion.

As expected, she didn’t let me down.

Berenice Bejo In Louis Vuitton - 'Le Passe' Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Berenice Bejo makes a return to Cannes Film Festival after serving as Mistress of Ceremonies at last year’s event.

The French actress attended a photocall this afternoon at the Palais des Festivals to promote her latest movie, ‘Le Passe’.

Berenice, one of the early adopters of the Louis Vuitton chequered trend, selected a French fashion brand’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

Her bold-hued look featured a ribbon-tied sleeveless blouse with a button-accented bib, plus matching pants with a black panel going down both sides.

Those Louis Vuitton sparkling toe-cap heels keep finding their way onto the red carpet since making their debut a few seasons ago, and I don’t see their popularity waning any time soon.

Like Freida Pinto and Fan Bingbing before her, Berenice completed her look with a braided updo.

Sofia Coppola In Louis Vuitton - 'The Bling Ring' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Sofia Coppola attended the premiere of ‘The Bling Ring’ alongside Emma Watson during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals in France this evening.
The director didn’t give us any surprises.

She wore an understated – non-chequered – piece from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 collection which featured front patch pockets.

Louis Vuitton black sandals and a LV minaudière which sparkled as subtly as her dress, provided the finishing touches to her look.

Opening Ceremony And 'The Great Gatsby' Premiere - The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Fan Bingbing joined in the celebration of ‘The Great Gatsby’ Cannes Film Festival premiere, which also served as the opening ceremony.

Sadly, she didn’t use the occasion to showcase one of her countrymen’s Asian-inspired creations like she has done for the past three years at the opening ceremony; instead she wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown.

This is the first time the French fashion house has created a gown especially for an Asian actress.

The duchess satin strapless gown with a grey and red sequined bodice was styled with a Louis Vuitton minaudière and Chopard jewels.

Do you wish Fan Bingbing had kept up her opening ceremony tradition or are you too swept away by the lusciousness of the gown to consider this an issue?

Model @ The 2013 Met Gala

Here is a roundup of the models who took to the red carpet at the 2013 Met Gala on Monday night.

Cara Delevingne: Wearing Burberry, the British model nailed the theme, working a studded navy column dress with a plunging neckline. Her part-braided ‘do and studded clutch perfected her look. She was easily one of the best on the night.

Gisele Bundchen: The model wore an Anthony Vaccarello Fall 2013 black mini dress with revealing grommet detailing. You slammed Gwyneth for wearing a gown with sheer sides; does Gisele get a pass?

Karlie Kloss: I never thought I would say this about Karlie: she looks frumpy. Ever since she chopped off her locks she has lost her mojo. This Louis Vuitton granny-chic look ages her about 40 years. Betty White would look better in this frock.

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte - 2013 Met Gala

Kirsten Dunst looked surprisingly sexy during her walk down the Met Gala red carpet.

The usually demure actress wore a belted, hunter green Louis Vuitton gown with a plunging neckline and ombré feathering on the skirt.

I don’t know if it’s just that Kirsten is typically so covered up, but I find this look quite crass. With both front cleavage and side boob showing, it seems much too revealing, and while everything that’s showing is perfect fit and perky, the dress isn’t particularly flattering.

The star sticks to her standard in the beauty department with subtle makeup save for a matte coral lip and loose waves in her hair–a relief after this gown.

While this is certainly the event for taking fashion risks, I just can’t get on board with this look for Kirsten.

Do you agree that there is just too much revealed, or do you like her risque look?
