Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 Mens

There were a host of stars who joined Rihanna in the front row of Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2019 men’s show in Paris, France on Thursday afternoon (June 21).

ASAP Rocky: You may be distracted by the pearls and the man bag, but if you look at the close up of the rappers suit, you can see the it’s completely embossed with LV logo and is tailored to perfection.

Bella Hadid: Supporting her good friend Virgil Abloh, the model went for a sporty look paired with pumps, but that wasn’t the weird part. That was reserved for her hip bag which was also attached to her leg.

Chadwick Boseman: If you are looking for simple elegant with a sporty twist, look no further than Chadwick Boseman.

Rihanna In Louis Vuitton – Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 Menswear Show

Rihanna was in Paris, France this afternoon (June 21) for the first Louis Vuitton menswear show under the creative direction of Virgil Abloh.

When I saw the singer in this white Louis Vuitton jumpsuit my thoughts were:

1. So close.

2. Too big…again.

3. Was she giving her Hospital Orderly Halloween costume a run-out before October?

4. Noooo. To the plastic bag. Which meant she had carry an explorer sling bag to protect her valuables.

Had this fit, this would’ve been a cool outfit, sans plastic bag.

Buccellati jewels and white shades completed her look.

Cate Blanchett In Louis Vuitton – ‘Ocean’s 8’ London Premiere

Cate Blanchett was joined by her son on the red carpet this evening (June 13) for the ‘Ocean’s 8’ London premiere.

On this occasion she opted not to wear a suit, but her Louis Vuitton Resort 2019 look did feature trousers, so her 100% trousered run was still firmly intact on this promo tour.

It wasn’t until I saw the close up of this woolly mammoth top did I get to appreciate the finer details of shimmering beads and sequins entwined within the feathers.

Had Cate not been the wearer, it would’ve taken Jesus himself to make me like this look, but part of her charm is that she can make just about anything work.

Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton – Roland Garros

Lea Seydoux was at Roland Garros on Sunday (June 10) to unveil the Musketeers Cup at the Men’s French open which was encased in a custom designed Louis Vuitton trunk, prior to the mens singles final between Rafael Nadal of Spain and Dominic Thiem of Austria.

The actress wore a Louis Vuitton Fall 2018 look, opting to take a leaf out of Cate Blanchett’s “it’s chic to repeat” book, by pairing the ivory blouse she wore to the Cannes Film Festival jury photocall, with a flirtatious black mini skirt.

Embellished shades and strappy sandals adds a youth edge to her ‘girl-about-Paris’ look.

Did the styling sell you on this look? Or are you still pining for Lea/Miu Miu/Prada?

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – LVMH Prize 2018 Edition

Emma Stone attended the LVMH Prize 2018 Edition today (June 6) in Paris, France.

The power suit trend continues into the Resort 2019 season it would seem, as Emma rock this hot off-the-runway look from Louis Vuitton.

I feel like Emma was taking a cue from Melanie Griffith’s character in “Working Girl,” as her black and white bold shoulder suit is feminine in style, fun with the leather braces and achingly chic from head-to-toe.

I know many of you have vowed not to support the Stone x LV union, but for me, this is her best look to date in a Nicolas Ghesquiere look.

Could the tide be turning?
