Paula Patton In Lorena Sarbu - Film Independent Spirit Awards 2014

Paula Patton attended the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards at Santa Monica Beach on Saturday (March 1) in Santa Monica, California.

The ‘About Last Night’ actress was all smiles as she hit the red carpet; glowing in a bright yellow mini Lorena Sarbu dress with a floral lace overlay.

Nude Christian Louboutin pumps and Anito Ko jewels accessorized her look, with neutral makeup providing the finishing touch.

While we love Paula, we’ve often criticized her style; but this is, without question, one of her best red carpet looks in a while. Fancy that.

Aimee Garcia In Lorena Sarbu - 'Robocop' LA Premiere

Aimee Garcia attended the LA premiere of ‘Robocop’ on Monday (February 10) in Hollywood, California, joining Olivia Munn and Abbie Cornish.

The actress wore a white high-neck silk-crepe gown with black lace panels from Lorena Sarbu’s Spring 2014 collections styled with Jacob & Co, jewels.

While the dress isn’t particularly groundbreaking, it is very pretty, creates a lovely silhouette and hugs her body in all the right places.

Side-swept wavy tresses and kohl-rimmed eyes topped off this picture-perfect look.

Andie MacDowell & Rainey Qualley In Lorena Sarbu - Prix Montblanc 2013

Andie MacDowell and daughter Rainey Qualley attended the Prix Montblanc 2013 held at Konzerthaus Am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin, Germany on Wednesday evening.

Andie Macdowell: The actress wore a Lorena Sarbu cap-sleeve blush tulle gown with lace appliqué. The colour is heavenly against her skin tone and I love the complementary accessories which included a Swarovski gold crystal ‘Reverbere’ clutch and Montblanc jewels.

Rainey Qualley: Andie’s daughter opted for something more fiery, wearing a red one-shoulder silk-chiffon gown also by Lorena Sarbu, featuring a tiny cut-out detail. Like mother, like daughter, Rainey also selected Montblanc jewels and a Swarovski clutch.

Having major hair envy here.

New York Film Festival Roundup

Here is a roundup of those who took to the red carpet yesterday evening for the ‘All Is Lost’, ’12 Years A Slave’ & ‘Nebraska’ premieres during the 51st New York Film Festival held at Alice Tully Hall.

Sarah Paulson: Wearing all black, the actress donned a signature Vivienne Westwood shimmering off-the-shoulder frock which I’m sure they will still be producing in 20 years’ time.

Carla Gugino: The same applies to Carla’s animal-print Dolce & Gabbana frock, which she styled with gold-metallic pumps.

Connie Britton: The ‘Nashville’ star kept it simple in a black ASOS body-conscious dress, adding Monique Lhuillier pointy pumps to add interest to her look.

Ashley Dyke: While the actress’s Lorena Sarbu open-weave copper sequin net gown styled with Pomellato jewels might be considered OTT considering the styles of what everyone else wore last night, at least we haven’t been-there-and-done-that, nor is it an LBD relying on footwear to make it interesting.
