2015 Grammy Awards Men Red Carpet Roundup

Grammys mens

A handful of gents made waves at the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 8) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, where their looks carried some eclectic personality, yet still fell in a rather safe camp for such a night.

Kanye West: Striking a tough, hands-in-pockets pose, the rapper and nominee accentuated the aloof attitude in a Balmain Homme suit, worn shirtless with a slight slouch to the pants. It all made sense until I saw the weathered pair of black cowboy boots, which was the unexpected, rebel twist. Yay or nay to the boots?

Jay Z: The music mogul was dressed to impress in a Burberry modern-fit English-woven wool and mohair tuxedo in an inky blue hue with a black silk contrast shawl collar. He couldn’t have looked sharper if he tried.

: Taking a monochromatic, all-black approach, the rapper and multiple nominee wore a well-tailored Givenchy suit that he pulled off handsomely enough to not appear too one-note.

Amy Adams In Lanvin – 2015 BAFTAs

Amy Adams In Lanvin - 2015 BAFTAs

Amy Adams attended the 2015 BAFTAs held at The Royal Opera House on Sunday (February 8) in London, England.

The actress wore a custom-made Lanvin crepe cape sleeve column silk gown created by Alber Elbaz.

Immaculately white and deceptively simple, this stunning gown was prized for its crystal beaded mid-section and tassel belt.

I just love how incredibly modern and chic this look feels. It looks like those enchanted moments we’ve loved for so long are gone for good.

Dianna Agron was the surprise attendee to grace the red carpet for the 2015 BAFTAs held at The Royal Opera House on Sunday (Feb. 8) in London, England.

The ‘Glee’ star wore a spotlight-stealing Lanvin strapless gown in a steady crimson shade. Loaded with subtle creativity, it showcased a petal sweetheart neck and elegant tonal grosgrain sash.

Styled with a gold cuff and black decorative pumps, this look was much improved on her previous red carpet outing.

Natalie Portman In Lanvin – ‘The Seventh Fire’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Natalie Portman In Lanvin - 'The Seventh Fire' Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Natalie Portman attended ‘The Seventh Fire’ premiere and panel discussion during the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival held at Haus der Berliner Festspiele on Saturday (February 7) in Berlin, Germany.

The actress wore a Lanvin Pre-Fall 2015 long sleeve, brown and black animal print effect cloqué dress with a crystal embroidered bib.

The bib places this dress in a premiere-worthy category plus it helps prevent this look from being a total snooze.

Had this been tea-length I may have found a way to become more excited about this look.

Who Wore Lanvin Better…Emma Stone or Paloma Faith?

Who Wore Lanvin Better Emma Stone or Paloma Faith

Emma Stone wore a Lanvin Fall 2014 black strapless faux-leather dress accented with a military-style belt for the Paris premiere of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise Of Electro’ back in April.

Paloma Faith, who usually pledges her allegiance to all things Dolce & Gabbana, wore the same frock to the BBC Music Awards back in December, pairing her look with fiery red and black pumps.

I was never a fan of Emma’s ankle-strap pumps with this look, so Paloma wins for me.

Gwyneth Paltrow In Lanvin – ‘Mortdecai’ LA Premiere

Gwyneth Paltrow In Lanvin - 'Mortdecai' LA Premiere

Gwyneth Paltrow attended the premiere of ‘Mortdecai’ held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (January 21) in Hollywood, California, after deciding the skip the European leg of this promo tour.

The actress wore a Lanvin Spring 2015 stone-blue gown with many interesting features including a twisted back and a wide blue leather belt.

Unmistakably the colour is divine on Gwyneth, but my issue is the way the dress sat.

With just a little adjustment on the right-hand side, the look would’ve had a perfect streamlined effect instead gaping under the arm.

Styled with Lanvin soft blue python sandals with pearl details and David Webb jewels, this was almost perfect – despite the never-changing hairstyle.
