2010 National Movie Awards – Diane Kruger In Lanvin

Diane Kruger was one of the many star guests to walk the red carpet at the 2010 National Movie Awards in London last night.

She opted for a metallic gold Lanvin Fall 2010 dress paired with Lanvin chain embellished pumps from the Spring 2010 collection.

It took me a while to figure out why I disliked this look, until I settled on the fact that I really hate the bronze belt.

This dress already has so much going on with the necklace, the feathers and the embellishments on the dress, the look really didn’t need an extra element to an already fairly busy look.

Do you think she over cooked it?

NEON Charity Gala – Jennifer Lopez In Lanvin

Jennifer Lopez arrived on the red carpet for the NEON Charity Gala in aid of the IRIS Foundation at the Capital City in Moscow, Russia last night with her husband Marc Anthony.

Despite some not approving of Janet Jackson and Jennifer Lopez’ new found love for Lanvin, they have been wearing the collection better than many actresses on the red carpet.

Jennifer wore the same Lanvin Spring 2010 one-sleeve dress which Demi Moore wore a few months ago in a gorgeous chocolate colour. The difference is Jennifer pulled off her look.

As much as I love the look with the slick back hair and the Christian Louboutin clutch, I do wish she opted for different coloured Sergio Rossi heels.

“Why Did I Get Married Too?” London Premiere – Janet Jackson In Lanvin

Actress/singer Janet Jackson looked stunning as she showed off her new short haircut on Friday at the London premiere of her new movie “Why Did I Get Married Too?”

Her fabulous new haircut makes the 44 year old look younger – not that she’s aged since the 80s anyway.

I do love her Lanvin Fall 2010 grey ensemble, but you won’t be surprised to know that I’m not fond of the bra showing through her sheer top.

It feels so tacky for such a chic look.

It wouldn’t have hurt nor pulled the look down has she lined the top.

Other than that she does look great.

I really love the gold accessories which include Lanvin Fall 2010 metallic pumps, Lanvin chain strap bag and Lanvin Spring 2010 bracelets. All much more appealing than black.

2010 Cannes Film Festival: “Outside Of The Law” Premiere – Kristin Scott Thomas In Lanvin

Kristin Scott Thomas went for a dark mysteriously moody look on the red carpet for the “Outside Of The Law” Cannes Film Festival Premiere.

The British actress wore a charcoal grey Lanvin Spring 2010 dress.

I love the way she holds her train, but I’m mesmerized by her medusa necklace as it adds a touch a spice to her look.

This is very different from what we usually see from Kristen as the look has a lot of personality, and she looks like she’s happy to be there.

2010 Cannes Film Festival: “Certified Copy” Premiere & Photocall – Juliette Binoche In Lanvin & Givenchy

French actress Juliette Binoche would’ve felt very much at home on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of her new movie, “Certified Copy”.

She wore a Lanvin Spring 2010 gold lame dress which has to be my least favourite look on the red carpet so far.

I love that she supported French brand, but the dress is doing her zero favours.

I’m not sure what going on around her waist, but it’s not flattering plus the gathered detail looks like it’s caught it the mess that’s going on around her waist.

The Lanvin ankle strap heels are making her look like she’s got cankles.

The curse of the Lanvin Spring 2010 collection on the red carpet strikes again.

At the photocall earlier today Juliette opted for a Givenchy Spring 2010 ensemble with Givenchy open-toe heels.

Again it’s great that she supported another French brand, but Rebecca Hall wore this same look last month so any excitement about seeing this look has be nullified with de ja vu.

The American Cancer Society’s Choose You Launch Luncheon – Ellen Pompeo In Lanvin & Stella McCartney

It was a fashionable double whammy for Ellen Pompeo yesterday.

Last night she attended the “American Cancer Society’s Choose You luncheon” at Cafe SFA at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City.

She opted for a smart but casual Lanvin denim dress from the Resort 2010 collection which I absolutely adore.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress swept her hair to one side so we could appreciate the denim rosette corsage on her shoulder.

I don’t usually associate Lanvin with denim, but this is a refreshing take on their trademark one-shoulder style dress.

Pink Sergio Rossi heels complete the look.

Earlier in the day Ellen hosted the American Cancer Society’s launch of the ‘Choose You Movement’ in Time Square, New York.

She looked very presentable and event appropriate wearing a Stella McCartney frilled peplum jacket from the Spring 2010 collection.

You may remember her former co-star Kate Walsh wore this same jacket a few weeks ago.

Ellen completed her look with a simple white top, a grey skirt and beige Sergio Rossi heels.
