Hillary Scott In Lanvin – 2014 American Country Countdown Awards

Hillary Scott In Lanvin - 2014 American Country Countdown Awards

Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum attended the 2014 American Country Countdown Awards held at the Music City Center on Monday (December 15) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer opted for a sumptuous, siren-hued red Lanvin jersey dress with a scintillating V neckline and knotted detail defining her waist.

Styled with a black and gold clutch, this is one for Hillary’s Hall of Fame. I am captivated by this colour on her.

You may remember that Demi Lovato wore this same gown to the 2014 VMAs with a lot more cleavage, tonal styling and va-va-voom.

Paloma Faith In Lanvin – BBC Music Awards

Paloma Faith In Lanvin - BBC Music Awards

Paloma Faith attended the BBC Music Awards held at Earls Court Exhibition Centre on Thursday (December 11) in London, England.

Known for wearing Dolce after Dolce, the singer changed the habit of a lifetime to don this leather Lanvin Fall 2014 strapless dress accented with a military-style wide belt.

I love the styling of the look with touches of red, especially within her patterned pumps.

Usually sporting a blonde and flame-red hair combo, the singer has gone for a switch, opting just for blonde.

You may remember that Emma Stone wore this same Lanvin dress back in April while promoting the ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise Of Electro’, but hers was shorter length.

Emily Blunt In Lanvin – IWC Filmmakers Awards

Emily Blunt In Lanvin - IWC Filmmakers Awards
Emily Blunt attended the IWC Filmmaker Award Night 2014, held on day two of the 11th annual Dubai International Film Festival, at The One & Only Royal Mirage on Thursday (December 11) in Dubai.

Wearing an improved look over her first Dubai film fest outing the day before, the actress and IWC Ambassador donned a Lanvin Resort 2015 lace gown.

The rich emerald-green colour was striking, and the semi-sheer effect helped achieve a certain and much-needed lightness to the more bottom-heavy silhouette of the dress.

Matching gemstone earrings continued the monochromatic theme, with the requisite IWC watch rounding out the styling although perhaps not in the most ideal way.

Menswear Midweek Red Carpet Roundup

Men 3 december

Here is a quick roundup of the men who have suited up in the name of fashion and movie premieres so far this week.

David Beckham: The former soccer star wore a Dior Homme wool and silk shawl-collar tuxedo. Black on black on black never looked so good. I love how he added a World AIDS Day red ribbon in support of the charity and his wife Victoria Beckham, who is a UNAIDS ambassador, while attending the British Fashion Awards.

Orlando Bloom: While the hair is a tad girlified for my liking, one can’t fault the British actor’s navy blue Lanvin silk shawl-collar tuxedo worn to the world premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ on Monday alongside Evangeline Lilly.

Harry Styles: Always looking very sharp, Harry wore a red vertical-striped suit from Lanvin’s Fall 2014 collection. Probably committing something of a fashion faux pas wearing a French brand to the British Fashion Awards, who has time to nitpick when this mod look suits his style to a T?

Olivia Munn In Lanvin – 2014 American Music Awards

Olivia Munn In Lanvin - 2014 American Music Awards

Olivia Munn was at the 2014 American Music Awards, hosted on Sunday (November 23) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The actress also worked the metallic trend in a Lanvin gold-draped lamé Resort 2015 gown, the silhouette of which was a familiar for the evening with its plunge neckline and high front slit.

Accented with a Lanvin crystal eagle leather belt—which was my favourite part of the look—the dress was languid-luxe glamour at its finest. Towering black Lanvin heels would have been better exchanged for something less chunky.

Melissa Kaye earrings, Norman Silverman bangles, and an EFFY ring were another moment of embellishment, while a casually swept-back updo and an intense oxblood lip finished the dramatic effect.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

The male stars of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ took to the red carpet for the LA premiere held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Monday (November 17) in Los Angeles, California plus some other gents grace the red carpet with their presence yesterday evening.

Liam Hemsworth: The actor wore Dolce & Gabbana again, this time wearing a striped charcoal three-piece suit with a light-grey shirt and skinny tie. While there is no denying how sharp he looks, I prefer him clean shaven. He’s looking considerably older here.

Benedict Cumberbatch: The Dolce & Gabbana-clad actor was not only joined on the red carpet for the ‘The Imitation Game’ New York premiere by his co-star Keira Knightley, but also by the woman who broke a million hearts, his fiance Director Sophie Hunter who looked divine wearing an Erdem floral print Resort 2015 gown.
