2013 NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet Round Up

Here are a few looks I missed from the 2013 NAACP Image Awards which took place on Friday evening at the Shrine Auditorium in California.

Tatyana Ali: The gorgeous actress, who will always be Ashley Banks in my eyes, wore a beautiful printed cowl-back gown by Kevan Hall. The amethyst Rococo-print silk charmeuse gown was styled with a Lauren Merkin reptilian clutch and Mikimoto jewels. Curled hair and a berry lip colour completed her look.

Sandra Oh: Sporting tight curly tresses, the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star looked stunning wearing a forest-green vintage Halston draped gown with an open back and leather waistband accent. A selection of gold and silver link-chain bracelets, rings and a black glitter clutch accessorized her look.

Meagan Good: The actress looked very, very good wearing a Catherine Malandrino Fall 2012 gown from the designer’s Black Label collection. Her dark-violet one-sleeved gown, with a light ruffle cascading from the knotted waist, was one of the more vibrant looks to take to the red carpet. Barely-there makeup and silver glitter heels provided the finishing touches.

Meagan is the best of the three in my eyes. The colour is so hypnotic.

Alison Pill In Kevan Hall – HBO’s ‘The Newsroom’ Premiere

Alison Pill, star of HBO’s ‘The Newsroom’, attended HBO’s New Series ‘Newsroom’ LA Premiere at ArcLight Cinemas’ Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California, on Wednesday evening.

The actress wore her second Kevan Hall gown in a row.

Last time out she wore an angelic ivory gown; on this occasion she looked chic wearing a modern black matte jersey fitted sheath accented with leather geometric embroidery.

Usally I’m not a fan of ankle boots, but there is something about these Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Elli’ black glitter mesh ankle boots which gives this look a youthful edge.

Dazzling statement earrings and a pretty pink lip colour completed her look.

Alison Pill In Kevan Hall – ‘To Rome With Love’ Los Angeles Film Festival Premiere

It must have been a daunting prospect for Alison Pill to take the red carpet alongside her ‘To Rome With Love’ co-star Penelope Cruz at the LA Film Festival premiere yesterday evening, but it looks like she more than held her own.

Alison looked radiant wearing a Kevan Hall dress.

The pretty alabaster point d’esprit tulle ballerina bustier dress was styled with beige coloured accessories including Jerome C. Rousseau pumps, a metallic lizard Lauren Merkin ‘Lucy’ clutch and a belt which nipped in her waist.

Swarovski jewelry, red lippie and wavy blonde locks completed her look.

Jordin Sparks In Kevan Hall – 2012 CMT Music Awards

Jordin Sparks joined fellow ‘American Idol’ winner Carrie Underwood on the red carpet for the 2012 CMT Music Awards, held in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday evening.

The singer wore a fluttery chiffon Kevan Hall gown in shades of coral.

Her gown combines ombre, cold-shoulder flutter sleeves, ruched detailing, a cascading ruffle and a flowing train.

Opting for a nude lip colour, the singer completed her look with tousled waves and a silver bracelet.

On The Set Of Desperate Housewives With Vanessa Williams In Kevan Hall

Vanessa Williams was spotted with co-star Eva Longoria filming scenes for the last season of ‘Desperate Housewives’ last week in LA.

Eva is pretty in purple, whilst Vanessa looks stunning wearing a Kevan Hall Spring 2012 bridal gown from the designer’s White Label collection.

The ivory tulle bustier gown with rosebud embroidery is styled with an embellished veil with a large floral detail.

From these scenes it’s hard to judge whether Vanessa is a runaway bride or desperate to get to the church on time.

I guess we will have to tune in to find out.

Jordin Sparks In Kevan Hall – Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XIII

Jordin Sparks looked stunning as she joined Miley Cyrus on the red carpet for Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XVII on Saturday night in Phoenix, Arizona.

The singer wore a Kevan Hall Spring 2012 gown.

Her leopard-print silk-chiffon halter gown with black macrame accents is one of her best looks to date.

As you know I have a very soft spot for leopard print, so you won’t be surprised to know that I think Jordin looks sensational here. The colours are beautiful and the style complements her womanly figure.

It’s not just the dress that is blowing me away; Jordin’s makeup is flawless, opting for neutral shades and a glossy pink lip colour.

A sleek ponytail completed her look.
