2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) in Santa Monica, California.

Yara Shahidi: The ‘Black-ish’ star continues to set the standard wearing a custom Tory Burch ice blue pin-striped blazer and wide leg trouser combo. The look felt fresh from the colour to the obi style wrap belt.

Storm Reid: The ‘ A Wrinkle in Time’ actress always serves up girlie fashion in the most adorable way, and that was very much the case with her Viktor and Rolf Soir Spring 2018 bow accented dress and silver Schutz sandals combo.

Aubrey Plaza: When it comes to this Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2018 dress it’s the sleeves that want to garner the most attention, but they are upstaged by the oversized bows and micro length. Jimmy Choo pumps completed the look.

Kristen Bell In Julien Macdonald – 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards

Mandy Moore wasn’t the only one doing something new at the 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) in Santa Monica, California, Kristen Bell was too.

Julien Macdonald is a designer loved by the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Alessandra Ambrosio – ladies who aren’t afraid to show a bit of skin – so this was a surprising choice for Kristen.

Unfortunately, she didn’t sell this knitted dress to me and I didn’t find this it particularly flattering on her either.

She can do so much better.

Ciara In Julien Macdonald – 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Ciara was back on the red carpet for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There’s no deny the new mum looks stunning in this Julien Macdonald Spring 2018 barely-there shimmering dress, which she wore with the correct invisible underwear by Commando,.

But if you’ve been following our Cannes Film Festival coverage this may have come around too soon.

Sheer, nude gowns were very much overplayed at Cannes this year, but I’m not going to let that ruin my enjoyment of Ciara’s look which she styled with Le Silla strappy sandals and hair teased to the heavens.

Models @ amfAR Gala Cannes 2018

With the limited showing of actresses – Kristen Stewart, Laura Harrier and Coco Konig – at the amfAR Cannes Gala this year, it was left to the models to provide the glamour.

Maria Borges: It’s been so great to see Roberto Cavalli back on the red carpet at Cannes. Maria was one of many models to don a look from the Couture collection this year. This platinum piece dripping with citrine micro-crystals and draped fringes was as dazzling as she was radiant.

Karolina Kurkova: Always a cut above, the model looked very elegant and sexy in her Miu Miu column dress which she perfectly accessorized with Miu Miu shoes and drop diamond earrings to complement the Swarovski crystal bow.

Sara Sampaio: Even the models outstretch leg couldn’t upstage the dazzling sheen of her pleated lame Elie Saab Resort 2018 blue gown.

‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The fashion was strong at the ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival premiere on Tuesday evening (May 15). Attendees joined Emilia Clarke, Phoebe Waller-BridgeThandie Newton and Elizabeth Debicki.

Liu Wen: Never one to go down the sheer, bedazzled route, she shone in Bottega Veneta Fall 2018. She borrowed styling ideas from the runway, but added a Bottega Veneta clutch. The rich marigold colour had such a sumptuous air. I’m curious to see how the ankle boots will go down.

Toni Garrn: The German model showed some leg in Roberto Cavalli Couture. It certainly embodied the designer’s sensual aesthetic. It also showed a level of craftsmanship for the way the lining perfectly matched her skin tone with no distracting bra cups or panty lines.

Doutzen Kroes: The Dutch beauty traded in the gown for strong-shouldered Tom Ford separates paired with pink Tom Ford pumps. Some ensembles with exaggerated shoulders haven’t gone down well, but the proportions of this look shouldn’t offend.
