Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Last week I posted Mischa Barton wearing a Julian J Smith Fall 2010 dress.

Well it looks like she invested in the whole collection, because she’s been spotted around London wearing 2 other pieces from the same collection.

The strange thing is all the pieces are remarkably alike due to the zig-zag print.

Surely it would’ve have been wiser to pick other pieces without the print from the range to mix things up a little.

What started off being a smart style move for Mischa Barton has ended up looking very samey and shows that she lacks imagination when it comes to creating her own style.

She even wears the same brogues.

I really wish she would please invest in some quality hair extensions.

In the space of a week she’s gone from Lindsay Lohan to Britney Spears.

Mischa Barton has been making herself at home in London as she’s been spotted hanging out in several pubs with British boyfriend DJ Ali Love.

It looks like she’s been introduced to some London based designers too, as she was spotted wearing a Julian J Smith Fall 2010 ensemble whilst leaving her hotel yesterday.

This very interesting colourful print would’ve surely turned a few heads.

The zig-zag print skirt was paired with a solid black short sleeve top with printed sleeves which differs to the runway.

The runway top had long sheer sleeves and a print all over.

A black hat and ivory brogues completed the look.

Don’t hate me, but I actually like the look minus the ratty extensions.

For once she looks relatively fresh faced.

Former X Factor contestant Diana Vickers looked adorable in the London summer sunshine yesterday when she attended the “London College Of Fashion Annual BA Show”.

I adore her look which included two pieces from the Julian J Smith Spring 2010 collection.

Her blue sleeveless top with a orange zig-zag detial was paired with a colourful mini skirt.

As much as I love the ensemble, I hate her accessories.

Hate is a strong word, but those bulky black shoes make me want to gorge my eyes out with a spoon because they are so painful to look at.

They have to be the worst ever shoes I have seen worn by a celebrity.

Her pink leopard print clutch isn’t working for me either.

Victoria Beckham and Olivia Palermo have both worn dress version of Diane’s skirt.

Victoria Beckham was the first to wear this colourful Julian J Smith Spring 2010 dress when she headed out to dinner with her boys in Beverly Hills late last year.

It was at a time when VB sported a curly bob and when she was still obsessed with Trib Two’s.

Olivia Palemro wore the same dress recently when she attended the Roberta Freymann Boutique in New York, where she presented her first capsule jewelery collection in collaboration with Roberta Freymann.

I usually really love Olivia’s style, but there is too much going on her for my liking, and I’m a lover of embellished pieces.

To show off a necklace collection I would’ve worn a solid colour.

At present everything is clashing with Olivia’s look. I can’t focus on one piece for too long.

To make the dress work Olivia should’ve lost the embellished Topshop jacket, the tights and the necklace, but that would’ve defeated the purpose so Victoria wins for me.

Out & About, LA

Prior to her party in London this week, Victoria Beckham was spotted out in LA with her boys wearing a very cute colourful mini Julian J Smith Spring 2010 dress with her curly bob, and blue suede YSL Trib Two heels.

Julian J Smith is a British designer who presented his first collection during London Fashion Week back in September, now he has one of the most photographed women in the world wearing his designs.

What a huge honour for him.

Avatar Photo Call, Berlin

Actresses Sigourney Weaver and Zoe Saldana attend a photocall to promote their film ‘Avatar’ Berlin.

Sigourney looked sophisticated wearing a metallic cardigan paired with wide-legged pants, whilst Zoe opted to show off her stunning legs.

Zoe wore one of the cutest pieces from Andrew GN’s Spring 2010 collection.

I love the crocheted top with a ruffled collar and black patent bow accent which complements her mini black satin skirt.

The look is teamed with a pair of beige Serigo Rossi platform heels.

BDOTW contender.

VEVO Launches Premiere Destination for Premium Music Video, New York

Lady GaGa donned an ethereal Valentino Spring 2010 dove grey strapless gown which looks like mounds of material wrapped around her tiny frame.

I love the dress, but she wears it too low down, and it gives her a look of having droopy boobs.

Even though many are over the bold shoulder trend Rihanna is still championing the look.

It seems like she just can’t get enough of spikey pieces either.

First rings, then dresses, now shoes which she pairs with her Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2009 Couture look which included a black jumpsuit, gold belt and cropped jacket look.

Ciara is such a lovely girl, with an amazing figure.

Her gold dress is outstanding, as it hugs that super toned body I’m so jealous of.

What I’m not jealous of are those red Louboutin thigh high heels.  They are cringe-worthy to say the least.

“The Lovely Bones” LA Premiere

Rachel Weisz looked so incredibly pretty wearing a baby blue strapless heavenly Valentino dress with silver platforms and a matching clutch.

Some might of opted for a neutral lip colour, but Rachel was bold enough to wear this floaty dress with bright red lips.
