‘Black Panther’ World Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The highly anticipated world premiere of Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ was on Monday (January 29) in Hollywood, California, which drew a veritable constellation of actresses to support the film’s stars Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, and Nabiyah Be.

Sydelle Noel: The actress opted for a golden goddess look in this shimmering Marc Bouwer gown, by which the cutouts made it a sleekly modern interpretation. The gold dress was one thing, but she channeled Vanessa Bell in ‘Coming To America’ even more so with her Imani-approved high ponytail hair.

Chloe Bennett: The high-shine aesthetic continued with Chloe’s Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2017 embellished gown, which wasn’t anything we haven’t seen. Yet, I like that she let the gown have its time in the spotlight by keeping her accessories -which included Neil J. Rodgers ‘Stella’ shoes and Monica Vinader jewels – to a minimum.

Cobie Smulders: Also getting the glitz memo, Cobie glittered in a Markarian Pre-Fall 2018 grock that offered a fresher silhouette by virtue of its sharp lines and side slit. The minimalistic styling – Jimmy Choo ‘Ellipse’ clutch and ‘Minny’ sandals – also served her quite well here, as the dress was the main attraction.

Entertainment Weekly’s Screen Actors Guild Awards Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

The stars came out in full force for Entertainment Weekly’s Screen Actors Guild Awards Celebration on Saturday (January 20).

Crystal Reed: There’s a lot to love about Crystal’s Dion Lee Spring 2018 look, but the pleated skirt steal the show for me. I love the overlay that gives it a dual-color effect.

Tommy Dorfman: I’ve always been wholly on-board with Tommy’s obvious love of fashion and willingness to experiment, but I literally can’t even with this. I feel like the entire thing is just trying too hard, and is completely unflattering.

Sarah Hyland: This velvet and satin asymmetrical Self Portrait Fall 2017 gown is as fun and perky and Sarah herself. And us usual, Sarah’s hair and makeup team knocked it out of the park.

Miley Cyrus In Vintage Bob Mackie & Jennifer Hudson In Jovani – The Voice

Party season is upon us, and dazzling duo Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson looked more than ready as they  took to their spinning seats for their judging duties on ‘The Voice’ on Monday (November 20).

Miley Cyrus: The singer has a reputation of outlandish, quirky and some might say ridiculous outfits, but she was giving us old Hollywood glamour on this occasion wearing a gold vintage strapless gown from Bob Mackie. Looking at this I would say the spirit of Diana Ross is with her. What do you think of this rare glam moment from Miley?

Jennifer Hudson: We all know how much Jennifer loves to show off her legs, and this two-piece short set dutifully obliged. I adore the colourful embellishments which no doubt twinkled vibrantly under the studio lights, but that didn’t stop her from enhancing the stones with emerald green eye makeup. Sydney Evans jewels and a fishtail braid completed her look.

The Franca Sozzani Award

Many more celebrities paid tribute to Franca Sozzani at a ceremony held on a windy night during Venice Film Festival, from which Julianne Moore collected an award.

Karolina Kurkova: While I adore the model when she presents a more fashion forward aesthetic, this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini pretty pink ruffle gown is as romantic as it is heavenly.

Isabeli Fontana: The model has proved to be quite the muse for Alberta Ferretti, wearing her 4th frock of this festival. While the elements weren’t too kind to her split front magenta gown, she carried herself with great dignity. I’m drawn to both the colour and construction of this stunning gown.

Bella Thorne In Jovani Signature – 2017 Teen Choice Awards

Bella Thorne returned to the red—well, blue—carpet at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards on Saturday (August 13) in LA, but I will be the first to admit that I barely recognized her.

The ‘Famous in Love’ actress was more channeling an ‘almost famous’ punk-star vibe, as she put her hot-pink locks to work for her by pairing them with multi-coloured makeup and confetti glitter strewn across her hair and face.

To go with that Lisa Frank rainbow-rad effect, she wore a sequined crop top, black leather-look pants and a shimmery Jovani Signature duster coat—plus platform shoes, of course.

I really have no words, as I simply don’t understand this costume-y, trendy-tragic look that has left me wishing for her return to her auburn-haired roots.
