Bella Thorne In Jovani Signature – 2017 Teen Choice Awards

Bella Thorne returned to the red—well, blue—carpet at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards on Saturday (August 13) in LA, but I will be the first to admit that I barely recognized her.

The ‘Famous in Love’ actress was more channeling an ‘almost famous’ punk-star vibe, as she put her hot-pink locks to work for her by pairing them with multi-coloured makeup and confetti glitter strewn across her hair and face.

To go with that Lisa Frank rainbow-rad effect, she wore a sequined crop top, black leather-look pants and a shimmery Jovani Signature duster coat—plus platform shoes, of course.

I really have no words, as I simply don’t understand this costume-y, trendy-tragic look that has left me wishing for her return to her auburn-haired roots.

Ariel Winter In Jovani Signature – New York Stock Exchange Closing Bell

Ariel Winter and her ‘Dog Years’ cast mates rang the New York Stock Exchange closing bell to celebrate the world premiere of their movie at New York Stock Exchange on Monday (April 24) in New York City.

I kinda see where she was going with this Jovani Signature suit, but I feel like she’s constantly missing the mark whether her look is too sexy or in this case too ageing.

I wish she would just return to having fun with fashion again.

Methinks she’s trying a bit too hard.

2017 Time 100 Gala Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more looks to grace the red carpet for the 2017 Time 100 Gala on Tuesday (April 25) in New York City.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel opted for an Alaia piece which was selected not only to colour coordinate with the step and repeat, but also because of its fine craftsmanship. Yes, it’s a bit heavy for spring, but Naomi has always marched to the beat of her own drum.

Margot Robbie: While I wish this Prada dress wasn’t so shapeless, the colourful embellishments – which reminded me of 100s and 1000s – the pale yellow hue, Delfina Delettrez jewels and the pretty pink purse did soften my stance and I have to say I love the look.

Ashley Graham: I love Ashley’s style, but I couldn’t get on board with what I feel is the over-styling of this look – starting with that choker. The look consisted of a Cami NYC camisole, Nili Lotan ‘Maya’ maxi skirt and Fleur Du Mal corset.

2017 Oscar Parties Roundup

The 2017 Oscars party circuit was in full tilt with so many other style darlings in attendance at both the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday (February 26). Here, a roundup of additional looks from the star-studded evening.

Emily Ratajkowski: Glitz and glam feathers both played a sultry game in this Jonathan Simkhai Fall 2017 plunge gown.

Priyanka Chopra: Speaking of glitter, Priyanka’s black Michael Kors Collection gown would have just been a standard black dress had it not been for the blitz of sequins.

Sia: I had to do a double-take with the singer’s custom Giorgio Armani cantaloupe-hued suit, as the nude-coloured lining provided a strange effect that made her hat-topped head almost appear to be floating.

Ciara In August Getty Atelier & Jovani Signature – 2017 Oscar Parties

Being pregnant with (rumored) twins was not about to stop Ciara from attending both the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party and the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (February 26), and changing for each event.

Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party: I love the simple elegance of her August Getty Atelier dress and duster combination. It has a warm fresh feel about it which was perfect for this event, but I’m also feeling like this would’ve been a great look for a posh baby shower.

2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party: The singer stunned a plush velvet Jovani Signature gown in a rich oxblood hue, but sadly it’s inevitable that this was always going to be compared to Beyonce’s Peter Dundas Grammys gown.

Which look do you favour?
