Kerry Washington In Johanna Ortiz, Fendi, Oscar de la Renta & Proenza Schouler – Good Morning America

Kerry Washington stopped by ‘Good Morning America’ on Wednesday (April 11) in New York City to chat about the final season of ‘Scandal,’ where she was seen outside the studio in not one, but two powerhouse looks that were better than a caffeine fix to jolt you awake—with her glorious curls also taking top billing.

You just have to love a coat that’s called ‘The Way of Warrior’ hailing from the Johanna Ortiz Fall 2018 collection. A strong statement, with chic military influences, it was the perfect topper for a chilly, almost-spring day. She further introduced a fresh zest with a Fendi top and white skirt along with coral Giuseppe Zanotti pumps. Well accessorised, Kerry finished the look with Elie Saab retro-forward sunglasses, a Christian Louboutin ‘Paloma’ clutch, and Jennifer Fisher jewels.

Malin Akerman In Johanna Ortiz – ‘Rampage’ LA Premiere

Malin Akerman joined Naomie Harris for the LA premiere of ‘Rampage’ on Wednesday (April 4).

Much like Keri Russell, Malin has caught the Johanna Ortiz bug; as she’s equally seduced by the Colombian designers feminine and elegant Latin-inspired pieces.

Ruffled one way and giving the cold shoulder from the other, with a peek-a-boo cutout at the bodice to create an interlude to the sculpted mermaid skirt, this look was crying out for better heels.

The Emm Kuo clutch did live up to her beguiling frock. Bauble Bar earrings completed the look.

Keri Russell In Johanna Ortiz – ‘The Americans’ Season 6 Premiere

Keri Russell’s military-inspired Saint Laurent look failed to impress you at the FX Annual All-Star Party last week, but I have a feeling you’ll be totally enamoured by the Johanna Ortiz Spring 2018 dress she wore to the season 6 premiere of ‘The Americans’, on Friday (March 16).

You may remember that Keri discovered Johanna Ortiz early last year and has rarely worn any other designer since, because like me, she’s totally captivated by the designers Latin American influences.

I love how the floor-sweeping skirt with tiered ruffles are cohesive details that form such a romantic look. This might be up there as her personal best.

Keri’s enchanting entrance was completed with black accessories and a spicy red lip.

Lorraine Schwartz ‘Eye Bangles’ Collection Launch

‘The Eye Bangles’ Lorraine Schwartz launch, in addition to her signature Against Evil Eye Collection, was celebrated on Tuesday (March 13) in Hollywood. Naturally her biggest fans Rita Ora, Blake Lively and Sofia Vegara were in attendance.

Rita Ora: In recent times when we see La Perla looks on the red carpet, they tend to be suits (think Joanne Froggatt, Fan Bingbing and Gwyneth Paltrow), but Rita Ora opted embrace the luxury brand for what it’s historically know for – lingerie. Even with the robe covering most of the look, there is no escaping the fact that she is wearing a nightgown underneath. Thankfully her Lorraine Schwartz jewels provide some distraction.

Blake Lively: Probably the designer biggest fan, the actress opted to keep things simple with a Brandon Maxwell Spring 2018 LBD, allowing the jewels to be the focus. I love how her medley of Lorraine Schwartz bracelets complement her Christian Louboutin ‘ Galeria’ sandals.

Kim Kardashian: Without the oversized blazers and the pink hair, I have to say this was a surprisingly simple and refreshing look for Kim.

Union De Actores Awards 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

Texture and bold prints were popular styles at the Union de Actores Awards 2018 on Monday (March 12) in Madrid, Spain. Lovely ladies joined Penelope Cruz.

Juana Acosta: The Colombian actress struck a pose in a Johanna Ortiz gown. It was brimming with dark romance from the deep colour palette and full sleeves. Jimmy Choo shoes and clutch played up the mood while the slit down the front added a sensual undercurrent.

Elena Anaya: Showing some leg, the ‘Wonder Woman’ actress donned a Carmen March frock. I fear that many will describe this as a garbage bag dress given the textural quality of the fabric. She carried a #MasMujeres red fan. Like #MeToo, it helps support equality for women in cinema.
