Olivia Munn In J. Mendel – 2015 Met Gala

Olivia Munn In J Mendel - 2015 Met Gala

Olivia Munn made a high drama statement on the red carpet of the 2015 Met Gala in New York City tonight (May 4).

The actress wore an intricately pleated J. Mendel gown with drape-away sleeves and bold colors, and while Olivia often has an appealing ‘everygirl’ quality about her, that is nowhere to be found tonight. She looks as glamorous as I’ve ever seen her, and I love every aspect of it.

Despite how much is going on with the draping and color-fading of the dress, Olivia continued to editorialize the look with huge diamond jewels and red and black nail art, and while it was a risk, I think that risk totally paid off.

Word on the street is that Olivia was invited to sit at Anna Wintour’s head table tonight, and hopefully she’ll make as good of an impression on the Anna as she has on me.

Britt Robertson In J Mendel - The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards

Britt Robertson attended The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards during CinemaCon, on Thursday (April 23) in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she picked up the ‘CinemaCon 2015 Star of Tomorrow Award’.

Such is the youthful vitality that the actress brings to the red carpet, I often forget that she’s 25-years-old and not a teen queen.

On this occasion she looks all grown up, wearing a J. Mendel Fall 2015 ivory and black one shoulder dress designed with easy sensibility, oozing elegance with contemporary blessings for a sleek clean-cut silhouette.

Opting for a red lip, when I wish she’d gone for red sandals, the look was completed with uber glossy waves and a gorgeous smile.

Elisabeth Moss In J. Mendel – ‘Mad Men’ New York Screening

Elisabeth Moss In J Mendel - 'Mad Men' New York Screening

Elisabeth Moss attended the ‘Mad Men’ New York screening held at The Museum of Modern Art on Sunday (March 22) in New York City.

The actress shook up her two-tone J. Mendel sultry frock with a pair of red Stuart Weitzman suede pumps, when black would’ve been an easy option.

I love how this dress sculpts a flattering silhouette. Form-fitting but not the least bit constraining, this modern frock is steeped in feminine elegance.

Should she have kept the original length of the skirt?

Faith Hill In J. Mendel – 2015 Oscars

Faith Hill In J. Mendel - 2015 Oscars

Faith Hill was all glamour on the red carpet on Sunday (February 22) at the 2015 Oscars, hosted at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

The country music star looked impeccable in a J. Mendel Fall 2015 gown.

Faith proved that less is more, and really quite sexy. The simple wrap dress silhouette cascaded over her figure in the most gorgeous and effortless way. The cream coloured, long sleeved gown was embellished with shimmering monochromatic beading that added a dose of red carpet appeal to the clean lines of the gown.

The singer, rightly so, kept her accessories minimal with a long diamond necklace skimming the deep cut neckline, and stud earrings. Faith’s skin glowed in neutral hues of makeup and a deep side part.

This is a stunning look in my book, what do you think?

Olga Kurylenko In J Mendel - Berlin Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Saturday (February 14) saw us bid farewell to the Berlinale International Film Festival with the closing ceremony held at the Berlinale Palace in Berlin, Germany, with Olga Kurylenko taking centre stage.

The Ukrainian beauty wore a J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2015 strapless gown in the classic colour-block combo of black and white, with a touch of asymmetry giving the look a modern touch.

I love how this gown marries a sleek crepe fitted body with a silk chiffon pleated underlay that drapes elegantly for a pristine finish with maximum impact.

Shaking up the minimalist nature of the look, she added dazzling earrings for a final flourish.
