Sarah Jessica Parker In Vera Wang & J. Mendel Couture – 2017 Golden Globe Awards & People’s Choice Awards

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 8) before winning Favourite Premium Series Actress at the People’s Choice Awards 2017 on Wednesday (January 18) in LA.

2017 Golden Globe Awards: We always expect SJP to bring her own quirky, eclectic style to the red carpet. Sometimes it works and, well, sometimes it just doesn’t—like here. She single-handedly turned the red carpet into a wedding aisle with this Vera Wang Fall 2017 Bridal gown, the sleeves of which were the worst offender.

2017 People’s Choice Awards: The original presentation of this J Mendel Fall 2016 Couture bronze metallic dress was mesmerizing. Sadly, SJP cut her version short, added sleeves, and removed the cutouts, turning it into a cross between period costume and bad prom dress.

Jordana Brewster In J. Mendel – 2017 People’s Choice Awards

Jordana Brewster was also at the People’s Choice Awards 2017 on Wednesday (January 18) in LA.

While the PCAs usually sees a slightly less formal red carpet, that didn’t keep the actress from gliding out a long halter gown.

The cornflower-blue colour of this J Mendel Spring 2017 dropped-waist design was nothing short of alluring. But, what really sold the look to me was seeing it in movement, with the diaphanous flow of the semi-sheer, plisse skirt.

Ponytails popped up as a favoured beauty look this year at the PCAs, and this sleek ’do on Jordana was a model version.

2017 Golden Globe Awards Parties Red Carpet Roundup

After every award had been announced and every speech given, the Golden Globes parties on Sunday (January 8) brought in a rush of other pretties to celebrate the night away with their peers in Beverly Hills, California.

Ashley Madekwe: Had this photo not been labeled Ashley, I would have never recognized the starlet who debuted a far more dramatic look than we are accustomed. Channeling Diana Ross, she wore a silken Cushnie et Ochs draped gown. Yet the heavy makeup and bouffant hair had an ageing effect on this typically youthful, natural beauty.

Nikki Reed: Sheer, sequins, and cutouts… oh my. Leaving no trend unturned, the actress wore a Naeem Khan Fall 2016 gown but the visible seaming at the sides compromised the look even more than the unflattering hip cutout.

Freida Pinto: The Bollywoood star donned a chicer version of sheer, sequins, and cutouts in this Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna metallic halter gown.

Zoe Saldana presented alongside Sienna Miller at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on January 8 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel before once again joining Sienna at the ‘Live by Night’ Los Angeles premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre on January 9.

2017 Golden Globe Awards: Zoe was thinking pink on the red carpet, with her girly turn in a Gucci tiered, ruffle gown that was topped off with a version of the bow motif that we’ve recently seen crop up in several other Gucci looks on Emma Stone and Sienna Miller.

2017 Art of Elysium HEAVEN Gala

The Art of Elysium celebrated its 10th anniversary with a gala themed Stevie Wonder’s HEAVEN, hosted at Red Studios on January 7, 2017 in Los Angeles, California, where a wonderland of looks took to the red carpet.

Camilla Belle: As the evening’s honoree, Camilla Belle took my breath away in her Schiaparelli Fall 2016 Couture gown that had the fanciful whimsy of a skirt embroidered with colourful creatures and the sharp elegance of an architectural bodice. Her sculptural top knot was the perfect finish.

Hailey Baldwin: The starlet definitely turned heads as she left no feather unturned in her extravagant orange Jonathan Simkhai Resort 2017 cutout creation paired with matching sandals, no less.

2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the other lovely ladies who attended the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 9) in New York City.

Iman: The supermodel was in no mood to share the spotlight, taking to the red carpet in a dramatic Brandon Maxwell Spring 2016 gown with voluminous sleeves. I love how this piece oozes  couture craftsmanship. You may remember that Lady Gaga wore this in white to the Emmys after-party.

Victoria Beckham: The British designer was one of the big winners on the night. She collected her award wearing a sultry red gown from her Spring 2016 collection.
