Mary J Blige In J. Mendel – 2015 Grammy Awards

Mary J Blige In J Mendel - 2015 Grammy Awards

Mary J Blige attended the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 8) held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2014 silver halter gown featuring an embroidered bodice and pleated skirt.

This design was very refreshing for Mary who often sticks to the same formula.

I love how this channels a soft sensuality of a bygone era with a focus on the future.

An Amanda Pearl matching clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed her look.

Amanda Peet In J. Mendel – 2015 SAG Awards

Amanda Peet In J. Mendel - 2015 SAG Awards

Amanda Peet attended the 2015 SAG Awards with her husband, ‘Game of Thrones’ producer David Benioff, on Sunday evening (January 25) at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

A mere 6 weeks after giving birth to her third child, the ‘Togetherness’ actress wore a strapless, pale pink J. Mendel gown with black accents.

I’m a fan of the dress itself. The black detail really modernizes and matures a color that can sometimes come across twee. It would have been better if there was an internal corset or straps on this however because Amanda needed additional support in the bust. The poor fit distracted from what could have been a really great look.

I like where she was going with the beauty look. The textured, messy bun, strong brow, edgy earrings and black nail polish should have read cool and modern. Unfortunately, the hair photographed very poorly and threw everything off but I’m with her in spirit.

Gillian Jacobs In J. Mendel – ‘Black or White’ LA Premiere

Gillian Jacobs In J Mendel - ‘Black or White’ LA Premiere

Gillian Jacobs attended the premiere of Relativity Media’s ‘Black or White’ held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Tuesday (January 20) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a colourful panelled J. Mendel Spring 2015 mini frock with a black hemline.

While I want to be dazzled by the dress and the simple complementary styling including a Rodo clutch, I can’t help but be fazed by the fact that this dress appears to be too big for her.

It’s just hanging there rather than hugging her body as it should.

Vera Farmiga In J. Mendel – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Vera Farmiga In J Mendel - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Vera Farmiga attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress, who was one of the presenters on the night, wore a J. Mendel Resort 2015 black and rose-gold embroidered cap sleeve gown with a streamline dramatic profile, which clings to the hips and relaxes into a flared skirt.

This look instantly made me think of her last red carpet look as it also features horizontal stripes, but this one has more razzle dazzle.

Kate Bosworth In J Mendel - 'Still Alice' Screening After-Party

Following the screening of ‘Still Alice’, Kate Bosworth attended the after-party on Tuesday (January 13) in New York City.

Kate changed out of her glamorous Oscar de la Renta gown for something more, well, Kate.

Opting for a short black dress, she paired the look with a J. Mendel Resort 2014 white goat collarless coat featuring crystal embellishment at the front which centre stage.

The look was styled with thigh-high black Stuart Weitzman boots and a Christopher Kane black bag with the safety buckle that’s become the brand’s signature.

Michelle Monaghan In J. Mendel – Lynn Hirschberg Celebrates W’s It Girls

Michelle Monaghan In J Mendel - Lynn Hirschberg Celebrates W's It Girls

Michelle Monaghan attended Lynn Hirschberg Celebrates W’s It Girls held at A.O.C on Saturday (January 10) in Los Angeles, California.

Wearing a timelessly feminine piece that will stay in vogue for seasons, Michelle wore a J. Mendel light and airy printed silk chiffon short sleeve top and ruched skirt.

You weren’t too enamoured with her styling for her last look, but on this occasion I’m sure you will view her grey accessories, including a Nancy Gonzalez clutch, more favourably.

A slicked back do and a bold red lip rounded out this look.

The red lips and nails would’ve needed to have been toned down a tad for me to consider this a perfect look.
