Red Carpet Fashion Awards

I first saw these Jimmy Choo Quinze embellished booties at the Jimmy Choo showroom during Milan’s Spring 2010 Fashion Week back in March.

At that moment I knew these would be a favourite of celebrities, and with these ladies dazzling on the red carpet wearing these gorgeous heels it looks like my prediction was right.

These elegant suede and crystal embroidery sandals are guaranteed to turn heads. They come in black and this seasons hottest trend – nude.

All these ladies rock both colours so well I’m not sure which is my favourite.

The nude booties were just uploaded onto Net-A-Porter’s International site, and you can also purchase them from Saks.com.

Last week Sophie and I attended Jimmy Choo’s 24/7 press day.

We were literally like kids in candy store viewing both shoes and handbags from the whole Jimmy Choo collection.

The shoes ranged from basic everyday shoes, to more glamorous heels for date night.

The candy was so pretty, delicious and utterly tempting. So tempting that I fell in love with the Jimmy Choo Private Sandals which I just had to buy.

It wasn’t all about shoes and bags we were also invited to have a have our hair done, have a massage using Jo Malone’s products and manicures by Bliss nail technicians. What more could a girl ask for?

The Choo 24/7 collection is the ‘perfect shoe wardrobe’ with updated versions of Tamara Mellon’s favourite styles in a variety of colours, materials and heel heights which she discusses in the video below.

The collection includes iconic Jimmy Choo shapes:

The ‘Icons’, the ‘Perfect Platforms’, the ‘Perfect Pointy-toe Pump’, the ‘Perfect Round-toe Pump’, the ‘Perfect Flat’, the ‘Perfect Wedge’ and the ‘Perfect Evening’.

You can check out some of the styles at Net-A-Porter US site or Net-A-Porter’s international site.

When I originally posted this last month H&M requested I take the pictures down.

WWD have added the pictures to their site so the pictures are now officially released.

The women’s Jimmy Choo for H&M collection has been revealed and it includes a stunning array of shoes, bags and accessories.

This is the first time Jimmy Choo will extend its range to women’s clothing to complement the accessories.

I love the collection. It’s better than expected. I’m just scared that their is going to be a stampede. These pieces are just too good to miss.

The collection goes on sale November 14 in 200 worldwide H&M stores.

Of all the celebrity obsessions Lucy Liu has the most serious addition to her Jimmy Choo ‘Idol’ platform heels.

Who can blame her as they’re exquisite. The nude Jimmy Choo platforms heels have a crossover strap with buckle fastening, cut out sections on the front, a peep toe and a contrasting black panel on the heel.

We first spotted Lucy wearing them back in November to the Alberta Ferretti LA store opening party, and again just recently when she attended the Swarovski Crystallized Concept Store Opening last month.

The thing about her heels is they give the actress the added height she wants plus – as you can see – they complement many colours from red to to pink to black to blue.

Net-A-Porter.com discount sister store Outnet.com are currently selling these heels at a 50% discount from £440 to £220.

H&M and Jimmy Choo are set to collaborate. I kid you not.

This is the first time H&M will be collaborating with an accessories brand, and to celebrate Jimmy Choo will extend its range to women’s clothing to complement the accessories.

You guys will be happy to know that this collaboration will include a men’s collection of shoes, bags and accessories.

The collection will be available from November 14 in around 200 stores across the world.

“This autumn, British accessory brand Jimmy Choo will bring its international glamour and covetable shoes and bags to selected H&M stores,” H&M said in a statement.

Other fashion greats that have collaborated with H&M include Matthew Williamson, Karl Lagerfeld, Viktor & Rolf, Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney and Comme des Garcons founder Rei Kawakubo.

Their launches have generated frenzied scenes as shoppers sought to buy chic designs at cut-rate prices, and some collections have sold out within minutes.

Mark your calendars and arrive early. It’s gonna be a road block.
