Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Mulberry, Seraphine & Jenny Packham – New York Official Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Mulberry, Seraphine & Jenny Packham - New York Official Visit

On the third day (December 9) of the official visit of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, to New York City the couple made several appearances.

The National September 11 Memorial Museum Visit: After grey and black we were finally treated to some colour from the Duchess. Once again she opted for a timeless winter coat courtesy of Mulberry in a classic silhouette rendered in a vibrant cerise hue. The look was of course styled with all black accessories complementing the buttons on the double-breasted design.

Creativity Is GREAT Britain’s Creative Industries Event: Her second look – revealed when she removed her coat – was a black turtleneck dress from her go-to maternity designer, Seraphine. The look was styled with her favourite Cartier Trinity necklace. You may remember that the Duchess debuted the piece at a 2012 National Portrait Gallery exhibition.

St Andrews 600th Anniversary Dinner: And finally, the event I had been waiting for. A gala dinner party that would see the Duchess blow me away in a stunning gown. Sadly, that didn’t come to pass. Her dark green Jenny Packham Fall 2013 gown accented with a black waistband was a three-peat, having been worn to the 100 Women In Hedge Funds dinner in October 2013 and the National Portrait Gallery event in February 2014. The only things of note here are her stunning emerald and diamond jewels plus that elegant updo.

While none of the looks have been bad, there was just nothing to get excited about. I would like to believe that had the weather been warmer we would’ve seen more than different coats in similar silhouettes, but even this summer we were treated to coat/dress after coat/dress so I can’t have total faith in that belief.

Rihanna In Jenny Packham – Edward Enninful British Fashion Awards After-Party

Rihanna In Jenny Packham - Edward Enninful British Fashion Awards After-Party

Rihanna and Naomi Campbell attended a party in celebration of Edward Enninful – who took home the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator at the British Fashion Awards – held at the Oscar Wilde Bar, Hotel Cafe Royal, on Monday (December 1) in London, England.

While Naomi opted to wear the same Alexander McQueen gown she wore to the event, Rihanna chose to change out of the Stella McCartney blazer she wore on the red carpet.

Opting for a distinctly British label, she wore a gorgeous Jenny Packham Fall 2014 ivory crystal embellished slip dress, keeping her hair up in the chic bun while removing some of the heavy styling that accompanied her previous look.

I know many hated her red carpet look, but I loved it. This look concludes a great night for her, going from bold and sexy to sexy and sweet.

She’s on a roll and she can do no wrong for me.

Emmy Rossum In Jenny Packham – FOX’s Cause For Paws: An All-Star Dog Spectacular

Emmy Rossum In Jenny Packham - FOX's Cause For Paws An All-Star Dog Spectacular

Emmy Rossum attended FOX’s Cause For Paws: An All-Star Dog Spectacular held at The Barker Hangar on Saturday (November 22) in Santa Monica, California.

The actress wore a Jenny Packham Spring 2014 dress which I can’t say is my favourite look from Emmy despite this look being event appropriate.

My issue is mainly the mauve colour which is way too drab and in danger of washing her out.

The actress opted for neutral makeup and a simple updo with scalloped-edge black Bionda Castana ‘Consuelo’ pumps completing her look.

Would a pop of colour like the runway improve this look? I don’t know.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham – The Place2Be Wellbeing Schools Awards Reception

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham - The Place2Be Wellbeing Schools Awards Reception

Before the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit the US next month, Catherine was flying solo on the red carpet yesterday (November 19) evening for the Place2be Wellbeing in Schools Awards Reception held at Kensington Palace in London, England.

The Duchess wore a Hobbs textured crepe overlay top in an embroidered polka-dot design with a subtle peplum waist detail accented with a belt and paired with a Jenny Packham Fall 2013 teal-blue silk knee-length skirt.

Styled with her favourite Jimmy Choo pumps and Cassandra Goad ‘Temple of Heaven’ earrings, I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by this look.

While I would’ve loved the full runway look had this been a gala or a dinner party, her top is actually a really interesting choice, especially when paired with the belt.

Event and season appropriate without being boring? Colour me impressed.

Emily Blunt In Jenny Packham – Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards

Emily Blunt In Jenny Packham - Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards

Emily Blunt attended the 2014 Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards held at The Wilshire Ebell Theatre on Sunday (November 9) in Los Angeles, California.

The British actress made a return to the red carpet wearing a Jenny Packham Spring 2015 fully embellished light-pink cocktail dress with three-quarter-length sleeves and a keyhole back.

Some might see this as anticlimactic following her epic Michael Kors look at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards, but I just see another pitch perfect look.

Dazzling in a significantly more subtle way, the look was styled with Kurt Geiger sandals and Chimento jewels, with a pretty pink lip complementing the look.
