FKA Twigs In Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier – 22nd Annual Webby Awards

It’s always interesting to see what FKA twigs will wear. At the 22nd Annual Webby Awards on Monday (May 14) she was clad in a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier look from the Fall 1999 collection.

From the front, the sleeveless style doesn’t have the most complicated silhouette but it’s enlivened with embellishment and the geometric design.

When she turned around, it revealed a dramatic open back with multicoloured crisscross straps.

The accessories made the look her own. The caged sandals brought out the tribal design while the sheer fingerless gloves added another unexpected detail. The unifying factors were the ensemble was bold, unique and true to her style.

Khadja Nin In Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture – ‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony

Khadja Nin was a beauty in blue at ‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’ premiere and Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony on Saturday (May 19). She joined Cate BlanchettKristen Stewart and Olga Kurylenko.

The Burundian singer has delighted with her vivacious looks at the festival and this Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2018 Haute Couture gown was no exception.

No superfluous details were necessary with the rich blue and the diaphanous draping. It’s a lesson in how a pared-back look can sometimes resonate the most.

Araya A. Hargate In Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture – Chopard Trophée

Araya A. Hargate made a bold statement at the Chopard Trophée event at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 14), joining Diane Kruger.

She had her first memorable moment at the festival in Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture at the ‘Girls Of The Sun (Les Filles Du Soleil)’ premiere, and delivered another show-stopping outfit in a layered look from Spring 2014.

Voluminous looks are de rigueur, but this certainly isn’t your standard gown.

She made the style her own with the tidier collar and statement jewels. The skirt also has a different silhouette, but it’s no less arresting. This is the sort of look that makes one reconsider the possibilities of red carpet ensembles.

Araya A. Hargate In Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture – ‘Girls Of The Sun (Les Filles Du Soleil)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

It may have taken her five days, but Araya A. Hargate finally gave us a memorable Cannes Film Festival moment this evening (May 12) for the premiere of ‘Girls Of The Sun (Les Filles Du Soleil)’.

While the embellished sheer gowns have been pleasurable, this Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2017 Couture gown is what I’m hoping to see when I’m constantly refreshing Getty.

A necklace with an asymmetrical neckline has always been a big bug-bear of mine, but this is Cannes, and she’s an Chopard ambassador, so it’s to be expected.

I have a feeling that had she not worn the necklace, she may have kept the furry shoulder accent.

Do you wish she’d kept some of the pageantry from the runway, like the opera gloves perhaps?

Or do you love her presentation as it is?

Li Yuchun In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – Yomeddine’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

If you like your fashion with a little bit more bite, Li Yuchun is the girl for you.

The singer may have worn a gown for the opening ceremony, but her natural creativity came out to play at the ‘Yomeddine’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening (May 9).

Her Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2018 Couture look has this strange dichotomy of feeling like it hails from the ’60s, yet is so fashion forward, which I believe comes mostly from the spiralling skirt.

After Julianne in Givenchy, this is my second favourite look, as I’m drawn to her uniqueness and the empowering qualities of this look.

Madonna In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2018 Met Gala

You could easily say that the ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’ theme of the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City was made for Madonna.

The ‘Like a Virgin’ singer was born for this red carpet, after all. And, rock the theme Madge did.

But, rather than go for a white look of purity, she went in the opposite direction with a Jean Paul Gaultier Couture extravaganza that her stylist Eyob Yohannes likened to an ‘Immaculate Goth Queen.’

The black ball gown featured a sheer cross cutout that you would be forgiven for missing initially, as her mesh black veil and elaborate cross-bedecked crown commanded so much attention up front.

She carried a giant black rose to finish the dark, theatrical spectacle that won’t be soon forgotten.

PANDORA Jewelry Shine Collection Launch With Ciara

If you’re looking for some goodies to refresh your wardrobe, look no further than the new Ciara x Pandora Jewelry collection which launched today.

The collection features the brand’s signature charms, an array of stackable rings, necklaces and earrings, which are all made from sterling silver and plated in 18k gold.

Inspired by the sun’s rays, natural elements, and honey bees, there’s bound to be something you like from this Ciara-approved new collection.

A party was held on Wednesday (March 14) in New York City to celebrate the launch of the Pandora Jewelry Shine collection launch, with the Princess of R&B herself; alongside Victoria Justice.

Ciara: You weren’t the biggest fans of her Vanity Fair Oscar Party look, so you’ll be delighted she toned things down for this party wearing a black tunic and wide-leg pants Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2018 Couture outfit, which she loaded with Pandora jewels. I love how sleek and elegant the look is, but I had to wonder about the asymmetrical neckline when showcasing those necklaces. V-neck or strapless would’ve made a bit more sense to me.

Victoria Justice: The actress looked sweet-like honey wearing a bright yellow Cristina Ottaviano Spring 2018 outfit. With Spring officially starting on March 20, Victoria was bringing that fresh feeling forward with this vibrant look. Her draped bustier top was the perfect style to showcase her Ciara x Pandora Jewelry necklaces.
