Gwen Stefani In Yousef Al-Jasmi & Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2015 American Music Awards

Gwen Stefani In Yousef Al-Jasmi & Jean Paul Gaultier Couture - 2015 American Music Awards

Gwen Stefani was serving up gothic glamour at the 2015 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 22) in Los Angeles, California.

Red Carpet: When I tell you that Gwen shares the same stylists as Ciara and Jennifer Lopez, you perhaps won’t be surprised to see Gwen following the sheer gown trend when she donned this Yousef Al-Jasmi Spring 2016 piece. Pushing my fatigue to one side, I do love the flowy arms and a mermaid silhouette of this gown. Frankly, she’s serving it up better than the runway model. The only thing missing is a slick back do….

Performance:…but it looks like Gwen was saving that for her performance look. I love the intricate web-like design of her Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2015 Couture gown. It’s refreshing to see a singer perform with clothes on and not just hot pants and a bralet.

Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier – X Factor London Auditions

Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier - X Factor London Auditions

Rita Ora attended the third round of the London auditions of The X Factor at SSE Arena today (July 21) in London, England.

The singer was out to grab attention once again, this time wearing an avant-garde Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2015 one-sleeve, impeccably tailored suit.

I don’t hate the look, I think she pulls it off quite nicely actually, but as per, it feels too much for a Tuesday afternoon of X Factor auditions.

I just wanna take that Rita Ora dial and turn it down a few notches.

Li Yuchun In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – ‘The Little Prince’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Li Yuchun In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture - 'The Little Prince' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Li Yuchun attended the premiere of ‘The Little Prince’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 22) in Cannes, France making her first appearance on the red carpet as a L’Oréal ambassador.

My reaction to this: “YES!” Finally, someone made those Jean Paul Gautier Spring 2015 Couture hybrid pieces work off the runway.

This look isn’t your typical jumpsuit; I love how the piece plays up its formal suiting while still possessing plenty of whimsical sensibility.

Keeping the styling simple and opting for the opera glove so the balance wasn’t thrown off was key to making this look work.

This will rank in my top 5 of the festival and will probably rank quite highly in my BDOTY, despite those darn creases on the trousers.

Marion Cotillard In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2015 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Marion Cotillard In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture - 2015 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Marion Cotillard attended amfAR’s 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 21) in Cap d’Antibes, France.

Perhaps the biggest shock of the festival, aside from Jane Fonda’s look last night, is seeing Marion NOT wearing Dior.

Instead she wore a Spring 2015 Couture look from Jean Paul Gaultier.

Those who haven’t managed to get on board with the French designer’s hybrid dresses will be delighted to see that Marion kept things simple, wearing a green column dress simply accessorised with Chopard jewels and a white clutch which provided a stark contrast.

I love how chic this look is oozing old Hollywood glamour.

Does this make you wanna scream hallelujah?

Catherine Deneuve In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – ‘La Tete Haute’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Catherine Deneuve In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture - ‘La Tete Haute’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Catherine Deneuve attended the opening ceremony and premiere of ‘La Tete Haute’ (‘Standing Tall’) during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 13) in Cannes, France.

My prediction of the French actress wearing Louis Vuitton for the premiere was wrong, as she opted for her second favourite designer Jean Paul Gaultier.

These Spring 2015 couture hybrid dresses haven’t gone down too well on Kylie Minogue and Naomi Campbell, but – call me crazy – I think it works at Cannes.

Deneuve’s dress is bold in colour and has a quirk you can only get away with in Europe, living up to the ‘go big or go home’ mantra this festival was built on.
