Catherine Deneuve In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – ‘3 Coeurs’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Catherine Deneuve In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture - '3 Coeurs' Venice Film Festival Premiere

After the photo call, Catherine Deneuve was back in red-carpet stride for the ‘3 Coeurs’ premiere at the 2014 Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy on Saturday (August 30).

For the occasion, the French actress wore a French designer, donning a Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2014 Couture dress. She accessorized with a sparkling black Fendi clutch, Pomellato jewels and black embellished sandals.

I wanted to like this moment, if only for the magical, electric blue colour of the gown. Sadly, the trellis-like black embroidery that traced down the centre of the gown into a tulle-accented hem only served as a distraction.

That said, it was the quarterback shoulders that really turned me off this look.

Fan Bingbing In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ China Press Conference

Fan Bingbing attended the press conference for ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ earlier today (May 13) in Beijing, China alongside Peter Dinklage and Hugh Jackman.

Following the premiere in New York, the Asian actress continues to delight, wearing a Jean-Paul Gaultier Spring 2014 Couture look featuring a cobalt-blue blouson top with a black pencil skirt creating a unique silhouette.

As much as I dislike those quadruple-stack pumps she insists on wearing, I have, at this point, tried to make peace with them.

Chopard jewels and a half-up, half-down hairstyle completed her look.

Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier – SiriusXM Studios

Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier - SiriusXM Studios

Rita Ora paid a visit to SiriusXM Studios on Monday (April 21) in New York City to promote her new single ‘I Will Never Let You Down’.

It may have been a radio interview, but that didn’t stop the singer from going all out with her look.

She donned a Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2014 biker look consisting of an asymmetrical one-sleeved leather jacket with moto leather shorts styled with a lace short-sleeved top and fierce knee-high Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator cut-out boots.

I’m sure many of you are rolling your eyes at this exaggerated biker babe look, but I have to say I love it from head to toe.

It’s sexy, bold, in your face, unapologetic and current, even though she’s clearly trying too hard.

In this instance, it works for me.

Coco Rocha In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2014 amfAR New York Gala

Coco Rocha In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture - 2014 amfAR New York Gala

Coco Rocha attended the 2014 amfAR New York Gala held at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday (February 5) in New York City.

Always one to draw attention, the model wore an orange-black-blue-and-white colour-block Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2014 Couture gown straight off the Paris runway.

The cape-like design with a body-contouring effect was simple, with anonymous pumps, a diamond bracelet and kohl-rimmed eyes allowing the dress to be the main attraction.

I think only Coco, Cate and Tilda could pull this off.

Dita von Teese In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – Sidaction Gala Dinner

Dita von Teese In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture - Sidaction Gala Dinner

Dita von Teese attended the Sidaction Gala Dinner held at the Pavillon d’Armenonville on Thursday (January 23) in Paris, France joining Chloe Sevigny.

The burlesque star, who walked in Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2014 Couture show this week, wore a look from the designer’s Fall 2013 Couture collection.

Having fallen for the charms of Carolina Herrera’s ladylike frocks in recent times, this sees Dita return to her sultry temptress ways.

The black part-sheer gown with exaggerated pockets and a fur-trimmed leather bodice was, of course, styled with leather opera gloves, a red pout and her signature retro ‘do.

Rihanna In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2013 American Music Awards

Rihanna In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture Spring 2013 - 2013 American Music Awards

Rihanna skipped the red carpet for the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday evening, but did make an appearance on stage to collect the ‘Favourite Soul/R&B Artist’ of the year award.

She did so wearing a sexy two-piece from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2013 Couture collection.

The look consisted of a black bustier top with a floor-sweeping sheer lace skirt with girdle-like construction.

A collection of jewels courtesy of Lynn Ban and Repossi plus an Alex Mika ear cuff accessorized her look.

It’s by far from being her best look, but I don’t hate it.

On the downside her wrap-setting hairstyle is beyond ridiculous plus the tan lines are tacky.

Miley Cyrus In Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier – Bambi Awards 2013

Miley Cyrus In Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier - Bambi Awards 2013Miley Cyrus managed to shock again, this time at the 2013 Bambi Awards, held Thursday night at the Stage Theatre in Berlin, Germany—except this time, it may be a good surprise for those who are fatigued with her public displays of skin.

The ‘Wrecking Ball’ songstress, who was honored in the category of International Pop, was also completely covered up from head to toe in a black, vintage Jean Paul Gaultier gown from the ’90s, paired with Fendi heels.

With an exaggerated, collar neckline and exploded, circular sleeve-cuffs, this floor-length creation fused all-out glamour with a sci-fi edge, whilst showing us the oft-missed, sophisticated side of Miss Cyrus.

To go with the gown, she painted on a matte oxblood lip and swept back her short blonde quiff.

Since twerking wasn’t an option, she amped up the funk factor via her accessories, namely Lorraine Schwartz jewels, plus an extremely oversized pearl-and-gold Chanel Spring 2014 choker necklace. It was not exactly a necessary piece, given the neckline of the gown. But why nitpick at such as rare sartorial moment as this.
