Kim Kardashian West In Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier – 2017 Forbes Women’s Summit

Kim Kardashian West was giving us serious businesswoman vibes at the 2017 Forbes Women’s Summit on Tuesday (June 13) in New York City.

The reality star exuded confidence in a Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier pinstripe suit. The dreamy long waves look lovely, but I wish she’d gone for a bolder, sleeker look befitting of this blazer-trouser combo.

I’m all for playing with proportions, especially when it comes to androgynous ensembles, but the sleeves feel too long and the blazer too tight. Kim also looks like she’s arrived sans shoes because of the odd trouser length and nude sandal.

With a few tweaks this could have been a winning look for me, what do you think?

Katy Perry In Jean-Paul Gaultier Couture & Sonia Rykiel – Out In Paris & One Love Manchester Benefit Concert

Katy Perry was in Paris on Friday (June 2) before heading to London for the One Love Manchester Benefit Concert on Sunday (June 4).

Out In Paris: While on her way to an radio interview with Nikos Aliagas on TF1, Katy had no need to wear red to stop traffic. This electric, violet-blue hue did the trick. This Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2013 Couture buckle coat dress translated beautifully on her. I love how her platinum pixie cut and white mules brought a mod edge to the striking look.

2017 amfAR Gala Cannes Model Roundup

The models were out in force for the amfAR Gala Cannes on Thursday (May 25) during the Cannes Film Festival.

Elsa Hosk: Striking a pose with a distinct pink, pinup mood, this Ermanno Scervino Fall 2017 gown had all the hallmarks of boudoir dressing with the exposed corset and sheer lace—distracting black heels notwithstanding.

Bianca Balti: What’s this? A model not baring it all? Bianca went for a more conservative stance in a Dolce & Gabbana black gown that oozed of old Hollywood glamour when styled with finger waves, statement jewels, and Gianvito Rossi shoes.

Joan Smalls: Between the length, the ubiquitous slit, and the collar-style neck piece, I wasn’t quite sure what to make of this Elie Saab Spring 2017 Couture dress paired with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and gigantic hoop earrings. Hip-hop, tribal glam?

Cannes Film Festival Day 7 Red Carpet Roundup

Day 7 of the Cannes Film Festival brought with it some stunning entrances as part of the 70th anniversary celebration. Here are more looks that took to the red carpet on Tuesday (May 23)

Irina Shayk: The model wasn’t at the 70th screening but she was at the ‘Hikari (Radiance)’ premiere, where it would seem to have taken the title of the film into account in her lemon-bright Atelier Versace custom gown styled with Lorraine Schwartz canary yellow diamonds to match. The dress was not only sheer Versace with its ruched, slit seductiveness, it was also sheer through and through although its lemony hue somewhat distracted from the see-through effect.

Bianca Balti: For the 70th anniversary screening, Bianca opted for a Dolce and Gabbana Alta Moda embroidered gown styled with DeGrisogono statement earrings. With a faint kimono-esque style, the dress held a sense of restrained elegance—although I did find the embellished heels to be unnecessary to complete the picture.

‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ brought more lovelies to the red carpet on Monday (May 22).

Jourdan Dunn: Jourdan was not ready to give up her sheer ambition yet, after her see-through jumpsuit moment. This Elie Saab Spring 2017 Couture gown was an improvement, as it did resonate with a sense of romantic enchantment in its gilded embroidery. The non-butt-cheek-baring bodysuit also worked in its favour.

Izabel Goulart: I love the subtle lustrous tone of this white Ralph & Russo Couture embellished gown along with its streamlined silhouette that glided over Izabel’s statuesque figure.

Marion Cotillard In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Marion Cotillard was also on the red carpet for the opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts (Les Fantomes d’Ismael)’ at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 17).

With a relaxed sense of seductive allure, she was dressed in a Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown styled with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Chopard jewels.

The juxtaposition between the menswear-inspired pinstripes and the sultry, sculpted bodice with corset detailing was what made this ensemble so intriguing, with her loose waves and subtle makeup adding a romantic outlook.
