Dita von Teese In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ LA Premiere

Dita von Teese was one of the surprise attendees for the ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ premiere on Saturday (December 9) in Los Angeles, California.

The burlesque star wore a Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2017 Couture look that was Bollywood-inspired, while also paying homage to Princess Leia’s iconic hooded dress.

I love how the gold accessories and beading bring – what is essentially draped black velvet fabric – alive.

Fan Bingbing In Iris Van Herpen Couture & Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2018 iQIYI Screaming Night & Tencent Star Awards 2017

Fan Bingbing was at the 2018 iQIYI Screaming Night on Saturday (December 2) before attending the Tencent Star Awards 2017 on Sunday (December 3) in Beijing, China.

2018 iQIYI Screaming Night: The pure technical masterpiece that is an Iris Van Herpen design always takes my breath way, and that didn’t change with the artistry of this Fall 2017 Couture squiggly wave gown styled with De Beers jewels. Not even the return of Fan’s gigantic platforms could divert my eyes from the marvel of the dress.

Katrina Kaif In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards 2017

Katrina Kaif picked up the Trailblazer Of The Year award at the Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards 2017 on Friday (December 1) in Mumbai, India.

This Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2017 Couture gown was imbued with a certain Bollywood flair when presented on the actress.

I like how she pared down the hippie, flower-power angle of the sunflower-printed design and upped the glamour quotient with her statement earrings and pointy pumps.

It almost appears as a completely different dress on her than on the runway.

Solange Knowles In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Solange Knowles joined a host of celebrities including Nicole Kidman and Zendaya Coleman for Glamour’s 2017 Women of The Year Awards on Monday (November 13) in Brooklyn, New York, where she picked up The Artist Award.

I love the subtle fashion forward traits which makes this Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2017 Couture chartreuse velvet gown a powerful look.

Amped up with the futuristic opera gloves, the look was also styled with Y/Project Fall 2017 black leather thigh high spiral strap sandals for added flare and Mateo earrings.

Should Solange have rocked the full runway look, or do you like that she made this look her own?

WSJ Magazine 2017 Innovator Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The WSJ Magazine 2017 Innovator Awards on Wednesday (November 1) in New York City were an elegant affair with many stylish attendees opting for an inky colour palette.

Naomi Campbell: Despite the asymmetrical proportions of her Jean Paul Gaultier Couture outfit, methinks many will be focused on the chain facial jewellery. She went for a show-stopping look, but I wish there were a few less accessories so we could better appreciate the way the dress merges into trousers.

Gwyneth Paltrow:
Donning Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018, the actress tempered a sleek white and black dress with an oversized black blazer. I’m sure many will describe this as shapeless, but I found the proportions refreshing. What’s more, I appreciate the way she carried it off with a relaxed elegance.

Maddie Ziegler:
The dancer struck a pose in a slinky Tommy Hilfiger slip dress which was enlivened by gold zigzags and inky sequined diamonds on the hem. The gold lace-up shoes tied in the frock’s detail while adding a fun element that was appropriate for her 15 years.

Kat Graham In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – ‘Where’s The Money’ LA Premiere

Kat Graham is someone who has fun with fashion and trying different looks. This was evident at the ‘Where’s The Money’ LA premiere on Wednesday (October 18).

The former ‘Vampire Diaries’ actress sported a pinstripe Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2012 Couture suit which was anything but your typical pantsuit. The jacket was the statement piece with a long sleeve and sharp shoulder transforming into a slim scarf wrap. Soft, tapered trousers were a smart counterpoint.

I appreciate Kat experimenting with this look, although I understand it won’t be everyone’s favourite. The only thing I would have liked to see is the lapel worn flat rather than popped as the point of the notched collar against her neck was somewhat distracting.

White Casadei pumps brought out the contrasting details in the suit.

What did you think of the outfit?
