Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Jessica Pare was one of the presenters at the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards, held at the Alice Tully Hall in New York City yesterday evening.

The ‘Mad Men’ actress wore a Jason Wu Fall 2012 dress.

This is the first time I am seeing Jessica outside of the 60s attire worn on the hit TV show, but I love this modern look.

She teamed a black silk devore velvet shirt paired with a hot-pink skirt embroidered with Swarovski Elements and velvet inserts.

Her black Jason Wu black velvet “Lily” pump work with the formal feel of this look.

I would’ve loved her to have opted for a pretty pink lip colour, but she opted to go bare.

Black tassel Tiffany & Co earrings and side-swept updo completed her look.

Sarah Gadon and Emily Hampshire both attended the premiere of their latest movie, ‘Cosmopolis,’ during Cannes Film Festival this evening.

Sarah wore a Jason Wu pre-Fall 2012 dress in a midi strapless style with a black waistband.

Simple Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels completed her look.

Emily’s look was much improved from the photocall.

She’s gone from an extra in ‘Mad Men,’ to something more modern, wearing a sleek black streamline Stella McCartney dress with a draped back.

Silver jewels, a sweeping bun and a coral lip colour completed her look.

Diane Kruger attended the Haiti Carnival benefit for the J/P HRO, Artists For Peace and Justice & Happy Hearts Fund hosted by Armani this evening during Cannes Film Festival.

The German actress gives us our first look at the Jason Wu Resort 2013 collection, which is yet to be presented.

It’s not unusual for the Diane to have first dibs on any Jason Wu collection, but this is fast even by her standards.

Her navy asymmetrical draped chiffon gown with an embroidered Chantilly lace tromp l’oeil slip underlay and an embellished collar was teamed with simple black sandals.

The rest of her accessories included diamond encrusted earrings and a black diamante Judith Leiber embellished clutch.

Diane completed her look with slick back hair and flawless makeup.

One of the best of today? Or have you seen better?

Shailene Woodley and Sean Penn posed onstage at ‘Trophee Chopard In Partnership With Variety Magazine’ at the Martinez Hotel yesterday evening during Cannes Film Festival.

I had this Jason Wu Fall 2012 gown on my wish list for Blake Lively, but instead it has been worn by the ‘Descendants’ actress.

I adore this black silk devore velvet gown with gold medallion embroidery on the shoulders, but I wish Shailene had worn her hair up so it didn’t have to compete with the shoulder details.

A metal waistband and black-and-gold strappy Jason Wu ‘The Egrette’ sandals from the same collection completed her look.

Eva Mendes made a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ this week to promote her new movie, ‘Girl in Progress’.

Ellen being Ellen quizzed the Latin beauty about her relationship with her co-star Ryan Gosling.

She shyly responded that she’s very protective about the relationship, but if I was her I would be shouting it from the rooftops.

Eva wore a Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 ensemble.

The look features a printed top with keyhole details, which is paired with a green pencil skirt with black piping.

Eva’s look may feel very familiar: that’s because Emma Stone wore the gown version of the printed part of this look to the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards.

Kristen Stewart made a guest appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, which is taped in London, where she talked about her new movie, ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.

On the show, which will air on BBC1 today, she wore a Jason Wu Spring 2012 ensemble.

The look featured a sheer striped charcoal long-sleeve top paired with a lime green asymmetrical skirt.

It’s a great look for Kristen, but did she have to wear Bloch Hannah Oxfords?

She has worn them a few times recently, but on this occasion the Jason Wu look deserved at least some gladiator heels.

I shouldn’t complain about her shoes too much because at least they aren’t a total abomination, like the shoes she wore to the Met Gala.

A gold Anita Ko bracelet and a simple ponytail completed her look.

This is a great look for Kristen. Not too edgy, not too girlie.

I can’t wait to see this interview. With Graham’s hilarious quick wit, it will be interesting to see how Kristen responds to his humour.

Catch the interview Friday at 10.35pm on BBC1.
