End Of The Week Roundup

With so many looks over the past week, here is a roundup of a few that were missed in the red carpet crush of events.

Julie Ann Emery: Joining Jenny Slate at the ‘Gifted’ LA premiere on Tuesday (April 4), Julie Ann embraced a minimalist angle in this Ingie Paris gown that was lovely for its aura of simplicity, although it seemed to fall a tad long at the front.

Olivia Culpo: Speaking of minimalism, this greige Cushnie et Ochs asymmetric jumpsuit was an easy-chic offering. But, it really just played second fiddle to her ultra-bronzed beauty at the grand opening celebration of the W Las Vegas on Friday (March 31).

Jess Weixler:‏ Visually enticing, the crisp white lines of this Jason Wu gown punctuated its rich burgundy hue. I only wish the actress had opted for a sleeker updo at ‘The SON’ LA premiere on Monday (April 3).

Diane Kruger Front Row @ NYFW Fall 2017

Diane Kruger is nothing short of a style darling with her penchant for spirited, directional looks, so it’s no surprise she made a string of front row appearances during New York Fashion Week.

Jason Wu: On Friday (February 10), the actress kicked things off at the height of sartorial sharpness with a fresh rendition on a tuxedo jacket dress. The combination of blue hues is just as eye-catching as the precision tailoring, elevated even further by a leopard clutch and strappy nude heels which ensured there was plenty of sass to match the structure of the look.

Prabal Gurung: While it may have appeared as if her sweater dress was falling off her shoulder at the Prabal Gurung show on Sunday (February 12), it was intentional—and all the better for it. It takes a specific girl to pull off this look, and Diane is that girl. She commanded it with brilliant allure, not to mention that the purple colour is simply radiant on her.

Tory Burch: Hopping on the pajama train, she wore a posh PJ ensemble at the Tory Burch show on Tuesday (February 14) that was dressed up by its bold, geometric print and wide obi sash.

Brie Larson In Jason Wu – 2017 SAG Awards

Brie Larson stunned at the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The winner of last year’s SAG Award for Best Actress, wore a gown from Jason Wu.

This dress was a perfectly executed minimal masterpiece that fit her flawlessly.

Wavy tresses, simple Repossi jewelry and black Jimmy Choo ‘Pearl’ sandals completed the expertly calibrated look.

Nicole Kidman In Jason Wu - Photograph 51' Charity Performance After Party

Nicole Kidman attended the ‘Photograph 51’ charity performance after party at the Great Hall On The Strand on Thursday (November 19) in London, England.

The actress wore a Jason Wu Spring 2016 dress which seemingly focuses on the meticulously crafted grid pattern and signature frayed hemline.

Sadly, the styling is a miss for me.

I don’t get the prissy hair with the edgy, studded Gianvito Rossi ‘Marnie’ booties, plus the necklace feels like an after-thought.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw In Jason Wu - Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 7th Annual Governors Awards

Gugu Mbatha-Raw attended the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 7th annual Governors Awards on Saturday (November 14) in Hollywood, California.

My go-to girl for lady-like elegance, opted to make a dramatic entrance wearing a Jason Wu Resort 2016 embellished lace dress.

The dazzling design – kept demure by the length – was styled with complementary rose-gold sandals and the ever reliable Edie Parker pearlized clutch.

Lupita Nyong’o In Jason Wu – 2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Lupita Nyong'o In Jason Wu - 2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Lupita Nyong’o attended the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 9) in New York City.

The Oscar-winning actress wore an open-back gown from Jason Wu’s Spring 2016 collection.

While this gorgeous piece didn’t take to the runway, however, the look was instantly recognisable by the playful ruffled and fringed elements we’ve seen on the both Julianne Moore and Michelle Monaghan.

I adore this look for its simple elegance and refinement. We all know she can carry a vivid print and bold hue, so this was a refreshing change of pace.

Chelsea Paris ‘Esosa’ gold sandals, flawless makeup and a braided updo completed her chic look.
