Miroslava Duma In Jason Wu - Armani Privé Fall 2013 Couture Show

Miroslava Duma continued her chic streak during Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week, joining Anna Dello Russo at the Armani Privé Fall 2013 show at Theatre National de Chaillot yesterday.

After showing us a casual-cool Chanel outing earlier in the day, the petite stylista dressed things up in a Jason Wu Resort 2014 look that she flaunted to perfection.

The midriff-baring bralette top and high-waisted pencil skirt, printed in a greyscale, scattered palm-leaf motif, had a shadowy tropical edge, which put this trendster look on the intriguing map and far from cliché territory.

Even when Mira threw over her shoulders the structured, cropped jacket in the same frond-frenzied print, the separates worked their magic.

She could have definitely lost the necklace, and I would have never missed it.

Diane Kruger In Jason Wu - A Summer Soirée To Benefit ACRIA

Last week, Diane Kruger attended ‘A Summer Soirée to benefit ACRIA’ hosted by Jason Wu at The Glass House in New York City.

The actress is the second star to give us a look at Jason Wu’s Resort 2014 collection, following Kerry Washington at the CFDA Fashion Awards.

Diane selected a blush duchess-satin A-line strapless dress which doesn’t appear in the look book, which she expertly styled with Jason Wu accessories including a blue eel-skin clutch and studded ‘Nadja’ sandals.

The colour is divine against her skin tone. I also love her beauty regime, which is usually kept very simple; on this occasion, as the guest of honour, she gave her look a boost with fuchsia-pink lips and rosy cheeks, completing her look with a slicked-back bun.

Kerry Washington In Jason Wu - 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards

Kerry Washington stunned on the red carpet on Monday evening for the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards held at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The ‘Scandal’ actress wore an eye-popping yellow duchess satin gown from the yet to be released Jason Wu Resort 2014 collection.

She certainly stood out on this red carpet, not only for the bold hue of her gown, but also the enticing open criss-cross back and cascading ruffle detail.

Allowing her natural beauty to shine through, Kerry opted for neutral makeup and a simple bun; choosing only to accessorize with a wooden clutch and yellow statement ring.

So far she is my favourite alongside Olivia Palermo.

Met Gala 2013

Here is a roundup of the rest of the ladies who took to the red carpet for the 2013 Met Gala on Monday evening. Models @ The Met post will follow.

Brooklyn Decker: The actress wore a custom Peter Pilotto look inspired by the Spring 2013 collection. While the look is custom I feel like I have seen this look several times before, so there is nothing fresh or new about it, unlike other custom looks as showcased by Karolina Kurkova and several others. Her Sergio Rossi ‘Hypnos’ sandals, however, are a work of art.

Alicia Keys: The singer took to the red carpet wearing a custom Jason Wu gown. Her black leather and bordeaux sequin embroidered halter gown is beautiful, but I wish Alicia had pushed the punk vibe with the styling a bit more; the red streaks in her hair aren’t enough for me, especially when we know Alicia isn’t afraid of taking a fashion risk. Robert Lee Morris jewels and a vintage clutch completed her look.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: The actress wore a beautiful custom Calvin Klein scarlet gown for the occasion which was punked up as far as she would go with a studded choker and a Tod’s black studded clutch with a gold frame. While I do love this look, I wish Maggie had gone bra shopping before this event.

Jessica Pare in Jason Wu - 2013 Met Gala

‘Mad Men’ star Jessica Pare struck a fierce pose in Jason Wu at the Met Gala tonight.

The structural hybrid top and gown is a departure from what Jason Wu is known for, and Jessica wears is well.

I really think Jessica has nailed this look from top to bottom. The look was styled perfectly on the runway, and the actress mimics that even down to the perfect strappy sandals, which accent the look perfectly.

Her sleek, center-parted updo continues in the modern feel of the gown, and her dramatic blue eyeshadow is navy enough that it isn’t painfully matchy-matchy with the color of the gown.

Major bravo for Jessica!
