Zoe Saldana In Jason Wu – ‘Mr Turner’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Zoe Saldana In Jason Wu - 'Mr Turner' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Zoe Saldana attended the ‘Mr Turner’ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 15) in Cannes, France.

Following her summery look yesterday evening, the actress opted for a more darkly romantic look on this occasion, selecting a Jason Wu Fall 2014 gown.
The black gown with shawl-collar neckline was enriched with green embroidery.

Some of you have been slightly disappointed by the lack of ‘go big or go home’ gowns, so I’m very interested to hear your take on this look.

Does it lack the wow factor expected – no, demanded – at Cannes?

Jennifer Lawrence In Jason Wu – ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ World Premiere

Jennifer Lawrence In Jason Wu - ‘X-Men Days Of Future Past’ World Premiere

Jennifer Lawrence attended the ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ world premiere held at Jacob Javits Center on Saturday (May 10) in New York City.

Yes, you guessed it, she’s not wearing Dior.

Breaking her red carpet run, that spans over a year, the actress shifted gears wearing a Jason Wu Fall 2014 velvet chiffon jacquard bias slip gown styled with Ana Khouri jewels and a black Kotur clutch.

This comes hot off the heels of Marion Cotillard’s non-Dior look earlier this week, so does this mean the brand are loosening the reins on their brand ambassadors?

Let’s hope so, because to say it was becoming predictable was the understatement of the century.

Dakota Johnson In Jason Wu – 2014 Met Gala

Dakota Johnson In Jason Wu - 2014 Met Gala

Dakota Johnson attended the 2014 Met Gala in New York City on Monday (May 5).

Taking the dark and decadent route, the ’50 Shades of Grey’ actress opted for two shades of blue, wearing a custom Jason Wu navy micro-beaded camisole with a navy silk-gauze full skirt styled with a Lee Savage clutch, Christian Louboutin sandals, Carolina Amato black satin gloves with pearl buttons, and Jennifer Meyer 18k yellow-gold channel-set studs.

While the gloves bring the theme into the look, I don’t think they add anything but confusion.

I also wish she’d swept back her hair.

Hilary Rhoda In Jason Wu – Tiffany & Co. Celebrates The 2014 Blue Book

Hilary Rhoda In Jason Wu - Tiffany & Co Celebrates The 2014 Blue Book

Hilary Rhoda joined Katie Holmes, Kate Bosworth and Jessica Biel on the red carpet for Tiffany’s 2014 Blue Book Gala at the Guggenheim Museum on Thursday (April 10) in New York City.

Working a dressy-casual look, the model wore a Jason Wu Spring 2014 look which may not have been a gown, but was considerably more appealing than Katie Holmes’ sartorial choice.

The look featured a navy knit sweater teamed with a bias-cut elegant midi skirt with a beautiful fluid shape that was embellished with shimmering sequins throughout to create a painterly effect.

While the skirt might be a tad too revealing for some, my disappointment lies with her Tabitha Simmons shoes. I would’ve preferred something simple and plain like the navy Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals or the Saint Laurent ‘Jane’ sandals.

Her hideous chosen shoes are so heavily embellished that they almost upstage her skirt.

If you would change one part of this look would it be the sheer embellished skirt or the shoes?

Kerry Washington In Jason Wu – Oscars 2014

Kerry Washington In Jason Wu - Oscars 2014

Kerry Washington, and her baby bump, stunned at the Oscars 2014, hosted Sunday night (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The ‘Scandal’ actress wore a custom-designed Jason Wu amethyst satin crepe gown with a side slit and gold tie bar detail at the bodice.

She accessorized with Jennifer Meyer jewels, including double bracelets and petite earrings, along with embellished platinum pumps.

The beautifully draped dress, which floated over her burgeoning curves, suffered from a few unfortunate wrinkles and was a casualty of the wet weather, given its rain-soaked hemline.

Still, Kerry was undeniably glowing, rocking a vampy oxblood lip and a soft, wavy half-up, half-down ’do.

Jessica Alba In Jason Wu – 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Jessica Alba In Jason Wu - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Jessica Alba was nothing if not white-haute, as she made her way down the red carpet at the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night (January 8) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The actress smoldered in a Jason Wu Spring 2014 design that was anything but plain-white or ordinary.

The true drama was in the details here, as the strapless, front-zipper dress visibly traced the subtle, yet sexy lines of its corset structure and boning. It also laced up the sides for added sultry appeal.

Proving, once again, that white pumps aren’t disappearing anytime soon, her Casadei ‘Blade’ heels were actually just the right fit for this frock.

Adding even more spark to the look, Jessica carried a shiny metallic Rodo clutch and piled on the gold rings—nearly one for every finger—by Eva Fehren, Jennifer Meyer and Dionea Orcini, which only highlighted her lacquered, dark-green manicure. She also wore Jennifer Meyer earrings and an Eva Fehren bracelet.

Of course, her bronzed glow was also a major accessory—that and her super-sleek locks and a frosty pink lip that contributed a fun pop of colour.

‘Girls’ Season Three Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

‘Girls’ Season Three Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more ladies who took to the red carpet joining Anna Wintour, Zosia Mamet, Allison Williams and Lena Dunham on the red carpet for the season three premiere of ‘Girls’ held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Monday (January 6) in New York City.

Jemima Kirke: The actress who plays Jessa on the hit HBO show wore a one-of-a-kind vintage Geminola dress. There’s not a lot to like here. The dress is more like a negligee and the styling is a bit haphazard, to put it as kindly as I can.

Karen Elson: The model wore a Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2014 black crepe floral-caviar-beaded slip dress styled with black Mary Janes and a watermelon-pink lip colour. The shoes are meh, but I do like the dress; I wish she’d vamped up the look more.

Karlie Kloss: The model wore a Calvin Klein ivory georgette sleeveless zip-front belted dress from the Resort 2014 collection. The overall fit is too loose for my liking, especially in the upper regions of the look. I can’t say I’m particularly enamoured with the styling or the makeup.

It’s a triple meh from me.
