Selena Gomez In Jacquemus – 3rd Annual InStyle Awards

Selena Gomez was flying solo on the red carpet for the 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a Jacquemus dress which sees the supercharged tailoring we saw the storm the runway for Fall 2017, give way to a more relaxed silhouette for Spring 2018.

Her LBD pays homage to the 90s wardrobe icon; the slip dress, but this classic is updated with ruched detailing for an even more sensual feel.

Irving Penn Exhibition Private Viewing Hosted by Vogue

A private viewing, hosted by Vogue, for the Irving Penn exhibition at the Grand Palais was held on Sunday (October 1) during Paris Fashion Week.

Adwoa Aboah: Taking a break from walking the runways at Paris Fashion Week, Adwoa posed in a Richard Quinn Spring 2018 look that offered an invigorating, happy mix of ditzy florals. You would think with so many bold, competing prints that this would translate as disjointed. But, on the contrary, I loved this look on Adwoa, and I also credit its success to her minimal approach to the styling, with a black sandal and red pout all she needed. Flower power, indeed.

Kylie Minogue: I think it’s safe to say that Kylie put this Alice McCall ‘More Than A Woman’ fringe gown to work for her—as it was made to be spun around. As fun as it was, I was a bit tassel fatigued and the muted, mauve-pink colour wasn’t my favourite for the vibrancy of the entertainer, but she attempted to bring a splash of vividness via her lipstick.

Dita von Teese: With a look that riffed on the field-of-poppies print from the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2017 Couture collection, Dita maximized proportions with this look. I have mixed feelings on the balloon sleeves, as they might be lumped into a costume-y circus category. But, the colours were striking in contrast to the black pencil skirt.

Olivia Culpo In Jacquemus – Maison St-Germain LA Debut

Olivia Culpo attended the Maison St-Germain LA debut hosted by Lily Kwong at the Houdini Estate on Wednesday (August 2) in Los Angeles, California.

The model wore a Jacquemus shirt? Shirt dress? Featuring the designers signature voluminous puffed billowy sleeves for Spring 2017.

A part of me wants to praise this for being an ultimately cool look, but the left side of my brain feels this is unfinished.

Something tells me a cute pair of shorts would’ve added something along with her Dior pumps.

Kendall Jenner In Jacquemus, Dion Lee & Vatanika out in Paris

When she hasn’t been attending Paris Fashion Week shows, Kendall Jenner has been out and about in the French city on Sunday (July 2) and Monday (July 3).

Sunday (July 2): Casual Parisian flair ran rife through this Jacquemus Fall 2017 black suit that jauntily merged a dramatic,’40s-inspired nipped-in and sculpted jacket with ruched, cropped trousers for a fresh silhouette. A scarf and boyish lace-up loafers enhanced the altogether French mood.

Monday (July 3): While large, statement sunglasses may still dominate many celebrity faces, Kendall has adopted quite the affection for sunnies of the smaller variety. Here, she paired Andy Wolf ‘Ojala’ shades with a bright Dion Lee Resort 2018 pullover. Not only was the colour vibrant, I loved how she effortlessly wore the oversized piece with sporty Vatanika Pre-Fall 2017 cargo shorts along with the feminine, leg-lengthening finish of tall sandals.

Selena Gomez In Jacquemus & Proenza Schouler – ‘Bad Liar’ LA Promotion

After her New York City run of five looks in a day, Selena Gomez hopped across the country to LA to continue the promo for ‘Bad Liar’ on Thursday (June 8).

To start the day, she again returned to the Jacquemus label that she wore so well in NYC. However, the second time wasn’t the charm here, as the stiff nature of the shirt in partnership with the strange line of the capri pants looked rather forced.

The unforgiving structure of the top was also primed and ready for a wardrobe malfunction with overzealous flashes of side-boob.

I found her second look, a Proenza Schouler plisse dress, to be far more effortless and pretty for the entertainer. The metallic accents made it special, with a fresh, girly ponytail to polish it off.

Tod’s sandals rounded out her look.
