Emilia Clarke In J.W.Anderson – 2018 AFI Awards

Emilia Clarke joined Saoirse Ronan and Allison Williams at the 2018 AFI Awards on Friday (January 5) in LA.

This J.W. Anderson frock may have been from the Spring 2018 collection, but its deep forest-green hue felt right on cue for the current season.

I love how the dress is classically sophisticated while presenting a modern vision of femininity in its mixed knit fabrication.

The Christian Louboutin ‘Naseeba’ rainbow sandals were the colouful icing on the cake, adding that extra little flourish to the look.

I’m sure many will be relieved to see that her gothic lip and red eye makeup from the day before were gone, with a fresh-faced approach in its place that really celebrated the star’s natural beauty.

What a difference a day makes.

Naomie Harris In J.W. Anderson – British Vogue’s December Issue Dinner Party

Naomie Harris was one of the fashionable attendees at British Vogue’s December issue dinner party on Tuesday (November 7) in London, joining Alexa Chung and Alicia Vikander to toast Edward Enninful’s first cover.

Supporting British designers, the actress donned a J.W. Anderson Spring 2018 ensemble. The outfit had a sultry feel thanks to the crop top and colour-blocked skirt. The crisscross tie detail on the waist brought a harmonious finish while showcasing her toned physique.

I feel there was a missed opportunity to bring the look into this season with a statement coat. The right piece could have played up the colours without masking any of the details.

The black sandals were a successful addition as they echoed the diagonal lines of the tie detail.

Emilia Schuele In Edited & J.W. Anderson – ‘Simpel’ Hamburg Film Festival Premiere

Emilia Schuele was at the Hamburg Film Festival premiere of ‘Simpel’ on Friday (October 6).

I like how the young German starlet wore a refreshing mix of delicate, mauve-pink with bold, fire-engine-red via this Edited sweater and J.W. Anderson skirt.

The soft tones of her makeup and the sleek bun were right on point, but I would have preferred a more complementary or neutral clutch, as this dark Jimmy Choo bag stuck out a bit.

That was not the case, however, for her nude Tom Ford sandals, as they all but disappeared into her leg line.

Kelsey Asbille In J.W. Anderson – ‘Wind River’ LA Premiere

Kelsey Asbille was also at the ‘Wind River’ LA premiere on Wednesday (July 26), joining Elizabeth Olsen.

The beauty of this J.W. Anderson Fall 2017 look was how gracefully she wore its loosely draped silhouette punctuated by the experimental edge of leather shoulder straps.

The cool, calm, and collected glamour was enhanced by her romantic waves and red lip along with Eva Fehren earrings and Tamara Mellon ‘Reverse Frontline’ sandals.

Did you like her feminine interpretation of the look as much as I did?

Sienna Miller In J.W.Anderson – The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Sienna Miller made a guest appearance on ‘The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Wednesday (April 19) to promote her latest film, ‘The Lost City of Z’.

The actress was serving up new romanticism wearing a deconstructed J. W. Anderson piece which puts a distinctive twist on the classic black dress.

I like how this effortlessly cool, ultra-feminine this look feels, which is why I will always warm to her style.

The look was styled with her favourite Gianvito Rossi ‘Coco’ sandals and a black choker.

Jennifer Lopez In Chloe & J.W. Anderson & Jenna Dewan Tatum In David Koma – NBC’s ‘World Of Dance’ Photocall

Derek Hough, Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Jenna Dewan Tatum make up a quartet of singing, acting, song-writing and dance talent; therefore making them the perfect judges for NBC’s ‘World Of Dance’.

Derek Hough: The dancer opted for a casual approach for Wednesdays (January 25) photo op.

Jennifer Lopez: JLo’s style can be predictable, so I love how she mixed this simple Chloe turtleneck with a more intricate J.W. Anderson tiered skirt.

Ne-Yo: At first glance I was like, how can Ne-Yo attend a photocall with a creased suit? But on closer inspection it’s just the pattern.

Jenna Dewan Tatum: The actress stuck to a strict monochrome palette for her David Koma look which was defined by a powerful, athletic silhouette.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

From Mexico, New York, Leeds to Berlin, we have a host of handsome fellas in the midweek roundup.

Daniel Craig: The actor joined his glamorous co-stars for the ‘Spectre’ Mexico City premiere on Tuesday (November 2) wearing a Thom Sweeney suit. While I prefer Daniel in darker hues, I love how the pale-blue tie enhances his steely gaze.

Liam Hemsworth: For the start of the ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ promo tour, Liam wore a blue windowpane Ermenegildo Zegna three-piece suit with a burgundy polka dot tie and co-ordinated shoes adding some flare.

Jared Leto: The actor joined the Jolie-Pitts for the WSJ. Magazine 2015 Innovator Awards last night (November 4). I love that even when toning things down, Jared’s Saint Laurent Spring 2016 look still possess plenty of flare.
