Minka Kelly In J Brand & Dolce & Gabbana – Marquee At The Star Opening

Minka Kelly hit the red carpet for the opening of Marquee at The Star in Sydney, Australia earlier today.

The brunette actress wore a black J Brand ‘Baez’ leather top with Dolce & Gabbana garden-print pants with tulips, roses and butterflies.

She opted for accessories as colourful as her pants by adding cobalt blue peep-toes and a yellow Jimmy Choo clutch.

Neutral makeup and wavy locks completed her look.

The only thing I’m not sure about is the leather top. It seems an odd choice within a mix of summery pieces.

What do you think?

Christopher Kane x J Brand Collection

Vogue’s Senior Market Editor, Meredith Melling Burke, and Jeff Rudes, CEO of J Brand, hosted a dinner for Christopher Kane to celebrate the launch of the J Brand / Christopher Kane Collection in New York City recently.

The forever-stylish Meredith wore a Christopher Kane Fall 2011 black crepe dress with green gel-filled PVC trims, whilst Christopher wore a shimmering tri-colour Prada Fall 2011 top.

This Christopher Kane for J Brand Resort 2012 collection combines J Brand’s denim expertise with Kane’s innovative designs and love for neon colours.

The collection includes original fit jeans and denim jackets in bold neon colours, crisp black and white, and vintage medium and dark denim washes.

If you are wondering how to work these neon jeans, check out Caroline Sieber, Hanneli Mustaparta and Dree Hemingway who all provide interesting and workable ways to incorporate these bold hues into our closet.

Do you see yourself donning neon denim?

You can shop this collection now at Net-A-Porter US and Net-A-Porter International.

Sidewalk Style: Zoe Saldana’s Diane von Furstenberg Blouse & J Brand Jeans

Zoe Saldana was spotted heading to “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last week wearing a gorgeous casual chic look.

The actress wore a Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2011 ‘Eris’ red orange silk blouse with J Brand ‘Babe’ bell bottom jeans.

I love that she added a red mini cross-body bag to her modern 70s-inspired look.

It’s complementary, stylish and pops again her bright coloured blouse.

Her J Brand jeans are so long (bug-bear) that we can’t see her Christian Louboutin tan sandals in this picture.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge Loves J Brand

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has worn a lot of very conservative looks during her North American tour with husband Prince William.

She’s also worn casual looks as she’s been spotted twice wearing J Brand jeans, which appears to be her favourite brand when it comes to denim.

Today she was spotted about to board a jet to Slave Lake at Yellowknife Airport wearing her navy Smythe blazer, navy luxe twill J Brand “811” mid-rise skinny pants and Nine West Cheyanne wedges.

Yesterday the same pants with a Burberry shirt on a visit to Yellowknife, Canada.

On Monday she competed in a dragon boat race with William wearing the same jeans.

Yep, she’s worn these J Brand jeans 3 days in a row.

The last two looks were paired with Sebago Bala shoes, which mean she packed at least 5 pairs of shoes for this trip including her much loved L.K. Bennett nude pumps, the Tabitha Simmons pumps and navy Prada pumps.

Sidewalk Style: Khloe Kardashian In Burberry Prorsum & J Brand

Khloe Kardashain and Lamar Odom were spotted dining together at Cafe Med in West Hollywood this week.

The reality TV star opted to wear a black lace long sleeve top with J Brand skinny leg jeans.

I can deal with the red jeans – I used own a pair in the 90s so I don’t feel I can judge – but I really dislike the sloppy way she’s wearing her Burberry Prorsum Fall 2011 shearling boots.

Each to their own, but I think they look better buckled up.

She must really like these boots because she also owns the ankle boot version.

A dove grey Balenciaga bag completed her look.
