Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Pop Of Colour Award
Keke Palmer sparkled on the red carpet at the 2011 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, which was held at The Galen Center in LA yesterday.

The actress wore a stunning black sequin Ina Soltani one long-sleeved mini dress which showed off her amazing figure.

The pop of colour came via her Jimmy Choo Candy acrylic clutch in fluorescent neon-yellow.

Black wedges and a gorgeous smile completed her sassy, but not too sexy for a kids show look.

Best Use of Embellishments Award
Anika Noni Rose looked stunning on the red carpet of the2011 NAACP Image Awards which took place in LA this weekend.

“The Good Wife” actress wore a stunning Ina Soltani gown.

The gorgeous eggplant paillette cap sleeve open back gown was accessorized with diamond drop earrings from the ‘Open Hearts by Jane Seymour’ collection.

I would’ve loved this look with a chic updo, but she looks beautiful either way.

Last night Carrie Underwood co-hosted the 2010 CMA Awards for the third year.

She entertained the audience not only with her wit, but also with her 7 wardrobe changes.

The looks ranged from mini to colourful to the dramatic purple gown above which was designed by Randi Rahm.

She wore this purple asymmetrical satin gown with an eggplant embellished underskirt when she performed “Mama’s Song.”

This is quite a spectacular gown.

My absolute favourite look was her Georges Chakra Fall 2010 Couture dress which I’ve been dying for her to wear since I saw the dress on the runway back in July.

The ivory pleated tulle ballerina dress is even more adorable on her than I had imagined.

I love the bodice which is decorated with ruby rhinestone floral details.

Her remaining looks are below. Read more…

Last night on the X Factor Cheryl Cole wasn’t the first to wear the purple and pink Ina Soltani Fall 2010 dress.

Actress Lucy Liu wore the same dress back in April when she attended the Actors Fund Annual Gala in New York City.

The petite actress wore her hair back in a bun and complemented her black velvet belt with black YSL pumps and a black clutch.

Cheryl wins this for me as I prefer the length of her skirt, her hairstyle and her matchy purple pumps.

Lucy’s black accessories don’t really work for me.

Cheryl Cole finally opted for something really colourful on Sunday nights X Factor results show.

The brunette beauty wore an Ina Soltani Fall 2010 two-tone dress.

Her silk hot pink and purple mini dress with a pleated dramatic bodice and black velvet belt was paired with matching purple suede Christian Louboutin pumps.

Cheryl’s hair has been the topic of much debate this season, but I really liked her chic updo last night.

de Grisogono jewels and the gorgeous smile completed her look.
