Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Oprah Winfrey was beaming with joy at the inaugural graduation for the Leadership Academy for Girls in Henley on Klip, South Africa earlier today.

The graduates, who were all dressed in white, were just as excited to share their accomplishments with Oprah.

Fashion would’ve been the last thing on on their minds at this event, but it has to be noted that Oprah looked so very charming and graceful wearing an Honor Fall 2011 dress.

Her emerald green silk chiffon dress was accessorized with a multi-colour tasseled belt, flat sandals and emerald jewels.

The former TV host founded the Leadership Academy for Girls in January 2007 in an effort to provide leadership and educational opportunities for gifted girls from impoverished backgrounds.

At the celebration she said, “I’m one proud momma today, I always held the vision that this day was possible.”

Shailene Woodley attended the 2012 AFI Awards in Beverly Hills on Friday afternoon.

After wowing us in Calvin Klein at the Critics’ Choice Awards, the actress opted for a girlier look on this occasion wearing a cream Honor Spring 2012 lace dress.

Nude lining, scalloped hems and a simple ponytail add to the sweet ensemble.

We are only slightly turned off because of the black and cream Stella McCarteny two-tone faux leather Mary Janes which seem too heavy for the lightness of the look.

Perhaps if she had worn a black belt they may have worked, or just a simpler sandal.

I also wish she’d kept the Peter Pan collar.

Ahna O’Reilly joined her castmates to accept the ‘Best Movie Acting Ensemble,’ for ‘The Help’ at the 2012 Critic’s Choice Awards this evening in L.A.

Wearing an Honor Spring 2012 dress, Ahna looked ready for Easter in a bevy of pastels.

Her Little Bo Peep-esque dress with a white skirt overlay, hiding much of the runway’s original yellow skirt was paired with lavender Casadei wedges.

A side bun and glossy pink lips complete the look.

Do you like this look or is it too saccharine sweet?

Kristin Chenoweth co-hosted the 2011 American Country Awards last night with Trace Adkins at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

My first reaction to this Honor Fall 2011 gown was, ‘Blake Lively, is that you?’

This emerald chiffon bustier gown would’ve worked better on someone like Blake.

It kinda screams desperate on Kristin, but I’m sure many of you would say the same had Blake worn it.

Kristin’s shoes are tres boring, but I guess the purpose of this look wasn’t for anyone to be focusing on her shoes.

Kirsten Dunst was in London last night for the UK Premiere of her latest movie, ‘Melancholia’ which was held at The Curzon Mayfair.

The blonde actress becomes one of the first to get her hands on a look straight from the Spring 2012 runways, as she wore an Honor Spring 2012 dress.

Her whimsical paisley print bustier dress with a ruffled neckline was paired with navy pumps and dazzling earrings.

I would’ve pictured this type of dress on someone cutesy like Taylor Swift, but it works just as well on Kirsten.

A beautiful sweeping updo completed her look.

The only thing that makes me go hmmm…are her navy Nicholas Kirkwood pumps, but I like everything else.

Amber Heard looked sensational at NBC’s 2011 TCA Summer Press Tour which was held at The Bazaar at the SLS Hotel in LA yesterday.

The beautiful blonde wore an Honor Spring 2011 dress.

Her ‘Mod Marilyn’ black dress which has a black plunging top and a flared textured skirt was paired with Brian Atwood ‘Marcella’ pumps.

The difference between the ‘Maniac’ and the ‘Marcella’ is gold pin heel.

Her dress is gorgeous, but I’m totally blown away by how perfect her hair and make-up are.

I hope Rosamund Pike is taking notes.

I would like to avoid the obvious Charlize Theron comparison, but it’s most apparent here.
