Prince Carl Philip Of Sweden And Princess Sofia of Sweden’s Wedding Guests

Prince Carl Philip Of Sweden And Princess Sofia of Sweden's Wedding Guests

Princess Sofia of Sweden and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden welcomed guests to their wedding at The Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday (June 13).

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden: Escorted by husband Prince Daniel of Sweden, Princess Victoria swept onto the scene in an H&M gown from the Conscious Collection that was most magnificent for its watery, painterly hues that were well-coordinated to her regalia. A decorative Connaught tiara, worn by her for the very first time, added sparkling royal flair to the look. If the dress looks familiar, it’s because Olivia Wilde wore the skirt version at the 2015 Elle Style Awards.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway: Pretty in pink, she brought a wave of feminine, summery spirit in a Temperley London gown most notable for the vibrant orchid print that decorated the ball skirt.

2015 Met Gala Roundup

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

A flurry of even more bold names descended on red carpet of the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), where their colourful variety of looks only contributed to this year’s fashion extravaganza.

Anna Wintour
: As the gala co-host, the ‘Vogue’ editor-in-chief dressed thematically (for her, anyway) in a Chanel Spring 2015 Couture gown featuring dimensional, all-over poppy embroidery, which had been lengthened from the runway’s original shorter version. She should have maintained her signature cap sleeve, as the flower petal statement shoulders translated as a bit cumbersome, despite their inherent artistry.

Bee Shaffer: Like her mother, Bee also found inspiration in flowers, opting for a mahogany blossom gown by Alexander McQueen. I much preferred this look to Anna’s, especially with the enchantment of the beautifully embroidered Chinese cranes that alighted down the back of the dress.

Sarah Jessica Parker In H&M – 2015 Met Gala

Sarah Jessica Parker In H&M - 2015 Met Gala

Sarah Jessica Parker easily commanded the red carpet upon her theatrical arrival at the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

Those wishing for a dramatic look that embodies the evening’s Chinese theme will find no fault with the extravagance of her statement here.

What may be more unexpected is that she has embraced high-street for the evening, wearing a custom H&M one-shoulder gown embellished by a large red flower and tapestry-style runner and complemented by Cindy Chao brooches.

But the real star of the show—the crown jewel of her look—was the fiery, flame-wielding headpiece by Philip Treacy, adorned with pom poms and tassels.

What I love most is not the look, per se, but that SJP has never been one to shirk a good Met Gala theme, taking full advantage of the spirit of the evening with her artfully experimental and creatively over-the-top looks that are nothing if not memorable.

Olivia Wilde In H&M Conscious Collection – Conscious Commerce Celebrate The Conscious Pop-Up Shop

Olivia Wilde In H&M Conscious Collection - Conscious Commerce Celebrate The Conscious Pop-Up Shop

Conscious Commerce, founded by Olivia Wilde and Barbara Burchfield, is an experiment in living (and shopping) with a conscience.

Conscious Commerce is a unique take on philanthropy. Instead of asking people to donate to a good cause out of guilt or even a sense of obligation, Conscious Commerce asks people to donate to charity simply by buying products they want anyway.

The celebration of the opening of The Conscious Pop-Up Shop on Tuesday (April 14) in New York was hosted at an H&M store in the city with Olivia Wilde in attendance.

Showcasing her sustainable style and working a clean silhouette, the actress wore an expertly tailored H&M Conscious Collection white suit, with cape-style split sleeves for an ultra modern, uber cool vibe.

Instead of styling the look with a cami or blouse, Olivia injected some rocker attitude via her vintage Led Zeppelin tee.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup 23 march

The past few days have been filled with a range of menswear looks—from traditional to trendsetting. Here, a look at the highlights.

Channing Tatum: The actor attended the 26th annual GLAAD Media Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday (March 21) in California. Looking dapper in a dark Prada three-piece suit with contrasting navy tie, he and his striking wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, only heightened each other’s respective hot factor.

David Beckham: For the presentation of the new ‘Modern Essentials by H&M’ collection at the H&M Gran Via store in Madrid, Spain on Friday (March 20), Becks naturally wore an H&M ensemble paired with adidas sneakers. The classic suit separates paired with a relaxed T-shirt was sporty and simple with the crisp pop of white from the shoes, yet I do wish there were fewer visible creases in the pants. That more robust beard will also take some getting used to, as I barely recognize the soccer stud with it.

Brad Goreski
: The ‘Fashion Police’ star was also at the GLAAD Media Awards, donning a Valentino skinny brown suit with contrasting Christian Louboutin flats, which was perfectly in keeping with his spirited, cheeky style. I love the whimsical personality of the flutter of colourful butterflies and the additional pop from the three-tone shoes.
