Sofia Vergara In Herve L. Leroux – 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards

Sofia Vergara put a whole new spin on ‘going green’ at the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards last night at Alice Tully Hall in New York City’s Lincoln Center.

The vivacious, ‘Modern Family’ star brought out her signature va-va-voom style in a gown by Herve L. Leroux that surprisingly wasn’t strapless.

While the hourglass silhouette was nothing new, the vivid, grassy colour and the figure-flattering draping is what made this look seem like more of a standout.

It’s not like Sofia to not slightly overdo things, and the CFDA Awards were no exception. But there’s no better way to push the over-the-top embellishment boundaries than with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

A collar of emeralds and diamonds drew even more attention to the actress’s décolletage, not that she needed help in this category, while matching earrings and a chain finger-bracelet on each wrist provided more bling.

Long sultry waves and a perfect burgundy-red pout completed this brunette bombshell’s entrance.

Heather Graham In Herve L. Leroux – ‘The Hangover Part III’ LA Premiere

Heather Graham attended the LA premiere of ‘The Hangover Part III’ in Westwood, California on Monday evening.

The blonde beauty wore a figure-flattering Herve L. Leroux goddess-green gown that accentuated her lean, yoga-toned figure.

A selection of chunky jewels including a diamond-and-emerald-stone statement necklace and chunky cuffs accessorized her look, along with a gold clutch.

Her blonde curls were swept to one side, finishing the look with a frosty-pink lip colour to complete her head-to-toe perfect BDOTW-worthy look.

Heather always looks great on the red carpet, but this has to be one of her best ever looks.

Sofia Vergara In Herve L. Leroux – 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Sofia Vergara joined her ‘Modern Family’ co-star Julie Bowen for Saturday night’s 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, D.C..

The actress took to the red carpet wearing a gorgeous teal-blue Herve L. Leroux gown.

Her draped gown was a surprisingly demure choice for the actress, even with the cut-out details.

Instead of letting it all hang out, she added a lot of pink jewels courtesy of Lorraine Schwartz to add some spice to her look.

She probably overdid it with the jewels and I wish the clutch was a lot smaller but, since her chest wasn’t the focus of this look for a refreshing change, I would give her a pass.

Wavy locks and glossy lips completed her look.

Jessica Chastain In Hervé L. Leroux – The Tonight Show With Jay Leno

On Monday night, Jessica Chastain made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’ after attending the Academy Awards nominees luncheon and prior to her hitting the red carpet at the Hollywood Reporter Nominees’ Night 2013.

The busy ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ actress showed off her enviable figure wearing a Hervé L. Leroux dress.

Her chocolate-brown dress, with a scoop neckline and flounce hemline, was styled with nude Louboutin pointed-toe pumps.

A wavy hairstyle and a pink lip colour completed her look.

While I love this look, especially as brown can be tricky to pull off, I still think her Erdem dress is her best look so far this week.

W Magazine Celebrate The Golden Globes Red Carpet Round Up

Here are the rest of the looks from W Magazine’s celebration of the Golden Globes, held at the Chateau Marmont in California last night. It appears the dress code for the evening was wear something blue or gold.

Jennifer Lawrence: Feeling like our prayers have finally been answered, the ‘Silver Lining Playbook’ actress wore her second non-black look in a row. Looking more like the fresh-faced bubbly young actress we fell in love with this time last year, she wore an ocean-blue Victoria Beckham fitted dress with slash details on the shoulders. Opting for conservative accessories she carried a gold clutch wore black peep-toes heels and added Sylva & Cie jewels.

Frieda Pinto: The Indian beauty also opted for a striking oceanic colour wearing a blue sleeveless Missoni dress with a flared skirt and brocade panels. Her Roger Vivier black satin peep-toes with an turquoise feather accents managed to upstage her gorgeous dress.

Kerry Washington: Fresh off her successful ‘Django Unchained’ promo tour, Kerry didn’t slouch in the style stakes upon her return to LA. Dressed in a printed Stella McCartney jumpsuit the look was styled with bright-blue pieces including a Reed Krakoff blazer and an electric-blue Roger Vivier clutch.

Jena Malone: With a big-budget movie to promote this year, Jena kick started her year wearing a fanciful printed frock from the Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2013 collection. Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Orner’ black suede strappy sandals and a gold clutch accessorized her look, with a hot-pink lip colour and cat-eyes providing the finishing touches.

2012 ALMA Awards Red Carpet Round Up

Many more stars hit the red carpet at the 2012 ALMA Awards on Sunday evening.

Christina Aguilera: The judge for ‘The Voice’ may have covered up her arms in this lace-accented Michael Kors dress, but she showed a lot of leg via her side slit. I have to say I loved this look, even with the Christian Louboutin ‘Decorapumps’, as they perfectly coordinate with her silver clutch and jewels. The one thing I didn’t like was the purple ponytail.

Olga Segura: Up and coming Mexican actress, Olga Segura, who will soon start promoting her latest movie ‘Border Run’ with Sharon Stone, proved she is one to watch by standing out on this red carpet wearing a bright orange Herve L Leroux gown. Her plunging gown was styled with gold accessories including a Judith Leiber clutch and Arunashi cuff.

Cote de Pablo: Here we have yet another black gown on the ALMA red carpet. Cote also selected a gown with a thigh-high slit, but her MaxMara gown also has a flirty polka-dot panel. A stylish top-knot and drop-dead gorgeous emerald Swarovski earrings, an Swarovski emerald crystal ring and black black satin Swarovski clutch completed the look.
