Nice, But No Wow Factor Award
Taraji P. Henson’s hair and make-up were flawless at the 41st Annual NAACP Image Awards.

The actress opted for a Herve L. Leroux bandage dress which did look amazing on her toned body.

The peacock colour is gorgeous but I’m not feeling any kind of wow factor from this look.

Maybe a few more accessories or a stand out clutch would’ve made me fall in love with this look.

Lea Michele appears to be the official “Glee” representative.

The actress has graced the red carpet at nearly every high profile event over the past few weeks from the Grammy Awards to the DGA Awards this weekend.

The star looked breath-taking in this nude Herve L. Leroux gown.

It really gives her an amazing sleek silhouette, but I can’t help but think she would’ve look so much better in navy, forest green or even black.

I’m guessing she opted for a bright pop of red on her lips to prevent her seeming too washed out or one-tone.

I wanna fall head-over-heels in love with this look, but some thing’s holding me back.

Penelope Cruz wore a Armani Privé Spring 2005 black gown with a mermaid tail.

I like the lace the detail around the bust a shoulder line but I’m a little bored by Penelope in black again.

I feel that she’s trying to channel her Spanish roots here but it somehow looks a little messy.

Glenn Close sparkled in this black Oscar de la Renta floor length Fall 2009 dress.

I just feel it isn’t special enough for the Globes.

The bust line of the dress and the bare shoulders make her arms look too muscular.

Rose Byrne wore a Lanvin Pre-Fall 2010 dress in a deep purple with a bow detail at the waist.

I’m glad Rose decided to wear the dress in this colour but I apart from that I’m left feeling a little bored.

Kate Hudson walked the red carpet in a Marchesa Bridal Spring 2010 gown with sculptured band bodice and bottom flared skirt.

I just can’t make you my mind about this. Part of me is thinking “what the hell?” and the other part doesn’t mind it so much.

I’ve never really got why stars wear bridal looks on the red carpet but I’m actually quite drawn to the sculpting on the dress.

The shoes are way too heavy though.

Jaime Pressly is shimmering in this Kevan Hall Spring 2010 dress with a split up one side.

I prefer this dress on the model as I feel that it has more of an impact against brunette hair.

I don’t think the champagne coloured clutch compliments this dress at all.

Jenna Fischer wore a dress from Halston’s Spring 2010 collection.

I like it but I don’t love it. I just can’t see how this dress is event appropriate. This is a star’s chance to shine and this dress is never going to deliver that moment.

After wowing us in her red Bottega Veneta ensemble last week, Penelope Cruz appears to be on a roll as she looked outstanding wearing a forest green custom Herve L. Leroux gown to the Berlin premiere of “Los Abrazos Rotos (Broken Embraces)” yesterday.

I adore her draped one-shoulder gown as its such a classic red carpet look.

She really got everything right from the make-up, the subtle jewelry and her hair pulled back to show-off her neckline.

Regular readers will know that during awards season I was really frustrated with Cruz, but she appears to be back on top of her game.

Despite this laid back casual look for the “Broken Embraces” photocall in Berlin, Penelope still looks very glamorous in jeans, a black blazer, a chiffon print blouse and black peep-toes.

Megan Fox didn’t let a bit of rain ruin her red carpet moment. She still smouldered wearing a black Herve Leroux black jersey pencil dress.

The dress is detailed with a sheer neckline and bodice, which adds the right kind of sassy sex appeal, to her LBD.

Brian Atwood’s “Wagner” peep-toe pumps, and a gold mesh Amrapali cuff complete the look.

Where did this sexy sophistication come from? I really like it.

The dress Megan wore to the press conference, was a lot less sassy, and more cute and girlie.

Her Thomas Wylde Castile chain embellished dress was a great contrasting look, but it had a cheeky slightly harder edge, with pewter hardware, and a graphic barbwire print.

Her look was completed with Versace Fall 2008 white platform heels.

I love the dress, I even like her white heels with the dress – and hate white shoes.

But the make-up…..YIKES. It’s not even close to being the right shade.
