Adrianne Palicki looked stunning as she arrived on the red carpet last night for the LA premiere of her new movie “Legion” which also stars Paul Bettany, Tyrese Gibson and Kate Walsh.

The actress who usually sports blonde locks opted for a darker hue of classic marcel waves, which I love along with that pop of red on her lips.

She wowed the fans wearing a body hugging Hervé Léger by Max Azria white bandage dress, paired with nude heels, a sparkling clutch and Martin Katz jewels.

The dress was embellished to allow the actress to sparkle and stand out on this red carpet.

Do you think this look is BDOTW worthy?

Worst Dressed Award
I never liked this Zac Posen Resort 2010 dress on the runway, and I’m sorry to say but I think it’s even worse on Tina Fey.

The print is quite garish and I just hate this awkward length on the skirt.

The only thing I did like were her nude satin Christian Louboutin bow T dorect peep toe d’orsay heels.

Most Predictable Award
We get it, we get it Mariah Carey.

You’ve got big boobs, but must show them off at every occasion?

I did applaud Mariah’s attempt become more sophisticated on the red carpet, but she’s slowly slipped back to tackyville.

Next time please cover up the twins and try to discover what demure and sophisticated means.

Inappropriately Dressed Award
Perrey Reeves looks great in her black and teal Herve Leger dress, but it’s NOT event appropriate.

Had it been a gown it would’ve worked better for me, but this dress was way to casual.

I Guess You Couldn’t Be Bothered To Dress Up Award
Julia Roberts wore a very simple black knee-length vintage YSL dress.  So simple it bored me to tears.

OK the necklace jazzes it up a bit, but I can’t help feeling that her poor stylist had to fight to get her to wear it.

She carried a Christian Louboutin clutch.

Most Disappointed Award
The one person I was looking forward to seeing on this red carpet was Carey Mulligan.

Unfortunately I wasn’t wowed by her navy and black organza Nina Ricci Spring 2010 modified gown.

I think the runway version is way more interesting with the asymmetrical neckline and the lace skirt.

Her look was completed with Fred Leighton jewels.

Worst Supported Award
For someone who’s spent a lot of time promoting bra’s I was very surprised at Heidi Klum’s lack of support in her ice blue Roberto Cavalli dress.

Too Sombre Award
Maybe it was the weather but I just wasn’t feeling the lack of colour in January Jones’ look.

Normally she wears lots of bright colours, but it was  her black Lanvin gown really gave me the blues.

I also really disliked that heavy black headband.

9th Annual New York Times Arts & Leisure Weekend, New York

Natalie Portman has done something many of us wish we could have done…got our hands on the Rodarte for Target collection.

The petite actress wore a mustard slip dress, with a cute tulle overlay and a bow details on the shoulders which was featured in Teen Vogue.

She covered up wearing a black belted cardigan, whilst completing her look with Stella McCartney booties.

Natalie’s dress is now sold out, but you can find other pieces on from this collection on Target’s website.

Theatre Royal, London

Anna Friel was spotted leaving the Theatre Royal in London after her final performance of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” looking sensational wearing a Herve Leger Resort 2010 black and white bandage dress.

Like most of us in London she sported a (faux) fur coat in a bid to keep warm.

2010 NBC Universal’s Press Tour Cocktail Party, LA

When I saw this pretty pink Elise Øverland Resort 2010 dress on Melanie Brown, I was considering giving her a first ever compliment.

On reflection everything feels heavily weighted to the right with her one-sleeved dress and side-swept bun.

Also the necklace was so unnecessary with this pretty dress.

Close…but no Zig-a-zig-ha.

Dior Cocktails For Marion Cotillard And “Nine”, New York

Miss Dior aka Marion Cotillard looked beautiful wearing a silver lurex Christian Dior dress, which reminds me of the dress Charlize Theron wore last year.

I love the dress and the ruby pumps, but not so keen on the poodle perm.

“Leap Year” New York Premiere

A Pea In A Pod is the usual destination for expectant celebrities, but Amy Adams has Ms. Carolina Herrera on speed-dial.

The designer has reworked pieces from her current collections to create a custom-made wardrobe for Amy which included this red silk georgette dress.

I guess Ms. Herrera has found her new muse. Amy is glowing.

How I Met Your Mother`s 100th Episode Celebration, LA

Alyson Hannigan – the People’s Choice Favorite TV Actress – walked the red carpet wearing a BCBG printed dress with a cascading ruffle front.

She kept her accessories simple adding black clutch and Jimmy Choo “Lace” black patent sandals.

Best Dressed Award
I’m not going to waste anytime harping on about how much I dislike Jessica Alba, because when it comes to the red carpet for me it’s all about the dress.

And WOW what a dress.

The Antonio Berardi Spring 2010 collection was dubbed as the Megan Fox collection due to all the overtly sexy mini dresses on display, but it was a yummy mummy who did it justice.

Jessica gave Fergie and Cameron Diaz a run for their money in the most enviable legs department in this silver mini dress with a peplum at the waist.

She could have killed this look with a boring pair of heels, but I’m in total lust with her Burberry Prorsum Spring 2010 platforms.

Hair, make-up, dress, heels are all totally perfect.

10 out of 10.

Best Clutch Award
One of my Girl Crushes of 2009 Katie Cassidy started the year in perfect style walking the red carpet looking sensational wearing a Talbot Runhof Spring 2010 mini dress.

The short sleeve mother of pearl iridescent cocktail dress has a draped detail at waist and foiled accents at the hem and on one shoulder.

Sporting an Alexander Wang-style messy plait, she completed her look with a gorgeous Judith Leiber package clutch, and champagne satin heels.

“Don’t Stop Believing” Glee Award
Just when I’d given up all hope of ever seeing the Christian Lacroix Spring 2009 collection on the red carpet, Ginnifer Goodwin delighted me by wearing this cute sassy striped number from said collection.

The shoes are a bit plain, but I love the rosette detail on the shoulder and skirt.

I’m glad she didn’t over accesorize this look.

Back To Her Best Award
After a few question moments in both the wardrobe and make-up department, Taraji P. Henson is back to her best in this stunning lilac Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2009 one-shoulder gown.

I love EVERYTHING about this look, especially the make-up which complement her gown.

Best Shoes Award
I’m normally all about the dresses, but I was drooling over Carrie Underwood’s Rock & Republic black strappy heels.

It looks like Carrie has finally said ‘goodbye’ to blingy dresses, because wore a stunning nude Christian Cota Spring 2010 dress with a black cage embroidered overlay.

She’s appears to have also said ‘goodbye’ to the 200lbs of weave she used to sport, opting for a this shorter sleek style which really suits her.

Johnathon Arndt jewels and a Lauren Merkin clutch complete this look.

Best Dressed Teen Award
Whilst I was less than enthused with Teen singer Demi Lovato, I was very impressed with Taylor Swift.

She also wore a Jenny Packham Resort 2010 dress, but she didn’t over accessorize her look.

Simple earrings, a matching bracelet and silver peep-toes complemented her strapless dress which was embellished with crystals.

I Hope She’s Warming Up Award
Diane Kruger looked beautiful on the red carpet wearing a white Herve Leger mini dress with Emilio Pucci cut-out studded sandals and a Bottega Veneta clutch, but I wasn’t blown away.

I’m hoping she’s warming up by starting off slow before she knocks us out at the bigger events.

Best Embellishments Award
Kate Walsh always looks like she’s having fun on the red carpet and this occasion is no different.

The actress looked gorg wearing a vintage 1960s Sarmi sequined dress from Decades Inc with Casadei heels.

Best Hair Award
Sandra Bullock looked amazing wearing a very distinctive gold brocade Vivienne Westwood bustier dress which she paired with nude Brian Atwood “Maniac” Pumps which is are celebs favourite heels.

I’m loving that mahogany colour of her poker straight hair.

Love The Dress Hate The Hair Award
I LOVED Hayley Williams dress.

At first I was convinced it was from Luella as it has the playful girly feel to it, but I unfortunately was wrong.

The voluminous skirt and pretty bows make this dress so beautiful and unique, but I just don’t love her hair.

If she’d had jet black hair, I would have loved the overall look more.

Classic Elegance Award
Whilst most opted for mini cocktail dresses Kathryn Morris glided down the red carpet wearing a Pamella Roland midnight blue satin asymmetrical off the shoulder gown which I simply adore.

I so prefer this colour to black.

Most Improved Award
I wouldn’t normally pay much attention to Niecy Nash on the red carpet but she blew me away in this stunning pink Tadashi Shoji jersey draped one shoulder gown.

One of her finest red carpet moments.

Best LBD Award
Alyson Hannigan’s LBD is super simple, but her Rene Caovilla satin rose accented heels make the overall look interesting plus she’s so damn gorgeous what’s not to love?

Baby Steps Award
I know some of you are still not ready believe Mariah Carey has turned a corner style-wise, but I think she continues to take baby steps in the right direction.

Her Ysa Makino white beaded halter gown with sweetheart neckline is another perfect choice for her.

On The Fence Award
Hmmm…I’m very much on the fence when it comes to Lisa Edelstein’s David Meister gown.

I love the embellished neckline, but I think there’s too much skirt in her skirt.

January 6th, 2010

Effortlessly chic as always Marion Cotillard walked the red carpet wearing a one shoulder black Elie Saab dress with a 3/4 sleeve and an exaggerated shoulder.

I love the hair and make-up with this look. Like Penelope Cruz earlier, the less make-up they appear to be wearing the more beautiful they are.

The French actress is widely known for wearing Dior, on this occasion she opted for a pair of Dior Fall 2009 heels which added a touch of glamour to her look along with a Christian Louboutin Lolita studs clutch.

Mariah Carey has been up for several awards following her success in the movie “Precious”. As a result she has started dressing more aappropriately on the red carpet.

Gone are the dresses 2 sizes too small with necklines that plunge to her belly button, and in comes this stunning Herve Leger gown covered in sparkling black sequins which she pairs a with a cropped cardigan.

Mariah wouldn’t be Mariah without some bling and a butterfly, and this is exactly how she accessorized her look.

Anna Kendrick looks divine wearing a layered strapless J.Mendel dress which we first saw on Amanda Seyfried in the August 2008 edition of Vanity Fair’s Bright Young Hollywood Issue.

I loved the lilac sash paired with the dress when Amanda wore it, so looking as Anna I feel like that’s what would have made this look even better.

Gold Jimmy Choo “Nina” strappy sandals and a wavy updo complete the look.

December 4th, 2009

Despite the £6,800 price tag, this Herve Leger metal pailette embellished bandage dress sold out not long after it was uploaded onto Net-A-Porter.

And it’s no wonder considering two of music hottest divas have been seen wearing it.

Jennifer Lopez was in Club LIV in Miami to showcase the video for her new single back in October wearing this Herve Leger dress.

Jennifer looked stunning as always, wearing her mirrored mini dress with black Christian Louboutin Differa sandals.

Singer Shakira wore the same dress on stage and in the press room at the 2009 American Music Awards.

I didn’t like the way she styled her hair, plus I prefer Jennifer’s Differa sandals, so JLo wins for me.

I’m so upset I couldn’t find a full-length picture of Dita von Teese, but I will guess she was wearing Louboutin’s with her Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 polka dot dress.

As usual Dita picked the perfect dress for her unique style.

I love the voluminous shoulders and the seashell accents on her bodice.

Red lippie as standard.

Anna Mouglalis was one of the few celebrities invited to the romantic Chanel Resort 2010 presentation.

Here she wears her second piece from that collection.

Her gold and black mini dress was paired with the runway cardigan of the same distinct gold detail.

A black and gold clutch, plus black tights and pumps complete the look.

Elsa Pataky always looks so amazing whether she’s wearing Armani Prive, Elie Saab or this black and grey Herve Leger bandage dress.

I love that jagged neckline.
