Sarah Jessica Parker In Halston Heritage – Robin Hood Foundation Gala

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the Robin Hood Foundation Gala in New York City yesterday, and it looks like her hairstylist was inspired by Cheryl Cole.

The ‘Sex And The City’ star sported voluminous lion-esqe mane with her Halston Heritage Fall 2011 gown.

Her purple cashmere racer-back sweater dress with a matching full-length cardigan was paired with a blue Fendi Fall 2011 clutch with marine blue stones and diamond earrings.

SJP seems to love the colour purple.

She was recently spotted wearing a purple coat from the same Fall 2011 collection.

Love the dress, but the jury is still out on the hair.

Michelle Obama In Halston – 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Michelle Obama hosted the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, DC with her husband this weekend.

The First Lady opted to wear a beautiful Halston Fall 2008 gown.

Her coffee coloured gown has been modified slightly as the plunge on her dress isn’t so deep.

Michelle is known for her love of accessorizing with beautiful jewelry – Erickson Beamon and Alexis Bittar are her favourites.

On this occasion I think her Irit Design jewels are overkill. I would’ve preferred this look without them.

The gown is so simple and charming on its own plus the colour is so gorgeous on her, I wish she had let the gown speak for itself.

School Run Style: Sarah Jessica Parker In Halston Heritage

We haven’t seen much of Sarah Jessica Parker lately. She didn’t even turn out for the Halston Fall 2011 presentation during New York Fashion Week.

Earlier today she was spotted out in New York City walking her son James to school.

She wore a rich purple belted Halston Heritage Fall 2011 hooded coat which is so very vibrant on a mild day in the city.

SJP’s coat has been modified slightly, as her coat doesn’t have the lace trimming the edges.

Black patent ballet pumps and dark sunglasses completed her yummy mummy school run look.

It’s amazing how a pop of colour can brighten up the day.

Nicole Richie In Halston – Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party

Nicole Richie attended Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party last night.

She looked amazing wearing a Halston Fall 2011 dress as the looks has more personality off the runway.

The floor length dress with asymmetrical slash details was recently presented during New York Fashion Week making Nicole the first person to wear a look from this collection.

Christian Louboutin python ‘Numero Prive’ heel, a black clutch plus Ofira and Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed her look.

I’m glad Nicole appears to finally kicked her boho habit.

Halston Fall 2011

I was super excited to attend my first Haltson presentation during New York Fashion Week.

The collection is designed by London based designer Marios Schwab. It’s his third collection for the iconic label with disco roots.

The venue at the Cedar Lake was full of stunning looks which wouldn’t look out of place at a glamorous party at Studio 54.

The designer was inspired by Lauren Hutton’s character in ‘American Gigolo’ so we were presented with fluid Grecian gown, pleated and draped cocktail dresses, shirt dresses, white cashmere column dresses, chocolate leather jackets, Mongolian fur jackets, jumpsuits and easy daywear looks.

The talking point of the presentation was when the lights dimmed and the white looks in the front glowed in the dark.

The Halston woman is statuesque, elegant and powerful.

Key accessories included paneled sandals and drop-front booties.

Favourites: ivory cashmere long cardigan with ivory cashmere knot detailed dress and chocolate leather jacket with plunging top and suede pants
