Hayden Panettiere In Halston Heritage – 2013 Billboard Music Awards

Hayden Panettiere hit a sophisticated note at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, hosted on Sunday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

As a presenter, the ‘Nashville’ star took a refined approach to the evening’s daring dress code in a Halston Heritage Spring 2013 black halter gown.

The backless design featured tiered layers at the bodice, which the actress delicately accented with minimal David Yurman jewels and a reflective gold cylinder Jimmy Choo ‘Cosma’ clutch that I loved.

The finishing touches came with side-swept old-Hollywood waves, barely-detectable makeup and a glossed lippie.

Even though Hayden didn’t startle us with all-out flash, her subtle-chic look was hardly a snooze fest.

‘Dukes of Melrose’ Launch Party Red Carpet Round Up

Celebs came out to help Cameron Silver and Christos Garkinos celebrate the launch of their new Bravo series, ‘Dukes of Melrose’, held at the Sunset Tower Hotel on Thursday evening. They all, of course, wore vintage pieces from the hosts’ boutique, Decades Inc.

Sophia Bush: Finally getting those bangs cut to a perfect length, the actress wore a vintage 80s Halston one-shoulder gold dress with a wrap skirt, which was styled with a snakeskin MCM flap wallet clutch and gold Ruthie Davis platform peep-toes.

Isabelle Fuhrman: Turning back time to the 60s, young Isabelle wore a vintage Norell bright-yellow long-sleeved shift dress, which she styled with a bright-yellow MCM bag. Between the two pops of colour and the gorgeous smile, needless to say she was my favourite at this event.

Leven Rambin: J’Adore Leven’s classic YSL Le Smoking 80s pant suit. It’s such a simple yet impactful look, with the bold shoulders, satin lapels and high-waisted pants. Her red lip colour further adds a bold statement, with a gold clutch and black sandals completing her gorgeous look.

2013 NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet Round Up

Here are a few looks I missed from the 2013 NAACP Image Awards which took place on Friday evening at the Shrine Auditorium in California.

Tatyana Ali: The gorgeous actress, who will always be Ashley Banks in my eyes, wore a beautiful printed cowl-back gown by Kevan Hall. The amethyst Rococo-print silk charmeuse gown was styled with a Lauren Merkin reptilian clutch and Mikimoto jewels. Curled hair and a berry lip colour completed her look.

Sandra Oh: Sporting tight curly tresses, the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star looked stunning wearing a forest-green vintage Halston draped gown with an open back and leather waistband accent. A selection of gold and silver link-chain bracelets, rings and a black glitter clutch accessorized her look.

Meagan Good: The actress looked very, very good wearing a Catherine Malandrino Fall 2012 gown from the designer’s Black Label collection. Her dark-violet one-sleeved gown, with a light ruffle cascading from the knotted waist, was one of the more vibrant looks to take to the red carpet. Barely-there makeup and silver glitter heels provided the finishing touches.

Meagan is the best of the three in my eyes. The colour is so hypnotic.

Anna Kendrick In Halston Heritage – Independent Spirit Awards Nominations Announcement

Anna Kendrick joined Zoe Saldana at the W Hollywood hotel for the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards nominations announcement in California yesterday morning.

The actress didn’t wear her favourite colour, nude, but a pretty pale-pink Halston Heritage Spring 2013 dress.

Her cute dress, with a plunging neckline and A-line skirt, was styled with pewter Sergio Rossi ‘Cachet’ slingbacks and a silver bracelet.

Glossy lips and a half-up, half-down hairstyle completed her look.

Anna Kendrick In Halston Heritage – 2012 Artios Awards

Anna Kendrick opted for all neutral hues for the 2012 Artios Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California last night.

The actress wore a Halston Heritage fitted sleeveless dress.

Her cream sheath dress with leather trims was styled with the same Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Spikes’ clutch we saw on Kerry Washington earlier, but in nude.

The nude clutch perfectly matched Anna’s nude pumps.

Even though I find this look one note, I have to admit that (surprisingly) I really like it.

Malin Akerman In Halston Heritage – Arthritis Foundation ‘Commitment to a Cure’ 2012 Awards Gala

Malin Akerman attended the 2012 Arthritis Foundation Commitment to a Cure Awards Gala held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA on Thursday evening.

Despite wearing a fitted Halston Heritage keyhole halter dress, the pregnant actress still managed to keep her baby bump under wraps. You can’t even tell she’s pregnant.

Walter Steiger ‘Potion’ nude-and-black platform sandals and a black patent leather clutch accessorized her look with a slick back bun, drop earrings and cocktail rings completing her look.
