Marion Cotillard In Halpern & Filles à Papa – César Awards 2018

Marion Cotillard opted for two metallic looks on the night of the César Film Awards 2018 on Friday (March 2) in Paris, France, where she joined Penelope Cruz, Isabelle Huppert, Olga Kurylenko and Mélanie Thierry, who all had one look to her two.

Considering this is the French equivalent to the Oscars, this Halpern Fall 2018 feels way too casual, even with the train. I may have been more forgiving had she opted for those stunning red embellished booties, but one must consider that after being contracted for so long, that Marion perhaps is in a wear-what-I-want-when-I-want frame of mind.

Most Worn 2017 – Halpern’s Draped Bustier Top

While Christian Dior knickers may have been the trend of 2017, it was a different kind of lingerie-inspired piece that commanded the top spot for most-worn item.

Although, I have to say I would have never predicted that it would be Halpern’s high-octane, draped bustier top that would have won the prize.

The corset-inspired piece, with its long side train, is such a power player with its explosion of glittery embellishment—a multi-colour confetti of dazzling sequins. Generally, these types of statements are not trotted out on multiple occasions.

But, after Marion Cotillard debuted the look, there was no deterring any of its future wearers, as Katy Perry, Cardi B, Rita Ora, and Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert each one-by-one in succession continued carrying the sparkling torch of the look.

I do love how Giovanna rounded out its fifth outing with a bang by skipping the bedazzled trousers underneath and letting her own gorgeous games do the talking.

The Fashion Awards 2017 Red Carpet Roundup

The long list of stars continued in full force at The Fashion Awards 2017 on Monday (December 4) in London.

Kaia Geber: I loved seeing the young model have some fun with the flirty nature of ruffles in this Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 two-piece, cold-shoulder look. It was style-forward, chic, and sweet at the same time. Messika jewels completed her look.

Adwoa Aboah: There was no sequin left unturned in this Halpern Spring 2018 sequin number, but it was the platform footwear that compromised its fresh potential.

Jourdan Dunn: The sultry seduction of the Versace label was fully celebrated in this orange gown. But I most loved the model’s gorgeous beauty look.

Diane Kruger In Halpern – ‘In The Fade’ New York Premiere

Diane Kruger’s rich vein of form has coincided beautiful with her ‘In the Fade’ promo tour, which continued with the New York premiere held at the Museum of Modern Art on Monday (December 4).

The actress dazzled in a Halpern Spring 2018 mini dress which featured the designers signature explosion of multicoloured sequins alongside a graphic cheetah print.

This bold mix made for an altogether more enthralling presentation which Diane kept fully in focus thanks to her Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals.

Michael Halpern of Halpern has had quite an impressive year, starting with Marion Cotillard giving his designs their red carpet debut during Cannes. And last night he ended the year collecting the ‘British Emerging Talent for Womenswear’ at the Fashion Awards.

Amal Clooney In Halpern – Casamigos Halloween Party

As we might expect, Amal Clooney was also at the Casamigos Halloween Party on Friday (October 27) in LA, where she held court with Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber.

Disco fever was raging in her disguise of choice that saw her take the glittery bustier top and bell-bottom flares from the Halpern Spring 2018 collection straight back to the ’70s.

I love the pop of the magenta Judith Leiber clutch. But, what really sent the look into extraordinary orbit was her giant hair, giant Linda Farrow shades, and equally giant hoop earrings.

Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Betty’ sandals completed the look.

Even on Halloween, with this glam entrance, Amal shows us how to be a style icon. This is everything I’d want my costume to be.
