Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann Fall 2014 - 'Only Lovers Left Alive' New York Screening

Tilda Swinton attended the ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ screening hosted by The Cinema Society and Stefano Tonchi, Editor in Chief of W Magazine, held at Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema on Wednesday (March 12) in New York City.

Following her mixed-reviewed Valentino Couture look, the Scottish actress went in the opposite – and most-favoured – direction, wearing an uber-sleek menswear look by Haider Ackermann.

The look typically featured a long overcoat with matching pants, styled with a brown blouse.

While this might feel like groundhog day to some, for me, as always, she rocks this signature look so well I will never tire of it.

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann - 'Snowpiercer' Berlin Film Festival Screening

Following ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ Berlin Film Festival premiere, Tilda Swinton attended a screening of her other movie, ‘Snowpiercer’ on Friday (February 7).

The actress donned a look from her favorite designer, Haider Ackermann, selecting pieces from both his Fall 2014 menswear collection and his Spring 2014 womenswear collection.

Her black-and-ivory printed and oversized menswear coat was styled with a black top and black trousers, featuring a berry-hue stripe that matched her lip colour.

While some of you may not get and/or appreciate Tilda’s red carpet looks, I love that when it comes to her androgynous style she is being very true to herself.

Menswear and womenswear are living in perfect harmony here. What’s not to love?

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann - 'Only Lovers Left Alive' New York Film Festival Premiere

Tilda Swinton attended the ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ premiere during the 51st New York Film Festival held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday evening.

As Tilda’s biggest champion I should have my pompoms out by now, but I just couldn’t get on board with her latest Haider Ackermann look featuring a disco-inspired multi-coloured embellished shawl-collared jacket which hails from the Spring 2014 collection.

Loving the jacket and pants, my issue here is the brown silk shirt.

While I don’t expect her to go bare like the runway model, the brown doesn’t mesh well with the rest of the look, for my personal liking. I wish it was black or that she had opted for a semi-sheer shirt.

I do, however, love that bold red lip.

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann - Hamburg Film Festival

Tilda Swinton received the Douglas Sirk Award during the Hamburg Film Festival held at Cinemaxx Dammtor in Hamburg, Germany yesterday evening.

Sporting a rare touch of red lip colour, the British actress turned to her designer BFF Haider Ackermann for her red carpet look.

Delightfully androgynous as always, she selected a midnight-blue shawl-collar suit accented with a diamond brooch, which she paired with a sexy sheer blouse and black satin pumps.

I know many of you don’t get my obsession with Tilda, but I think she effortlessly nails this look time after time.

With her pale skin, striking green eyes, and unique menswear-inspired style she never gets boring for me.

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann - 'Only Lovers Left Alive' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Tilda Swinton looked amazing when she took to the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals yesterday evening for the ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ Cannes Film Festival premiere.

The British actress wore a custom Haider Ackermann gold ensemble which included shimmering fluid long-sleeve top and extra long pants.

When it came to styling her look, she concentrated her efforts on her hair, styling her blonde tresses into a punky quiff, much to her co-stars’ amusement.

To prevent her from not looking washed out; Tilda applied a rich red lip colour to complete her look.

I know not everyone appreciates Tilda’s individual style, but this is yet another polished, chic look for me.

Whatever she is selling, I’m always buying, however, for a custom look the pants could’ve been a tad shorter.
