Olivia Wilde In Gucci – 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Olivia Wilde looked stunning on the red carpet of the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, held in West Hollywood last night.

In her second Gucci look of the weekend, Olivia wore a black silk georgette Pre-Fall 2012 evening gown with black crystal and sequin-embroidered black velvet belt detail accented with dragonflies.

The actress drew full attention to her gorgeous face with a sleek ballerina bun and kohl-rimmed eyes.

A gold choker and matching clutch accessorize the gown.

Olivia Wilde In Gucci – 2012 Independent Spirit Awards

Olivia Wilde opted to skip the red carpet at the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards, held in Santa Monica, California yesterday evening.

Thankfully we still get to see her colourful Gucci Pre-Fall 2012 dress inside the venue.

Her strapless floral print maxi dress in shades of white, red, purple and black looked gorgeous on her as Gucci continues to be a winning brand for her.

Olivia accessorized with Irene Neuwirth earrings and gold Ippolita bangles which were the perfected complement to her floral dress.

Soft wavy, tresses and barely-there make-up completed her look.

Who Wore Gucci Better? Kate Beckinsale or Veronica Echegui

Back in November last year, Kate Beckinsale wore this Gucci Resort 2012 dress to the LACMA’s Art and Film Gala in LA.

She teamed her strapless white dress with a black-and-gold floral embroidered belt, a bronze-coloured Kotur clutch and dangling gold and black earrings that perfectly matched her gown.

Lacquered and loose hair completed her look.

On Sunday, Veronica Echegui wore the same dress to the 2012 Goya Cinema Awards.

She teamed her look with a more complementary black-and-gold Lara Bohinc clutch and sported sexy tousled hair.

Veronica’s hair, clutch and overall sexy vibe win this for me.

Gucci Fall 2012

Frida Giannini created an opulent, romantic collection in dark, sensual hues with a velvety feel for Gucci’s Fall 2012 collection, which opened Milan Fashion Week.

The venue was pitch black but for a spotlight on the model taking to the runway wearing the dark, decadent pieces.

Jackets, velvet skirts, fitted long-sleeve dresses, oversized cropped leather jackets, sweaters and sheer lace-up blouses kick-started the presentation. Some had military accents, but the vibe was fearless femininity rather than androgynous chic.

Midway through the presentation we saw glimpses of colour via the floral prints on a maxi dress and chic PJs, before moving onto deep berry, sapphire blue and forest green.

For evening wear, Frida returned back to black to present a collection of billowing chiffon gowns luxuriously embellished with micro crystals and sequins in a beautiful floral pattern.

I’m pretty sure we will see Florence Welch wearing one of the finale dresses before the first buds of spring.

Key accessories included bejewelled bow-shaped hair clips, suede peep-toe ankle boots, leather satchels, crocodile saddlebags and flat riding boots.

Hayden Panettiere In Gucci – ‘Vanities’ 20th Anniversary Party

It’s déjà vu all over again.

At the ‘Vanities’ 20th anniversary party in Hollywood on Monday night, Hayden Panettiere walked the red carpet in a dress that we’ve already seen not once, but twice before.

Both Eva Mendes and Karen Elson have donned this bright red Gucci Fall 2011 silk chiffon gown.

This 70s-inspired dress is so gorgeous that I can understand why we keep seeing it on the red carpet.

Hayden attempted to put her own spin on the gown with a bright yellow Laura Merkin clutch and Louboutin snakeskin platforms.

Does Hayden wear the look better than Eva and Karen?
