Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of menswear looks which caught my eye on the red carpet from this weekend.

Nick Jonas: The singer wore two shades of grey donning a Topman wool suit styled with a turtleneck. Its an interesting look, but appears to be quite a warm for the AMAs.

Eddie Redmayne: It has been a while since we last saw a man in plaid on the red carpet, so welcome back Eddie Redmayne. The British actor wore a Gucci navy and burgundy plaid suit with a blue knit tie complementing his blue suede shoes for ‘The Danish Girl’ LA premiere. Good to see he hasn’t lost his sartorial style and exceptional presentational skills.

Harry Styles: Of all the One Direction lads, I was instantly drawn to Harry Styles. As you know, I love it when guys opt for interesting looks, and this Gucci Spring 2016 suit certainly fits in that category. My issue is the cut of the suit feels rather feminine so in this case it didn’t work for him, for me.

Kirsten Dunst In Gucci – PEN Center USA’s 25th Annual Literary Awards Festival

Kirsten Dunst In Gucci - PEN Center USA's 25th Annual

Kirsten Dunst attended the PEN Center USA’s 25th annual Literary Awards Festival at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Monday (November 16) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress wore a Gucci Resort 2016 colourful, chevron-striped dress.

Although the look had been modified and shortened from its runway presentation, the mood was still totally retro.

While I slightly missed the languid pleating of the longer skirt, I could have easily overlooked that element.

What brought down the look more were the black pumps that should have been swapped for a more playful gold pair.

LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala Red Carpet Roundup

LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala

Plenty more stars joined Diane Kruger, Reese Witherspoon, Kim Kardashian and Naomi Campbell for the LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala on Saturday (November 7) in Los Angeles, California, which was hosted by Gucci.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The model was a picture so loveliness wearing a Gucci Resort 2016 deep v-neck pleated layered gown. With the black ribbons for contrast, I don’t think the choker was needed here.

Dakota Johnson: This made me swoon. From the saffron hue, to the overall styling and elegance oozing from this Gucci Resort 2016 one of a kind gown. At first I didn’t quite get her style, but she’s most definitely one of my favourites now.

Brit Marling: The actress, who is one of my favourites, wore Gucci Resort 2016 pink suit.   I desperately wanted to love this, but damn those trousers are bringing me out in hives as they’re clearly too big for her. Mustard satin Gucci ‘Sylvia’ sandals and a Gucci yellow silk brocade clutch completed this near-perfect look.

19th Annual Hollywood Film Awards

19th Annual Hollywood Film Awards

The 19th Annual Hollywood Film Awards took place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (November 1) in Beverly Hills, California with many celebrities in attendance.

Jenna Dewan Tatum: The gorgeous actress was by far my favourite, bringing glamour to the event wearing a Zuhair Murad Resort 2016 yellow and black halter gown styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Carey Mulligan: As you know, I’ve been somewhat captivated by Carey’s style of late and this Erdem Resort 2016 dress is no exception. The cut, shimmer, tiered skirt and edge imbued by the studded Christian Louboutin ‘Baila Spike’ pumps all make this a perfect 10 for me.

Amber Heard: Also going for shimmer and shine was Amber Heard, who donned a Temperley London Spring 2016 beaded jumpsuit with complementary Jimmy Choo ‘Cardinal’ pumps .

amfAR’s Inspiration Gala Los Angeles Red Carpet Roundup

amfAR’s Inspiration Gala Los Angeles Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the amfAR’s Inspiration Gala Los Angeles held at Milk Studios on Thursday (October 29) in Hollywood, California.

Chloe Sevigny: The hippie vibe of this Gucci Spring 2016 polka dot dress was the perfect fit for Chloe’s style. Gucci glitter pink sandals and a Gucci burgundy plexi clutch completed her look.

Sarah Hyland: The actress dazzled not only because of her Jenny Packham blush-pink gown, but also thanks to her Lorraine Schwartz jewels. I’m not always the biggest fan of dark lips with a light-hued gown, but Sarah is selling the look from head-to-toe here.

Emma Roberts: A painterly floral print enriches the classic silhouette of Emma’s Alexander McQueen Resort 2016 frock. While some might find the Kotur feathered clutch overkill, I think adds a spark of personality.

Keira Knightley In Gucci – ‘Therese Raquin’ Broadway Opening Night

Keira Knightley In Gucci - 'Therese Raquin' Broadway Opening Night

Keira Knightley celebrated her Broadway opening night of ‘Therese Raquin’ at Studio 54 on Thursday (October 29) in New York City.

The actress changed a habit of a lifetime when she donned this Gucci Resort 2016 tri-colour silk chiffon ruffled and pleated dress styled with purple pumps.

What was vibrant and electrifying in movement on the runway, became a tad frumpy and overwhelming when stationary off the runway.

The pleats between the ruffles were the undeniable factor in bringing this look alive.

Elle Fanning In Gucci – ‘Trumbo’ LA Premiere

Elle Fanning In Gucci - 'Trumbo' LA Premiere

Elle Fanning attended the premiere of Bleecker Street Media’s ‘Trumbo’ held at AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Tuesday (October 27) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress wore a truly romantic Gucci Spring 2016 ivory and floral print dress rendered with an irresistible, floaty quality.

On anyone else the additional floral hair accessories would’ve been overkill considering the shoulder detailing, but on Elle, it only adds to the overall charm of the look.

Soft pink Gucci ‘Sylvia’ sandals provided the finishing touches.
