Blake Lively In Gucci – Chime for Change One-Year Anniversary Event

Blake Lively In Gucci - Chime for Change One-Year Anniversary Even

Blake Lively attended an event to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Chime for Change hosted by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini at the Gucci Fifth Avenue boutique on Tuesday (June 3) in New York City.

Once again I’m looking at Blake and wondering what happened, and that’s hard for me to say considering she’s my girl.

This Gucci Fall 2014 dress is all wrong for her, feeling a tad twee and too much up front.

Let’s start with the colour. I’m not a fan of this shade of mustard against her skin tone, nor am I a fan of the leather trims.

The keyhole. I know this will be the deal breaker for most (especially those who often ask Blake to pick boobs or legs, and here she opted for both), and I would agree.

And don’t even get me started on the creases.

The only things I would save from this look are the gold glitter Christian Louboutin pumps and her Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Sarah Hyland In Gucci – Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Sarah Hyland In Gucci - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Sarah Hyland attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the Comedy Actress award for ‘Modern Family’.

The actress shimmered in a Gucci Resort 2014 pewter and green T-shirt-style dress styled with nude Louboutin pumps, a gold Roger Vivier clutch, a Zoe and Morgan gold spike ring and Givenchy earrings.

The only thing I would take out of this equation is the clutch. I would’ve opted to keep it simple and neutral, like her pumps.

Blown-out tresses and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her chic look.

Camilla Belle In Gucci – In Conversation with Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini

Camilla Belle In Gucci - 'In Conversation with Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini'

Camilla Belle attended the ‘In Conversation with Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini’ session hosted at MAR Museum on Friday (May 30) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Continuing her Brazilian ambassadorial role for the Italian brand, she looked divine once again, wearing a look from the Fall 2014 collection.

Channelling a more playful elegance, she wore a pistachio-green sleeveless dress featuring shiny gold button detailing and a single pleat in the skirt.

Anchoring this feminine daytime look were a pair of Gucci metallic-gold ankle-strap platform shoes with a Gucci ‘Nice Flora’ bag printed with pretty meadow-inspired florals.

The bag makes me love the look even more.

Camilla Belle In Gucci – Gucci Museo ‘Forever Now’ Exhibit Opening

Camilla Belle In Gucci - Gucci Museo 'Forever Now' Exhibit Opening

Camilla Belle attended the Gucci Museo ‘Forever Now’ exhibit opening on Wednesday (May 28), hosted at the fashion house’s first temporary museum at the JK Iguatemi Mall in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

The actress was beautiful in a Gucci Fall 2014 rosy-mauve dress, featuring smartly tailored construction and a touch of the label’s trademark glitz via the smoky-crystal, bib-like collar.

The styling of the slightly mod, but thoroughly modern outing, was spot-on. She complemented the look with a pair of pendant earrings that were strong enough to make their point without competing with the dress, alongside cross-strap peep-toe heels and a black clutch.

A slick chignon, metallic eye and berry lip were everything that was needed to complete the chic statement.

Camilla Belle In Gucci – Frida Giannini Dinner Party

Camilla Belle In Gucci - Frida Giannini Dinner Party

Carlos Jereissati Filho, CEO of Iguatemi, hosted a dinner on Monday (May 26) in honour of Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini on the occasion of her first trip to Brazil.

Camilla Belle attended the intimate dinner, which took place on the eve of the inauguration of Gucci’s first temporary museum at JK Iguatemi Mall.

The actress wore a striking zebra-print Gucci long-sleeved dress with a cropped overlay, which she styled with a burgundy Gucci ‘Aristographic’ clutch.

It’s probably not a look I would’ve picked out, so I’m surprised by how much she makes me like this effortless look.

Best Dressed of The Week – Aishwarya Rai in Roberto Cavalli, Ryan Gosling in Gucci & James McAvoy in Burberry Tailoring

Best Dressed of The Week - Aishwarya Rai in Roberto Cavalli

I hope you all had a great Memorial and Bank Holiday weekend.

BDOTW was very hard this week, with several BDOTY contenders on this week’s list.

My finger hovered over Jessica Chastain in Atelier Versace, Aishwarya Rai in Roberto Cavalli, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Gucci Première and Sonam Kapoor in Anamika Khanna before settling on Aishwarya Rai.

Purely because the drama of the look was on another level – and by your votes it would appear you agree – plus, the dress still gives me goosebumps a week on, and it’s not often I can say that about a re-run.

When it came to the fellas our opinions differed. You went for Ryan Gosling in Gucci sans tie, whereas my heart said Channing Tatum, as always, but my head said James McAvoy in Burberry Tailoring.
