Hangover Premiere Menswear

The men of ‘The Hangover Part III’ also took to the red carpet at Westwood Village Theatre in Westwood, California on Monday evening. Thankfully, it wasn’t the black-suit fest we are used to.

Bradley Cooper: I was most impressed with Bradley’s custom Gucci suit; he stepped way past the limits of usual red carpet menswear (unless you are Ryan Gosling or Jamie Foxx), donning a rust-coloured notched-lapel two-button suit. Pairing the look with a pale-blue shirt was also a bit of a risk when a white shirt would’ve been an easier choice. What I love most about this look is that I can finally see Bradley’s handsome face again. The beard was getting a bit out of control.

Justin Bartha: Going for a head-to-toe sleek Etro look, the actor wore a grey-and-blue plaid woven suit with a blue dress shirt. I love the accents, which prevent this look from feeling one note; they include a navy silk polka-dot tie, a silk paisley pocket square and suede two-tone brogues.

Zach Galifianakis: My wish for this look is that Zach had matched his jacket to his pants. Either colour would’ve worked. As presented it doesn’t work for me.

James Franco's Cannes Film Festival Style

The Cannes Film Festival is a grand hub of menswear suits and tuxedos. James Franco has certainly been one of the best, wearing well-cut suits along with his trademark smile.

The Art of Elysium, Rabbit Bandini and Leon Max event for Ahna O’Reilly: Supporting his co-star Ahna O’Reilly, James stepped out in a blue notch-lapel Gucci suit. Usually fastening both jacket buttons is a no-no, but James did it multiple times and still got the slimming effect of one button. Along with the suit, he paired a white shirt with a matching blue tie. He also wore black shoes and aviators. I would have preferred brown shoes with such a light suit, but the black looks good.

As I Lay Dying photocall: The second look came on Monday during the photocall before the film ‘As I Lay Dying’, which he both directed and starred in. For this he opted for a well-tailored black Gucci suit with notch lapels. He finished it off with a white shirt and a navy tie. The messy hairdo looks great too.

As I Lay Dying premiere: On Monday night, James went fully formal in an amazing-looking black three-piece Gucci tux with peak lapels. The dapper look was finished off traditionally with a white shirt and black bow tie. This was the best fit of the three.

I was pleasantly surprised by his three looks. Each of them fit perfectly and he kept them simple, even with a lighter-blue suit. Of the three, I think my favorite is the first look: the blue suit. It was a great colour for the event.

Freida Pinto's 'The Great Gatsby' Cannes Film Festival Premeire Gucci Gown Sketch

Last night Gucci dressed Freida Pinto for the premiere of The Great Gatsby on the opening night of the 66th Annual Cannes International Film Festival.

Here is an exclusive sketch showcasing Freida one of a king Gucci coral silk chiffon halter gown with fully embellished belt.

The India actress is set to work with Gucci once again because on June 1, Freida will be among the presenters at ‘The Sound of Change Live,’ a global concert event taking place at London’s Twickenham Stadium which will be broadcast around the world.

The concert event, headlined by Beyonce Knowles, will be presented by CHIME FOR CHANGE, the recently launched global campaign founded by Gucci, which serves to raise funds and awareness for girls’ and women’s empowerment.

Freida Pinto In Gucci - ‘The Great Gatsby’ Premiere & Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

This is the one I was waiting for. Freida Pinto more than lived up to my expectations this evening while attending ‘The Great Gatsby’ Cannes Film Festival premiere, which also serves as the Opening Ceremony.

The Indian actress wore a one-of-a-kind Gucci coral silk chiffon halter gown which was accented with gold-embellished belt and styled with complementary open-toe shoes.

Adding more gold to her look, she selected Chopard earrings which were on full display thanks to her braided updo.

I love the Bollywood feel to this look with the bright colour and opulent accessories.

She looked like she was having a ball on this red carpet.

Cat Deeley In Gucci - FOX 2103 Programming Presentation Post-Party

Cat Deeley joined Lea Michele on the red carpet for the FOX 2013 Programming Presentation Post-Party held at Wollman Rink in Central Park in New York City on Monday evening.

The British TV presenter wore a jacquard Gucci Spring 2013 python-print sleeveless tunic dress; you may remember that Kerry Washington first wore this same look last year.

With her tousled blonde Pantene-caressed locks and kohl-rimmed eyes, this look would’ve really had a sting in the tail had Cat opted for the Gucci ‘Ursula’ ankle-strap heels or any sandals in preference to her conservative pumps.

Do you agree?

Alice Eve In Gucci - ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Mexico Premiere

Alice Eve joined Zoe Saldana on the red carpet for the ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Mexico premiere.

The British actress wore her second look from the Gucci Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

Her frock featured a netted high-neck top, olive strappy top and black velvet skirt.

While I like the look, it feels a tad dark for a premiere in Mexico. I think Zoe had the right idea by opting for something spring-like, despite her look also being a Fall look.

Wavy tresses with side-swept bangs once again – I guess she’s figured out that this style is working better for her – and black pumps provided the finishing touches.
